Palais de Chine

We stayed in Palais De Chine from 4 May – 9 May 2025. And we must say that this is a very lovely hotel that exudes old world charm. The location is perfect; conveniently located next to Qsquare mall and is within a short 3-min walk to the Taipei main station. We have been to Taipei many times and this is our first time staying here. And I would say that this is the best hotel that we have stayed in Taipei so far. We booked a twin room that is of 30 Sq meter which was very spacious. The room was nicely decorated and was very clean. We stayed in room 711 which was near the lift. The pantry was next to our room which made it very convenient to refill our water. What really amazed us was the level of service that the hotel staff provided. All of them were very friendly, helpful and super polite. Throughout our stay, we had quite a number of deliveries from different parts of Taiwan. The concierge staff helped with the arrangement and they were done seamlessly. All the items were delivered to our hotel rooms on schedule. Besides that, we were always warmly greeted by the concierge staff each time we stepped out or returned to the hotel. A special shoutout to Mr Ken Tso and Ms Ori Wu who continued to serve us on the day of our check out. Mr Ken Tso shared with us the hotel specialty; the Chinese restaurant which is highly sought after. He offered to help us book in advance should we visit Taipei again. He also checked if we needed help with airport transfer. For Ms Ori Wu, we understand that she was the main person helping us with the receipt and delivery of our goods to our room. There was also a concierge staff who patiently explained and showed us the ways to the restaurants we wanted on our first night in Taipei. The interaction with these hotel staff left a deep impression on us. They were really so pleasant that we will definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Taipei. The location of this hotel is just near the Main station for Subway, High Speed Rail and MTR. The concierge staff is super friendly and gives good advice on matters that you ask. Willing to listen patiently and guide you thereafter. Rooms are also superb.

This is my 2nd stay at this hotel within a few months, and once again, it exceeded my expectations. We stayed for 6 nights on the executive floor with breakfast included. 1. Before our arrival, I requested some information via email—responses were prompt, helpful and detailed. 2. Check-in was smooth with excellent customer service at the reception. 3. Breakfast was very good, offering a wide variety of choices, attentive service and a lovely ambiance. 4. The Executive Lounge staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good, and it’s a great spot to relax and enjoy a glass of whiskey. 5. Staff at the Level 1 entrance always greeted us warmly each time we left or returned to the hotel. 6. Housekeeping was thoughtful and efficient, keeping the room clean and very comfortable. 7. The location is superb—direct access to subway, trains, buses, taxis, and surrounded by great food and shopping options. Overall, it was an excellent stay and I will definitely return. One tip: we couldn’t get a booking at 君品·頤宮 Chinese restaurant this time—make sure to reserve in advance!

The Hotel is in a great location, right next to the Taipei main station. We found the staff friendly and helpful the room was clean and neat and large. We would recommend this place as a great central location in Taipei. we arrived a little bit before check in and were having difficulty with our E Sim they sat us in the restaurant/bar and provided us with WIFI to organize our E Sim issues.

It’s my third stay at this hotel and the staff are 100% great hosts and the rooms never disappoint the beds are always comfy and everything else is just amazing…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
