Metropolitan Hotel Vancouver

My wife and I took a trip to Vancouver, and stayed several nights at the Metropolitan Hotel. We loved it, a very nice hotel. Absolutely perfect staff in every way, from the front desk to bell staff to housekeeping. A model experience. Clean, beautiful, great sleeping. Loved the location: walkable to anywhere including the ship pier, shopping, restaurants, even Stanley Park. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great stay here, central location handy for shopping centre and bus connections. Excellent staff, very helpful at reception - can recommend Diva restaurant (especially the lobster ravioli and the fab cocktails at the bar).

This is a handy hotel due to its great location in downtown Vancouver. Especially for those going on a cruise. Best to walk with your luggage to the terminal as a taxi will take longer as traffic around the port terminal is horrendous, more so when more than one ship is in port. Hotel is modern, but old. Our room felt a little dated but it was comfortable. Don’t expect too much in terms of views from your rooms. We did notice lots of tour groups stay here which makes it a very busy hotel & may reflect the high nightly prices. The small foyer on occasions did feel overcrowded. If we can get a good deal on pricing we’d certainly consider staying here again.

Was a great hotel. Had a wonderful location and vibe. Service was excellent. Clean. Great beds. An all around wonderful stay.

I cancelled my reservation 48hr prior to arrival due to a family medical emergency. I offered to send the hotel medical documentation in exchange for credit for a future stay. The hotel refused. When I escalated to a supervisor, I was told to contact Booking.com (who then directed me to the hotel). Very disappointing customer service.
