OUTRIGGER Maldives Maafushivaru Resort

It was my first time going to the Maldives. Of the many hotels available, we chose Outrigger because the house reef was beautiful, it had a bathtub, and it had a pool. We stayed for 6 days. It was all-inclusive and all of our restaurant times were planned for the day we arrived. The sea was beautiful every day, and the staff were very kind and always smiling. The food at all the restaurants was delicious and we were full to the brim. I joined a tour to see manta rays and whale sharks. I saw four manta rays. Unfortunately, I didn't see any whale sharks, but I was able to snorkel. We had a lot of fun every day. Thank you!

3nd visit. Fabulous island and staff. Couldn't have gone to anywhere better. Lots to do. Fabulous food. Beautiful scenery. Perfect.

We just got home after a week's stay at Outrigger,it was truly paradise,from the moment we landed with the seaplane,it was an incredible experience.The food,the bar,the spa,the staff were all fantastic,a place to come and totally relax,it was hard to believe we were there at times.Every member of staff were so friendly,helpful and welcoming,too many to name but here's a few,Nabeel our amazing butler,Aminal in Koffee and Chill,Channel,Victoria,every single one we met.The chefs,bar staff,brilliant.The beaches,quiet,the turquoise sea,inviting,the wildlife,amazing.Fruit bats in the trees at dusk,baby black tip sharks,dolphins,turtles,rays and all the species of beautiful fish.We went as a party of 5 adults who all had life changing experiences especially our daughter Kerry who was proposed to on the beach at sunset by her partner Chris,beautiful moment.The rooms and facilities were first class.I have nothing to say but good things about this amazing place. My experience in the hotel. I am very satisfied with the attitude of everyone in this resort and most of the staffs will show their are beautiful smile to guests and they patiently answer guests surrounding attractions area and best location to take pictures, especially breakfast and dinner selection. has a handsome waiter called Saalim, his perfume smells is pretty good. also the bartender he makes very good especially martini to me. Wow the taste is awesome. And all chefs team make the good presentation for food. Taste is yummy , can make my stomach happy and I can take good picture. Just one thing have to improve if they add live band music. it will be fantastic.

It was an outstanding experience, we stayed with my adult daughter for 5 days, we LOVED that the island was smaller and so easily walked instead of biking or golf carts, out overwater villa, had an amazing breeze with both sides of the room opening up… we felt like we were on a boat, LOVED that this resort had its own reef with snorkeling right there off the dock instead of taking a boat trip out 🙏 All the staff were incredible, remembered our names everywhere we went!!! My daughter’s dream came true when we went on a manta ray excursion, she got to swim with her favorite creatures in the wild!!! Food was incredible… would highly recommend this resort!!!!
