Bluefields Bay Villas

This experience was next level all the way. From reception to departure this was satisfaction of the highest order. An experience l will never forget. The Bluefields Bay beach resort is in a class all by itself. Nestled in the lush botanical garden-like greenery just several feet from the meticulously manicured private beach front, are the well appointed villas. Named after the tropical Jamaican spices, l stayed in the magnificent “Pimento villa “. With its king sized canopy style bed, indoor-outdoor bathrooms and lanai with luxurious soaking tub overlooking the majestic Caribbean Sea. There is no doubt, “this was heaven”. The luscious, fluffy pillows and fresh linens coupled with the gentle ocean waves and breeze made for a night of relaxation and deep restful sleep. The sunrise from the bedroom and lanai was amazing and the aroma of freshly brewed Blue Mountain coffee at my door was a welcoming start to each morning. Oh! How could l forget the island cuisine. From the most rudimentary to the most refined palate, every morsel of every dish was a taste of pure enchantment. Delicious, yum! yum! All the chefs were amazing but chef Shamrakaye was exceptional. Her chief steward Janel was also very attentive and the entire staff and beach crew were second to none. This whole experience was elevated by the attentiveness of our gracious host, architect, designer and owner of this magnificent resort , Debbie. She graciously joined us at mealtimes, updating us on all the facility had to offer and my darling wife and l enjoyed every minute of it. I am already planning my return and you guessed it, l most certainly will be staying at the Pimento villa hoping that Shamrakaye will be our chef. This is one of my favorite vacations of all time. To start it’s a great and smooth experience when you arrive, they brought us drinks to start our vacation, and they helped you settle in. The food was made beautifully, and they asked you the night before what you wanted for dinner, lunch, and breakfast, they even had a kids option. Then it’s chill when you wake up, you can watch the sunrise, go down to the beach, swim in the pool, grab a drink, or go kayaking and so much more. There is also a really nice staff and service, super friendly, super hospitable, and there are Nannies to help with kids when parents just want to so something together separate from the kids, like the spa. I stayed at the Hermitage villa which is really nice and to recommend for families. Thanks to blue fields bay for the wonderful vacation.

From the moment you arrive at Bluefields you are met with the kindest and friendliest staff I've encountered. The villa we stayed at was fantastic and the bed was super comfortable. The beach, which feels private, is clean and the staff is ready to serve whatever drink you want. The food was spectacular and the staff will cater to whatever allergies or preferences you want. Highly recommend Bluefield Bay Villas and I will definitely be back!

My wife and I went to Bluefields after years of contemplating a visit. We were celebrating our anniversary so we wanted a smaller place where we were treated special. WOW were we treated special. From airport to check-in to our amazing room. The food was absolutely incredible. The tableware, the service, the location overlooking the ocean, and food was second to none. The Suites are spacious and gorgeous. It was quiet and romantic and relaxing. The staff incredible. We even met the owners and Debbie made a special visit to see us during our anniversary dinner. We had to leave 2 days early and the team was so caring and accomodating. We are planning to come back in 2026 as we speak. Wonderful place and staff and food. Very unique. THANK YOU TEAM! Such a beautiful place to stay. The stunning scenery, delicious food, warm hospitality, and high quality services...... So relaxing and happy! A wonderful trip with great experiences. We enjoyed every moment there and look forward to going back again.
