Absolutely top notch service, from the moment you walk in with knowledgeable front desk staff, to the warm greeting by Hicham at the restaurant & bar, to the classy service by Senite and the extra-mile customer service from Markos at the front door, not to forget my driver, he was exceptionally kind. Food was spectacular. Location is ideal. The soaking tub in my room made it all melt into a delicious experience... Seriously. Book this place! Simply put, it was exquisite.

The Brand is consistent throughout, I have frequented Dogon's restaurant and the service is impeccable! So decided to do a staycation and reserve a room and spa services. The Salamander DC did not disappoint... The staff are very professional, warm and you feel like royalty throughout your experience. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Amazing hotel for our family visit to dc. A+ service, location, quality, value. Jeremy E was extremely helpful at the front desk. Helped us every time he saw us coming in or going out. Hotel amazing for families, they have contential breakfast at $35 for adults, free for my kids. Free water bottles everywhere like at the gym, spa, pool to take. Water, juice and coffee in the lobby for free in the morning. No penny pinching, very nice for us and kids! Rooms nice and clean, modern shared spaces, and location is walkable to everything. 100% recommended!

My sister and I recently stayed at the Salamander DC, and the experience was exceptional from the moment we arrived. The service is what truly sets this property apart. As soon as we pulled into valet, the staff was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. They immediately opened doors, helped with our luggage, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. That level of hospitality continued throughout the entire stay. Jeremy at the front desk was absolutely outstanding. As an American Express Platinum member, I was eligible for an upgrade, but Jeremy went far beyond what I expected. He personally escorted us upstairs to view two different suite options so we could choose the one we preferred. That level of care and personalization was impressive. We ended up upgrading from a double queen room with a water view into a beautiful suite with a king bedroom, a separate living room with a queen sofa bed, a balcony, a full bathroom plus a powder room, and an overall layout that felt luxurious and spacious. The suite was stunning. We also dined at Dogon, where we had made reservations about a month in advance, and the entire experience felt seamless from start to finish. The hotel itself smells amazing when you walk into the lobby, the atmosphere feels refined and calming, and every staff member we encountered was friendly and polished. I travel frequently and have stayed at many luxury hotels, including newer properties like the Omni Boston, which may have more modern rooms, but the Salamander absolutely outshines them when it comes to customer service and hospitality. Jeremy especially stood out because he clearly knew returning guests, greeted people warmly throughout the hotel, and genuinely cared about everyone’s experience. He creates the kind of atmosphere that makes people want to come back. The only area I think could use improvement is the pillows. For a hotel at this level, I expected more plush and supportive bedding pillows similar to what you’d find at Marriott luxury properties, Omni, or Andaz hotels. That said, this was still an outstanding stay overall, and I would absolutely return. The Salamander DC understands hospitality at a very high level.

Not up to the standards of our stay at previously booked luxury link hotels. No in room coffee bar, no mini bar, blamed everything on Covid, and they were a new hotel, we would not stay there again. Definitely not 5 star, location good, no ice maker you had to call for it.
