If sailing ribs ridiculously expensive, pool price for visitors is $50!per person, provisioning is small and over priced. Probably good if you are staying there.

Went to scrub island when it was Marriott property. Loved the trip and wanted to go back. Booked a room through VRBO. A week later, after I was charged a deposit and contacted scrub island to book diving trips, VRBO notified me that there was no vacancy for that time period. The real reason was VRBO was a $100 a night cheaper than booking through the property. 48 hours after sending my reservation to Scrub Island concierge…I was notify the reservation was cancelled. Not stepping foot on scrub island again. Unprofessional

Five star stay at Scrub Island. This was our 7th stay at Scrub over as many years. Though the quality has waxed and waned a bit (and we miss the benefits we used to optimize when it was a Marriott property) this stay was one of our best. 2-BR Villa was perfect for our family of four. Our head butler (Lady Dee) made sure via WhatsApp that we had anything we needed, no matter the time/hour. We particularly enjoyed the updated furniture and menus at the North Beach as well as at Cardamom and Co restaurant. This resort is still unmatched in my opinion in beauty as well as comfort, location, and value.

This extremely isolated resort offered stunning views of the Caribbean and the room itself (I stayed in the Leeward Villa) was outstanding. However, the service at this hotel was among the worst I've experienced. When my mother and I arrived (after pre-arranging our arrival time), we had to wait over an hour to be taken to our room (other family members said it took them over 2 hours). The phones in the rooms did not operate and trying to get picked up from our villa was a very stressful exercise. Despite the beautiful surroundings, I would not stay here again.

Great stay. Staff were consistently friendly & professional. Governors Suite room was spacious, well-kept & very comfortable for a weeks’ stay. Five restaurant options provided plenty of choices. Good to very good food overall although I wish they had more bowls with veggie & protein options beyond salads. Decent gym. Management was responsive when I mentioned there were no towels or cleaning wipes in the gym, and they corrected that. Peaceful atmosphere, less busy and crowded than a large all-inclusive. Good value for what we paid. Easy to reach from the EIS airport & ferry service was prompt & convenient. Overall very nice facilities & we will consider returning next year.
