Staff were incredible, great hotel in a great location. Located equidistant between St Marks square and the Rialto district (10 min walk) with a water bus stop outside if required. Food and service were faultless. Rooms were high standard very clean and very well serviced.

World class, first class impeccable service. The staff here cannot do enough for their guests. This was a truly exceptional experience. The hotel is lovely and stylishly designed by Phillip Starck. Exquisite and interesting interiors. Highest quality amenities, sheets, towels and furniture. The included breakfast is generous a fine dining experience. A beautiful hotel for the perfect stay in Venice. Great location and yet far enough away from the overcrowded Rialto and San Marco Square, which are pleasant short walks away. We selected this hotel to celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary and it was exactly the perfect choice in every way. The manager could not not have been better and the same can be said for every staff person. They checked in to make sure everything was to our liking and if we needed anything. Great recommendations for outside dining to sites. They are exceptionally well trained to cater to their clientele. Big kudos to Irene at the desk who was extremely helpful not only during our stay but in the months leading up in answering my multi emails. Also special thanks to Michaela in the restaurant who was so attentive and service oriented for our breakfast. He knew our names from the start and our preferences for breakfast on day two. He added special touches to our already luxury perfect stay. Highly recommend this hotel. Grazie mille!

We have been coming to this hotel in Venice since 2012. Designed by a good friend, the hotel practices what the design intent was in this magical city. The staff has not changed much and they remember your name. It is like home away from home.

Pros: nice decoration, hotel on a human scale, very good service, pdj Ok, the calm. Negative points: our stay was greatly marred by the poor quality of the bedding in room 112 unacceptable at this price level, we are used to frequenting high-end hotels and have never slept as badly as in your hotel; mattress much too soft and uncomfortable: when I turned around my partner was systematically awake; the mattress provided no support; Because of this, it is neither possible to return to your establishment nor recommending it.

Service was great, breakfast is delicious and included, and very generous. Room decor is very cool and there is always a treat every night (chocolate, a rose, biscuits etc) but rooms have windows covered by thick curtains and mirrors. It’s difficult to get any light in as the rooms faced walls (as often is the case in Venice) but it’s possible to open them to get some air in.
