Bluefields Bay Villas

Our family of four stayed at Cottonwood Cottage for a week. Everything was excellent from start to finish. Our kids (4 and 7) loved our nanny, who gave us some much-needed relaxation. The food was exceptional, particularly the lobster pasta and catch-of-the-day seafood options. We also got to experience the local area and culture with hikes through the surrounding village, visiting a farm, and taking a trip to Black River and YS Falls (the crocodile feeding on our river tour was particularly memorable). The entire staff made us feel welcome and we all had a great time on our vacation to Bluefields.

Our experience at Bluefields Bay villas was amazing. From the time we were picked up and taken to the resort and greeted with drinks and taken on a tour of the villa until the time we left, everything was amazing. We stayed at the Providence house and had the upstairs bedroom with sets of French doors that open to the Caribbean Sea. The colonial three poster bed was quaintly covered with mosquito netting to prevent bites during the night. The service was amazing. Our Chef Viane greeted us and confirmed our all of the meals on a daily basis we would be having and made small tweaks along the way. They provided three meals per day, tasty hors d’oeuvres, and our butler. Jovani served exquisite drinks. They catered to all of our needs. The tables were elegantly decorated with fine china, silverware, candles and flowers. We were very private and did not actually see other guests besides our party of 6. The beach was private as well as the pool and family room. The villa was kept very clean by housekeeper Tamara, including laundry and turndown service daily. It was such a quaint setting!! I highly recommend and will return!!

Great stay at Milestone Cottage. Food, staff and service were amazing. Marvin, Sammy and Thermogene truly went above and beyond. The care for which each guest is treated shines thru. We were provided items before we even knew we needed them. Highly recommend if you are looking for a low-key all inclusive vacation where you are treated like family..

My brief trip to Bluefields villas was clearly not long enough. It was most relaxing, we never needed to go anywhere else, although the short hike up the mountain was a good one and the view made it worth the effort. The time with family at the beach and playing board and card games was memorable. The excellent fresh food, at all meals, was well prepared, varied, and served at lovely table settings by gracious staff members. It's hard to single out one thing but the fish was the best. All of the staff were conscientious, friendly and nice to be around.

We recently returned from a spring break trip to Bluefields with our three children (a tween and two teens).  It was an absolutely amazing and unique experience and we highly recommend visitng.  First, we want to say Bluefields has recovered almost entirely (and by now, maybe entirely) from the hurricane.  The damaged structures at the main property have been entirely restored to an amazing troical grandeur.  And it truly is a grand place, from the buildings to the furnishings to the silver service to the libraries. Bluefields is like no other place we've been. Second, Bluefields is the most relaxing vacation we have ever experienced.  Every detail is taken care of for you.  The food truly is incredible.  Every meal is fantastic and the fish dishes are some of the very best we've had anywhere.  Eric Ripert would do well to hire their whole crew!  Third, and most important, the staff could not be kinder or more professional, even as many are still recovering from the storm.  The attention we received was generous and friendly and comfortable.  If you enjoy mornings on the beach and afternoons by the pool (and activities as you with), with every need taken care of for you, then we strongly encourage you to visit Bluefields.  We are looking forward to our return.
