Fantastic experience! The food was great! It beat our expectations. Plenty of options. Our favorite was Oceana followed by Portofino. The breakfast at World Cafe has something for everybody. The highlight was the service at the beach/pool. Ask for Gabriel, he is a real pro and made us feel welcome. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If something is not perfect, they will make it happen. Jonathan and Anna-Minnesota. USA

We recently stayed at this resort and had a generally positive experience, although there were a few areas that could use some attention. Firstly, the resort itself is quite lovely, but we found the rooms to be slightly dated. They were spacious and mostly clean, which was a plus. However, noise was an issue due to the adjoining rooms — we could hear conversations quite clearly, which impacted the overall comfort of our stay. The food at the resort was decent overall, with a standout experience at the French restaurant, where the service was incredible and the food truly delicious. Most of the dining experiences were enjoyable, thanks to the attentive staff. A special mention goes to the pool service provided by Humberto and Rufo, who were outstanding and made our time by the pool very relaxing. Activities by the pool were great and they have a wonderful team of members who organize it. They were all wonderful but would like to acknowledge John and Manuel for their efforts. While cleanliness could be improved in some areas of the resort, I noticed they are currently undergoing construction to enhance the facilities, which is a positive step towards improving guest experiences. Our children absolutely loved the Explorers Club, and I want to extend our thanks to Andy, Pao, Clau, Tomy, Sandy, and Reyna for their caring and engaging approach to the kids—your efforts were greatly appreciated! Lastly, the lobby bar was a great spot for winding down, with wonderful servers who provided excellent service. Overall, this resort has a lot to offer, and I believe that with some continued improvements, it could provide an even better experience for future guests.

We had a great time until checkout. We were not told we must checkout before leaving. We are use to leaving keys in the room and going when credit cards are on file. We were never told we needed to check out at any point of our stay. We called our uber it arrived you are made to walk to your uber at the gate with your luggage over a cobblestone drive so very difficult for disabled or aging people. We started to leave and the security said where is your ticket we said what ticket to leave. We said we don’t have one and he said you have to go check out. In a line. Ugh! We said no our uber is here and we are leaving. He called security at the gate and they were trying to get in front of us and one blocked the gate. I said don’t touch me and don’t hold me hostage we have already paid. They wouldn’t let us out until another security guard ran and told them let them go. I tried to call to talk to a manager several times and was always put on hold forever. We were planning our next trip back but will never return to this poorly tan resort who does not put their guests first. I’ve never had an experience like this. I was a reck the entire flight home. Hyatt you need to do better by your guests!

The resort as a whole was beautiful. My only complaint would be that after a mix-up at the Premier club at check-in, I felt the staff/ gentleman that checked us in was dismissive and borderline rude when we would return for drinks, etc.
