The Riviera Maya EDITION at Kanai

It’s a beautiful place to be! We loved the restaurant sool , my only feedback is that the service is really slow, it took average 30-40 min to receive a beer. Our waiter was Bryan, he is really charismatic, we will only encourage the service to be faster as we expect a luxury service from this hotel.

Had a fabulous trip to Edition Kanai with my husband, mom and brother to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. The service was excellent, so many places in Mexico say they are 5 star and are not. This one is. Edgardo (manager) was helpful with reservations and checked in on us frequently, Jassel (guest exp) arranged for decorations and an amazing cake in our room upon arrival, Ricardo at the bar was so sweet and made excellent cocktails, and Ramon at the pool made sure we were never without shade, food and drinks. The housekeeping, other bar/restaurant/pool/beach and room service staff were amazing too. The staff overall were so thoughtful and kind, which is what makes great stays unforgettable and unique. The property and rooms were beautiful and modern, with potted plants everywhere and everything was impeccably well-kept and clean. There was plenty of space at either pools and the beach and they had a service cleaning sargassum on the beach the entire time (which is a big issue at other properties in the area this time of year). The food was GREAT. You are invited to visit the neighboring St. Regis and Auberge restaurants as well, which is nice, but the food on property was especially well-thought of and prepared with fresh ingredients. Even room service food was outstanding, which is hit or miss even at the nicest hotels. My husband and I are already planning our next trip out, but will remember this one for a long time. It was a very special birthday and the Edition made it even more memorable.

The team at the Riviera Maya were beyond wonderful! Every single person there was so amazing. We travel almost 200 days a year and stay at resorts all over the world. The professionalism and hospitality by everyone at the riviera maya was unmatched! The resort and the amenities were fabulous but it was the staff that really sets this place apart. Every single staff member reminded our names, what we like down to the smallest detail. It truly felt like we were family during our stay. If you are looking to visit this part of Mexico this is the only place you should consider.

The Edition Hotel is absolutely fabulous!! The hotel is stunning, the food and service was also top notch! Henry went above and beyond during our stay, he truly made us feel so special! Can’t wait to be back!
