Cayo Espanto

We’ve been lucky enough to have traveled to many beautiful places in the world. This is our first trip to Cayo Espanto. It has far exceeded our expectations. Every person we’ve had contact with on the staff has been remarkable, helpful, knowledgeable, and customer oriented. Erica and Rosita answered all my questions about trip planning and dealing with numerous airline itinerary changes, telling me not to worry about anything. They monitored flights and made changes; Emillio escorted us to the commuter flight to San Pedro, got our tickets, and checked our bags. We were met at the San Pedro airport taken to a boat launch for the short ride to the island. Our housemen Eddie and Kevin were incredible. They saw to our every need, were friendly and took care of every need. Our meals were outstanding and customized to our tastes, including our desire for no salt dishes. The chefs came up with amazing meals for us. The entire staff, including housekeepers and other people we met could not have been more professional and friendly. I was celebrating a milestone birthday and found a birthday message written into the sand as we walked out to a special place where lights, Tiki torches and a table were set up for us to have our birthday dinner, which was incredible. Massages from Barbara and Monique, were among the best we’ve ever had anywhere. In summary, there was nothing we would change about this remarkable resort and hope we can get back there in the future.

OMW! We just came home from a 5 night stay and I cannot say enough good things about it. We were in Casa Brisas and it lived up to its name with a fabulous breeze all the time! The service was exceptional.... ALL the time. And goodness, I LOVED the sheets and the comfort of the bed. Carlos and Jose were the best housemen and were really attentive. We wanted for nothing. Isabel kept our place immaculate and Chef Cynthia and the kitchen staff prepared incredible meals and even shifted the dessert menu to accommodate my love of chocolate. The spa treatments by Monique and Barbara were also top notch. AND.... our 3 excursions led by German and Max (and Bodi ?) were just so good! All of these things were coordinated by Rosalita and Erica. Thank you, team Cayo Espanto for and amazing time!!!

This is paradise! Cayo Espanto is your own private paradise. The food…amazing! The service…amazing!! Obed, Brandon, Chef Cynthia and Rosita….amazing!

What an AMAZING place!! We have traveled many places, but this place is special. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you Eddie and Jose ,housemen, for taking care of us. Everything is first class, and I mean everything. You are met at the airport and walked through customs to your helicopter or plane and then the magic begins. You are greeted on the island by the staff and escorted to your villa for an unforgettable vacation. The chef and his staff make sure they prepare something special for each and every meal. Every meal is prepared based on your personal preference. The word “no” does not exist on fantasy island. If you want something just ask. We felt like we were the only ones on our on private island. The sunsets compare to no others you’ve seen. You can do as much or as little as you like. We hated to leave but we made a promise we would be back. Thank you Erica for making sure all of our dreams came true. When you have a resort that has employees that have been there for more than 10 years that speaks volumes. Thank you again for a magical week!

Our stay at Cayo Espanto was awesome. The staff treats you like royalty. Food is delicious and anything you want they provide. The bedding and pillows were so soft and cozy, you feel like you are sleeping on a cloud. Sit back, enjoy the beautiful view, drinks and have the time of your life.
