Oge House - Inn on the Riverwalk
2025 First Avenue Suite 450
Seattle, Washington

So disappointed. We stayed at the Carriage house 2nd floor and had high expectations because of the price per room and the pictures on the website. It did NOT live up to our expectations nor the pictures. The house is old and poorly maintained, not to mention, dirty. We even found a pile of dead ants in the kitchen. The furniture is worn and the mattresses are uncomfortable. It was awesome to have our own pool and the jacuzzi warmed up nicely but there was not enough patio furniture and that too, was worn out and dirty. The stair going up the 2nd floor was an outright hazard. Communication with the owner was not pleasant.

Staying in a house and a room surrounded by the finest things that are pleasing to see definitely lift one’s mood, bring forth good feelings and make lovely memories that would be reminisced. My husband and I are both delighted with the Oge House, its grounds, high-ceilinged foyer, lit glass shelves at the top or bottom of the stairs, its Elder room and its ambience! The Oge House’ s proximity to the River Walk is a plus. We just wish that an extra soap for the shower is provided in case we need it for our three-night stay.

This was one of the worst hotel / B&B experiences I have ever had. I rarely leave reviews but I felt an obligation to anybody considering a stay here. I'll start with the positives: the house was very nice, with a beautiful location right on the riverwalk. Unfortunately, every interaction we had with the owner was unpleasant and unprofessional. He talked over me, never letting me finish a sentence, and when my son stood up for me he said “you are being very rude.” He reprimanded us and treated us like children instead of guests when we made reasonable requests, threatening to keep property we left in the room after we raised these concerns with him. I can not in good conscience recommend staying here or at any other property owned by Noble Inns.

This inn is in poor condition and lacking in upkeep and luxury touches to make it a real vacation spot. I called right after I booked to ask about the room and was told it overlooked the garden but it overlooked the parking lot. The front and back porches are so dirty that you didn't want to sit on the furniture. There was a broken urn laying in the back yard and the grounds are not what is advertised on the website. There were trip hazards all around the property, too. The inside was also misrepresented on the website and the property described here on Trip Advisor is not at all what I found when I went there a few weeks ago. And the smell of the place was horrendous! The bedside lamp was a broken fire hazard. The bed was lumpy, the pillows were flat from overuse, the linens were scratchy and the towels were rough. The chairs in the room were worn and warning - the sink is in the bedroom. The window sills and glass were filthy. The customer service was atrocious. I left something in the room and they basically told me it was my own fault, and that I should have called them the day before if I was truly missing it.

This was the worse place to stay. The OGE house was nasty with dust, mold, and ants. The dust was so thick, when you walk on the floors it would leave shoe prints. ANTS all over the kitchen, and Don Noble said to go to store and buy ant spray. We rented the whole house and he would just walk in whenever he wanted to. The kids complained about a strange man walking around the house in the yard during the day and night. It was almost like he was stalking us. The kids were creeped out. I have pictures of the thick dust in kitchen cabinets, I was able to write my name in the dust. If anyone wants to see the pictures, email me. Aj136123@gmail.com
