Great location poor food & drink

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Had a breakfast on the property, great location sitting outside by the creek. Friendly service & good valet. The 3 star rating was due to food quality. Strange latte which was more an Americano with milk & lukewarm. Fried chicken biscuit sandwich again lukewarm and did not taste fresh. The chia seed pudding was ok although the saffron custard was gloopy and sticky, very odd.

Great escape for 20th Anniversary

Fantastic stay for our anniversary. We were able to enjoy all the resort had to offer and felt pampered the whole time. It is an expensive experience, but we felt the services we received were worth it.

Magical & Enjoyable Stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Relaxing upscale resort, beautiful surroundings, excellent services and staff. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, and the grounds are magically inviting. There are a couple of pools, one is connected to the spa - which if you are interested in a facial, massage or other services you must try! Cress by the creek is definitely worth reserving (and I highly recommend reservations!). The last time I stayed, I brought my car because it was just myself as my husband had to work; it's a 2 seater standard, we generally don't take on stay-caytions. The valet who helped me upon arriving did not know how to drive one and in all the fluster, forgot my to retrieve my bags. After waiting an hour, and getting nervous about making my dinner reservation at Cress, I called the front desk. There was a flurry of excitement because for a few moments it appeared my bags were lost. However, they were just forgotten in the car. Five minutes later, I say Quran, the only valet on staff that weekend who could drive my car, RUNNING up the path with all three bags. He told me the comical details, and I was able to get refreshed and dressed for my dinner by the creek. I appreciate that my concerns about getting freshened up weren't treated as though I was being a pain in the patootie. I really did just want to wash the day's grime off me and dress appropriately for dinner (dress code is resort casual, FYI). The concierge helped with a sunset hike suggestion that was phenomenal and I also had breakfast brought in by room service which was delivered hot and fresh (quite delish, too!). I have stayed here a couple of times - I highly recommend - while it is directly in town in Sedona, where it is located you feel like you're 100 miles away from the busy town.

A Serene Sedona Gem — Warm Hospitality Meets Breathtaking Red Rocks

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

L'Auberge de Sedona delivered one of the most memorable stays of our road trip. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel genuinely welcomed — check-in was seamless and handled with warmth and care, and the valets were cheerful and attentive throughout our stay. It's the kind of effortless service that you don't fully appreciate until you compare it elsewhere. Our room was exceptionally comfortable — well-appointed, quiet, and the perfect retreat after a full day of exploring. The location along the creek is stunning; we stepped outside and felt completely immersed in Sedona's dramatic landscape without having to go far at all. A highlight of our stay was the front desk team going out of their way to recommend local hiking trails and the famous vortex sites. We took their advice and it turned out to be one of the best experiences of the entire trip — absolutely magical. That kind of thoughtful, personalised local knowledge makes all the difference. If you're heading to Sedona, L'Auberge is the place to be. Highly recommended.

A Peaceful Retreat Beneath the Red Rocks

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

We recently stayed at L'Auberge de Sedona and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Check-in was a bit hectic and valet was somewhat confusing at first, but every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. Once we found our room, any stress from traveling quickly disappeared. The view was breathtaking: towering red rock cliffs in the distance overlooking a lush, tree-filled valley below. It was peaceful, serene, and exactly what we hoped Sedona would feel like. One of the highlights of the trip was the 90-minute CBD massage. My fiancée described it as the best massage she has ever received. She actually fell asleep during part of it, woke up, and still had plenty of time remaining to fully enjoy the experience before it ended. Dining by the creek was another memorable experience. Service was slower than expected during breakfast, particularly right after opening, and several groups left before being seated. It may have simply been a staffing issue that morning. We were glad we stayed, however, because the food was excellent and the coffee service for two was a thoughtful touch that made the meal feel special. What stands out most is how we felt after returning home. We found ourselves missing the room and the surroundings almost immediately. More importantly, this was the first trip in a long time where we came home feeling refreshed and energized rather than needing a vacation from the vacation. That speaks volumes about how relaxing and restorative this resort truly is. We would gladly return.
