About the Hotel

Bringing the flavor of traditional Europe to one of North America's most beautiful cities, The Sutton Place Hotel Vancouver, in British Columbia's elegant main metropolis, has perfected the fine art of attention to detail. From the signature river stone massage offered in Le Spa to downtown limousine service and luxuriously appointed accommodations, no need is too small and no request goes unfulfilled. No wonder Fodor's described it as offering the ambience of "an exclusive European guest house."

Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel with great views from 17th floor , room was lovely clean and fresh large bathroom with walk in shower mini bar etc etc ,what you would expect from a 5* hotel , there’s a spa and a pool as well as a coffee shop and a Michelin starred restaurant on the ground floor, there is a buffet breakfast which I thought was a bit overpriced the hotel is situated in a very vibrant part of the city with lots of shops pubs restaurants ,great location for a short stay

Hotel was great

The hotel was beautiful, the staff very nice and helpful. The bed and pillows were luxurious. We did have leftover soap in the bathroom, so the sent housekeeping in the clean the entire bathroom. The restaurant food was perfect.

Excellent

Plenty of towels, nice shower, safe in the room, also an iron and ironing board. There are several places to eat nearby. friendly and very helpful staff. very nice room. There are 3 washers and dryers on the premises for guests at a reasonable charge. The pool and hot tub were nice. FYI: There were a few things that are not uncommon in high end hotels in a city. The in room drinks and snacks are very expensive. The refrigerator only had room for the hotel's drinks that you have to purchase to drink them. No free in room coffee. No microwave. It was still a great hotel in a good location.

5* stay with the most comfortable beds ever.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

5* service, staff and rooms. We stopped 2 nights before meeting our ship and 2 nights after disembarking. 1st room was comfortable with 2 double beds, fab coffee machine and a fantastic bathroom, with the nicest body lotion, shampoo and conditioner ever. The second stay we asked if we could have a room with one bed so we could have a little more floor space. Usman, excelled at this moment. We were given an apartment with fully fitted kitchen, separate bedroom and living area! It made such a difference, as we could stay in and eat s we were shattered. The hotel is in a great location, we walked to Granville market in about 30mins, it has a fully stocked supermarket a minute away, the waterfront is a 10min stroll, which then leads you to beautiful green walks around Stanley park. The hotel also has vouchers for discount Grouse Mountain cable car, and gave us details of the free shuttle bus, that left from the waterfront. I’d highly recommend staying here, the staff were fantastic and there’s a great choice of restaurants close by.

Good hotel

Lovely hotel, ideally placed. Staff very friendly, although they could advise you on check in that you need your room key to activate the levels in the lift. Was also surprised at the $600 security deposit on check in and thought it was very excessive.

We stayed 5 nights at the Sutton Place Vancouver. The suite was very nice and the staff very professional. Spa treatments were very good. Afternoon tea, which was included in the package, was wonderful. Although we typically do not eat at hotel restaurants, the package included dinner and it too was excellent. It doesn’t get much better than Sutton Place.
