Staff should provide more clear information regarding opening your windows and the risk of letting mosquitoes in

Our first night was rough the AC was not on so we opened the windows and got eaten alive by mosquitoes. The hotel only had a limited number of fans we were up until 3am. They moved us to another room on the first floor that was cooler and much nicer.

The room was advertised to have AC and what you pay I'd expect at least a ceiling fan but nope to both. The AC was locked out and only available during certain months but not advertised this way. It's located a ways from everything so it's peaceful but keep this in mind if you have bags or want to stop in during the day as you roam the city. The bathroom is not old person compliant. The tub is very high to step in and the floor crazy slippery getting out (even with a towel down). The shower once in the tub is great just a risky process getting in and out.

The hotel is located in a quiet area of ​​the Cannaregio district, right on the canal. The vaporetto stop is a few steps from the hotel. Its location, interior design and beautiful garden offer a truly relaxing stay. The friendly and professional staff are very willing to fulfill your every wish.

We stayed here for a few days as part of our honeymoon. I’d say - book with confidence! This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The decor, whilst in keeping with the Venetian style, is absolutely stunning and felt more stylish than some of the other hotels we looked at. The lobby is beautiful, and smells amazing. Everything is spotlessly clean, and we had the best nights sleep we’d had in ages. The staff were attentive and made sure we had a lovely time. The breakfast was great, and the little bar was such a welcome moment at the end of a busy day of sightseeing… We had gorgeous cocktails and relaxed into our evening. The garden is absolutely wonderful - I think quite rare to come across in Venice? There were little seating areas throughout where we spent a sunny afternoon with a glass of wine and our books, to escape the hustle and bustle of our city break for a moment! The hotel has a private jetty at the end of the garden which gave the hotel a truly luxurious feel. Location wise, we wanted to be a little out of the chaos, but everything we wanted to see was in walking distance/easy to get to via water taxi. We actually preferred the location of the hotel for evening meals as the restaurants close by felt authentic and romantic, as opposed to the crowded spots downtown. We would absolutely stay again and will be recommending this hotel confidently.
