At the exclusive Relais Paradiso, discover the meaning of la dolce vita. Lying along Italy's Amalfi Coast in the town of Vietri sul Mare, the hotel has a pied-à-terre flair, with accommodations taking on the feel of an exotic hideaway with all the benefits of a luxe resort. The exterior, with its mid-century overtones, beautifully accompanies the 22 modernly minimalist rooms and suites. Warm honey-hued wooden floors, beds cloaked in crisp linens, cream-colored furnishings and bold splashes of color make for a enchanting stay. Each room has its own Juliet-style terrace, and a handful contain seductive circular beds. All are decked out with cutting-edge amenities including wireless internet access, iPods with docking stations, and freshly cut flowers.

Stayed for five days in summer. After a repeated problem with a persistent smell in the room, we were upgraded to a better room and the hotel sent beautiful fresh fruit and wine as compensation. The pool is great. Distance to Vietri is fine for long ish walk or the shuttle bus. (Public transport exists but is very inconsistent). The service is the best thing about the hotel; friendly, welcoming, eager to help and personal. We were sad to leave after our stay ended!

It’s a short walk from Vietri, but taxis, shuttle bus, or even scooter hire make it very easy to get about. Certainly worth being out of the town. It’s sat on a very pretty hill, amazing views. And staff are all attentive, helpful and extremely knowledgeable and good at their jobs. Rooms clean, showers strong. Everything working as it should.

I wish I could write a good review, the staff especially the 2 female receptionist were attentive and lovely. Let’s start with the positive as I said the staff are friendly and super helpful. The pool and terrace were lovely with nice views and it was fairly quiet and relaxing around the pool. The Amalfi coast is stunning but super busy- so be prepared! We wanted to travel and see more of the area so weren’t put off with the “out of town location”, in fact we seen this as a positive as we thought it would be quiet away from the busy town centre. For this reason and our desire to travel we hired a car and the hotel had free parking. The driving is challenging but not horrendous. Unfortunately that’s where the good stuff ends! While the views were nice the location very chilled during the day, at night it was very different! The hotel was next to a villa where 5 out of 6 nights they partied well after midnight with the worst karaoke crappy music they could hear. We complained and were fobbed of with pleasantries and a bottle of cheep wine. We came for a relaxing holiday and it was more like Benidorm ! Showers run hot and cold, water drained away far too slowly implying drains were clogged. Breakfast inadequate, this is my 3 Italian trip this year and it was simply not good at all. The WiFi was just crap. Room without a see view means you'll see is a brick wall below ground level. The bed was hard and lumpy, pillows hard and also lumpy. Don’t order a toastie- it’s inedible- although the chip were decent Definitely fails to meet the 5 star claim. But - the staff were lovely!

Our stay at this beautiful hotel in Vietri sul Mare was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They weren’t just friendly and professional, they genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. They took care of everything, from organising our excursions to handling our car, which meant we could fully relax and enjoy every moment without any hassle. The highlight of our stay was our incredible room. With both an indoor and outdoor jacuzzi and six loungers just for the two of us, it felt like our own private spa retreat. The level of service, the attention to detail and the lovely setting all came together to create an experience we’ll never forget. Huge thanks to the amazing staff, you made our trip so special. We’re already looking forward to coming back and wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, pampered escape on the Amalfi Coast. See you soon, thanks

The only redeeming features are the rooms (barely) the view and the free breakfast. Everything else about it has lots of room for improvement. €160 taxi to the airport, each way. Ridiculous Inconsistently made cocktails, sometimes the same cocktails will be great and sometimes awful. Food is overpriced. Walking anywhere is dangerous and on mountain roads with no footpath. Our room had broken shower. Room service would forget to leave new towels etc. I would never stay here again and would never recommend it. Oh and a massage costs €130!!!!!!!!!!!
