I knew we were in the right place after AA losing our luggage, arriving late and being met by 3 staff to put a smile on our faces; we walk into a beautiful living room/dining room, view of the ocean and the swimming pool and my wife asking when will we see our Villa and the staff said, 'You are in your Villa!'...my wife smiled the rest of the trip. Amazing Villa, Amazing Staff, everything we could have hoped for!

From the moment we arrived, we were absolutely blown away. The staff at this resort were some of the kindest, most attentive people we’ve ever met—genuinely warm, thoughtful, and always one step ahead in making sure we were comfortable and cared for. The views were stunning—everywhere we turned we felt like we were in a postcard! Our room had the most beautiful balcony, complete with a private outdoor soaking tub for two. Every morning when we walked to the private restaurant, we’d watch hummingbirds and butterflies drift through the lush, vibrant flora. It felt like something out of a dream. As plant lovers, we couldn’t stop ooh-ing and awe-ing over all of the beautiful plants surrounding the resort! Everything about this place was romantic, peaceful, and unforgettable. The attention to detail, the delicious meals!, the natural beauty, the sense of privacy and serenity—it was hands down the best vacation we’ve ever taken. We left already dreaming about coming back. If you’re looking for a romantic escape with heart, beauty, and soul, this is it.

Everything spectacular. This was our 3rd visit to bluefields. We have stayed in the providence and the hermitage now 2 times. Both houses are beyond beautiful. Dwayne is amazing, kind and always smiling. Makes the best smoothies! the girls who helped plan all our adventures were fantastic, arranged all our trips, even around weather. Brought in a hair braider and fantastic masseuse. Food was delicious! We had 7 of us and even two 19 year old boys who can eat and they always made sure they were full…after the first day they started adding more just for them. My daughter is gluten free and she always had an option and things were prepared for her, even gluten free fried chicken! Our night butler made the kids delicious grilled cheeses and he always made sure I had orange juice in the very early mornings.

It was an amazing experience - great staff, beautiful location, 10/10. The water activities were fun, all the drinks delicious. Suite (villa) itself was gorgeous - right by the water and with an outside tub - a nighttime bath is a must. Absolutely would love to go back!

We stayed in the Datura Villa, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of Bluefields Bay and the Caribbean Sea beyond. The villa itself is immaculate and beautifully appointed—filled with the most fascinating collection of books and globally sourced décor that made it feel both luxurious and wonderfully homey. Every corner felt designed with intention and care. Our housekeeper, Stephanie, deserves special mention. Her bright smile greeted us each morning, and she ensured my 6:30 a.m. coffee was waiting just outside the door—a small detail that captured the thoughtfulness woven into every part of the experience. The evening turndown service was impeccable, and the villa remained spotless throughout our stay. Dining was another highlight I’ll never forget. The Treehouse Restaurant is intimate, serene, and perfectly set up for lingering over unforgettable meals. As you enter, you’re greeted by elegant cabinets showcasing a stunning collection of fine china—which is used for every meal and elevates the entire experience. Watching the sunsets from our dinner table felt like something out of a dream. Chef Shelly-Ann and Chef Shay created some of the most delicious meals I’ve ever had on vacation—fresh, beautifully presented, and tailored to our tastes. I loved the personal touch of choosing the next day’s menu, knowing it would be prepared just for us. Our butler, Tevan, was exceptional—gracious, attentive, and always ready to make each moment feel special. The grounds themselves are spectacular. The beach is pristine, the water is cool and refreshing, and the entire property feels secluded yet welcoming. I also had the chance to tour some of the other villas, each more breathtaking than the last—though the San Michele and Hermitage captured my heart with its elegance and sweeping views. Bluefields Bay is not just a place to stay—it is an experience that stays with you long after you leave. I’ve visited many luxury properties across the island, and none have come close to the combination of natural beauty, thoughtful design, and heartfelt hospitality I found here.
