Our stay at The Rome EDITION was one of the highlights of our recent trip to Europe and helped set the stage for an unforgettable Italian adventure. We were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary with our son on our family’s first visit to Europe, and from the moment we began planning our stay, the team at The Rome EDITION made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. We had the pleasure of connecting with General Manager Marina Rogova, whose warmth and hospitality immediately made us feel at home. Marina and her incredible team, especially Vanessa Scano, Giulia Spiccia, and Leonardo from the concierge team, went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our stay was exceptional. As a Marriott Bonvoy Lifetime Titanium member, I have stayed at many wonderful Marriott properties around the world, and I can confidently say that The Rome EDITION exemplifies Marriott hospitality at its very best. The personalized attention, genuine care, and commitment to creating memorable experiences were evident in every interaction. Before our arrival, Marina, Vanessa and Leonardo were incredibly helpful in coordinating details and Giulia was in touch from the moment we landed and helped us navigate through the busy airport to ensure we were comfortable! After our overnight flight, we were warmly welcomed at check-in with cappuccinos and delicious pastries just made from their pastry chef, a thoughtful touch that immediately refreshed us. Thanks to our American Express Fine Hotels + Resorts benefits, we were fortunate to enjoy early check-in, allowing us to rest briefly before beginning our exploration of Rome. One of the most memorable surprises of our stay was an unexpected upgrade to one of the hotel’s spectacular balcony suites. While I had admired the suite when researching the property, I never imagined we would have the opportunity to experience it. The expansive terrace was breathtaking and became a wonderful place to relax and soak in the beauty of Rome. It was an incredibly thoughtful gesture that made our anniversary celebration even more special. We chose The Rome EDITION for its central location, boutique atmosphere, beautiful rooftop pool and restaurant, and garden dining setting. It exceeded EVERY expectation. The concierge team was invaluable in helping us navigate Rome and plan our activities. On our first day, we enjoyed an incredible golf cart tour of the city and the Colosseum. The following day, we experienced a private guided tour through the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. The team’s local knowledge and recommendations truly elevated our visit. The rooftop experience deserves special recognition. The views across Rome are stunning, and the rooftop offers multiple spaces to enjoy, including the pool, lounge, bar, and restaurant. Our first evening dinner on the rooftop was exactly what I had hoped for—beautiful surroundings, delicious food, impeccable service, and the perfect way to begin our Roman holiday. The following afternoon, returning from sightseeing to relax by the pool with drinks and snacks felt like pure luxury. Breakfast each morning was equally special. The garden setting was peaceful and elegant, and the service was exceptional. We loved the fresh fruit presentation and the incredible pastries prepared by the hotel’s pastry chef. Everything was delicious. I especially enjoyed the roasted pumpkin, while my husband was delighted with the Croque Madame. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. Looking back, our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. We would have loved another day or two to slow down and enjoy even more of both Rome and this remarkable hotel. Our heartfelt thanks to Marina, Vanessa, Giulia, Leonardo, and the entire valet, reception, concierge, housekeeping, restaurant, lounge, and behind-the-scenes teams. Your kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made our anniversary celebration and first European adventure truly unforgettable. We will always remember our time at The Rome EDITION and look forward to returning someday.

I’ve got mixed feelings about it here. Very sexy in external looks. The patio is great , very happening vibe, the inside bars and staff are all very good. Quiet neighborhood not very touristy. The rooms though feel spartan, and outright puny for the price. Unless you’re a traveling salesperson , don’t take anything under deluxe. I’d stay in the middle lanes there, even the suites for the price will disappoint you if you’ve ever stayed in one in Italy . It’s an efficient room, horrible space for bags , or your clothes out of the bags. It’s like the Marriot off brands that working people use, not for vacation travel. Everyone is nice, beyond nice, and depending on my time and purpose, I’d go back and stay. I’ll definitely eat there and come to the patio.

My wife and I had a lovely experience at The Edition. The rooms were great with plenty of room especially for Italy. The staff was fantastic from the check in to the concierge. Giulia was especially impressive. She helped resolve an issue we had with a travel tour and consistently provided great suggestions on where to go.

As we prepare to arrive this Friday morning at the The Rome EDITION, I cannot say enough about the incredible pre-stay service we have already received. From the moment we made our reservation, the warmth, professionalism, and genuine care from the entire team have been exceptional. Marina Rogova, General Manager, and Vanessa Scano, Executive Assistant Manager, immediately made us feel welcomed and valued. They truly listened to me, from my arrival time and room needs as well as connecting me with their wonderful concierge team for dining and transportation arrangements. This meant so much that they would take the time to ensure our stay will be the best it could be. Leonardo and Sara in concierge have been absolutely amazing — responsive, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful in making our upcoming trip to Rome feel seamless and exciting. My last visit to Italy was over 50 years ago, so their reassurance, recommendations, and attention to detail have meant so much to me. This is clearly a truly service-oriented property where hospitality comes first. Whether you are looking for places to visit, restaurants, tours, or special experiences, this concierge team does it all with such care and enthusiasm. I’m a Lifetime Titanium Bonvoy member, LOVE Marriott properties and was drawn to The Rome EDITION (they have a beautiful rooftop setting) — I am so glad we chose it for our pre-cruise stay. We are already counting down the days until we arrive and experience this beautiful city. Thank you all for your amazing service and kindness. We cannot wait for our stay and look forward to meeting you all!

Where do I even start. The Rome EDITION completely blew me away and it wasn’t just because the property is stunning — it was the PEOPLE.The staff anticipated everything before I even had to ask. Every detail, every preference — remembered. You don’t find that everywhere and it made all the difference. The concierge team deserves their own shoutout. They helped us get into amazing restaurants, and when I had a dental emergency mid-trip they found me an excellent English-speaking dentist without missing a beat. That’s when you really see what a hotel is made of. Also — the rooftop. GO UP THERE. The views of Rome are absolutely incredible, don’t skip it. Now the moment that genuinely got me — they surprised me with a cake to celebrate my 350th Marriott night. I never mentioned it. I was not expecting that at all. That’s not just good service, that’s next level. Two nights wasn’t enough. Already thinking about when I’m coming back. I love edition hotels and per usual The Rome EDITION set the bar! 10/10 in every way.
