The Place to stay but you will overpay.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Anniversary stay. Needed King with River View. Booked 8 weeks early for June 2026 3 nights. Most ever payed but must be worth it ??? Valet and door staff are lovely. Starbucks in the basement convenient. Pool Hot Tub exceptional. But why upon return when I look at reservations for 3 nights anytime in June do I see prices 25% less than I paid for the same room? Thanks Quebec, Thanks Frontenac.

Oh my word what a wonderful hotel. The room, breakfast, staff were fantastic. We were celebrating a big anniversary and they sent chocolates and prosecco to us. Can’t fault anything

Anniversary stay in Quebec

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Impeccable, grand, exquisite, charming, and most delightful. These are the first words that come to mind. We stayed here for 4 days following a cruise we did from Boston to Quebec. We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived. The staff was professional, courteous, and above and beyond. Our room was excellent (15th floor suite) service and housekeeping superb. Concierge service exceptional. Lastly, Sunday Brunch at the hotel, everything grand that you would expect it to be! Worth every penny and more.

Nothing but class!!

From the moment you walk in the golden accented revolving front doors, you can feel the classiness of this place. It’s was a short shuttle ride to the hotel. The bus boys/attendants were unloading our luggage before we even stepped off of the shuttle. We checked in and headed up to our room. Our luggage was already in our room. Our room is huge #5177. It has two different seating areas plus a desk, a wet bar & coffee/tea station & a big shower. There are two different windows that open with a stunning view. It is located just steps away from lots of restaurants and shops. The “Moment Spa” located in the hotel is top notch. I got the absolute best massage I have ever received, ask for Jordan. I also had a top notch facial, ask for Nicola. They have a robe and slippers in your room to wear to the spa. The room service here is also amazing. I called to order and the lady answered the phone and said “hello Mrs. Little” I thought I had accidentally called the front desk. I only have 2 complaints, they need bigger tv’s. The tv is so far across the room that I literally cannot read the guide. I have to get up out of the bed and walk up to the tv to read it. The 2nd complaint is that they don’t have very many tv options in English and I couldn’t find a way to login to any of the streaming services I subscribe to. I do realize that you aren’t supposed to be spending that much time in your room, but that’s how I relax. With all of that being said, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you stay here. You will not be disappointed.

Best breakfast for people with dietary restrictions!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

First of all, this is a great hotel! You receive pre-Covid service and are treated the way you would like to be treated when you are a guest of a fine hotel. We will definitely stay again when we return to Quebec City. The main reason I'm writing this review is to help people like myself who have dietary restrictions. I have many and find it challenging to travel. Usually, I can barely eat anything at the breakfasts that come with my hotel stay. Sometimes, I can't eat anything at all. Other times I have very limited options. It's almost always frustrating to ask for help with what I can and can't eat. Sound familiar to anyone? My stay at Le Chateau Frontenac was a fantastic exception in this regard! I owe that to Admir (my server) and Chef Jeff. I cannot say enough about how helpful they were. Chef Jeff clearly and patiently explained to me what I could and couldn't eat. He treated it like these were normal questions. He made special omelets for me each morning. Admir brightened my day by making sure that I was being properly helped. He truly went above and beyond. Each morning, he brought me two breakfast desserts! I can almost never eat desserts in restaurants for dinner. I've never been able to eat desserts at breakfast! Admir and Chef Jeff truly understand dietary restrictions, more than just gluten, dairy, peanuts, and salt. If you decide to have breakfast at Le Chateau Frontenac you will feel confident that you can eat the food that you are served. If possible, ask for Admir to be your server!
