Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal

I stayed at Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal and unfortunately lost my AirPods during my visit. I tracked them using Apple’s Find My app, which showed they were last located in the hotel for several days after my departure. I contacted the reception multiple times with specific times and locations within the hotel, but received vague or no follow-up responses. Despite the clear tracking data showing the AirPods remained in the hotel for an extended period—even being opened and charged—there was no sincere effort from the staff to assist or investigate the matter properly. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of transparency and responsibility shown by the staff. A four-star hotel should have better customer care, especially when it comes to lost property. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

Liked · At my request the hotel arranged a private pick up water taxi from the airport, this went exactly to plan, and exceeded our expecations, such a lovely start. Upon check in, we were given a free upgrade to a suite, a very generous touch. The hotels location is second to none, right in the heart of San marco sat on the edge of the Grand Canal. Yet the hotel still has a peaceful and quiet feel to it when inside. The hotel restuarant was excellent, great service and quality of food, and the setting right on the canal made it super special. Extremely friendly staff, the concierge to the waiters, all professional and welcoming. I would most definitely be reutrning to this hotel when visting Vence again. Thank you for making a weekend break so memorable.

I cannot say enough great things about the customer service at this hotel. Our flight had been delayed significantly and we therefore lost our connection into Venice. That experience was stressful enough but then we were worried about how to get to our hotel. I sent a message via WhatsApp and the hotel immediately called me. They assured me that my transfer to the hotel could be changed to the new flight arrival time and that someone would be waiting for us in arrivals. The concierge was great at setting my kind at easy. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location, the rooms are tastefully decorated, comfortable and the morning breakfast was perfect. They arranged to have the two rooms booked close to each other so that our older kids were not to far from us. I was a little worried reserving a hotel with a brand I wasn’t familiar with but I can say with 100% certainty, that when return to Venice we will stay here.

First time at this hotel. Excellent position on the Grand Canal with terrace restaurant as well. Very comfortable. Some great art on the walls. Staff were very pleasant and helpful in every aspect. Gianluca in the bar was a superstar 😄. They also have an excellent function room for large events.

“Making beautiful memories at the monaco”I have just returned from my 60th birthday trip in Venice ,returning to the monaco was like returning to my Italian family in Venice,seeing the wonderful friendly caring staff ,brought back my memories of my last stay in this beautiful hotel,being a vulnerable disabled quest in a motorized wheelchair when many problems arose in Venice regarding my motorized wheelchair the staff stepped in & dealt with everything,they calmed me down & cared for me ,the male staff in reception all the ladies in reception helped me ,the concierge,the lovely helpful hotel porters,& restaurant staff & management ,you are all doing a wonderful job ,well done management in providing a excellent 5star team ,unfortunately I could not stay in this beautiful hotel as there were no rooms available,but again they helped me when there was a problem with my private “motoscafi “water taxi ,due to Aqua Alta “high tide flooding”they let my accessible boat carrying my wheelchair dock at the hotels private landing dock,& a helpful friendly porter assisted me to the hotel next door,the Monaco is a excellent hotel if you are disabled in a wheelchair or have mobility issues,the lifts are wide the beautiful gold leaf room is wheelchair accessible,all areas of the hotel are fully accessible,&the attentive staff are ready to help you if you have any problems,also the beautiful grand canal restraunt is accessible,it’s amazing with views of the beautiful Santa Maria Della salute church ,where I spent my birthday all day having lunch & a beautiful 60th birthday dinner ,the food is excellent,then a surprise Buon Compleanno birthday plate,”please stay at this wonderful hotel &make beautiful memories which I have,to all the staff ,you made my 60th birthday amazing,”TANTO AMORE ,BACI ANGELINA,x
