This family-friendly all-inclusive resort does offer a Kids Club and a Teens Club if traveling with children, and several adults-only areas to ensure you enjoy your vacation as much as possible. Each suite at this resort offers sweeping views of the ocean and spacious terraces, along with 24-hour room service and multiple decadent amenities.

This was our 2nd time visiting and this time we brought our whole family and it was as great as the first visit. The service, food, and amenities are top notch. Christian was a great concierge and accommodated all of our requests for the entire family of 18.

This was our third stay at this resort, and our 12th stay at a Grand Velas resort. Grand Velas Los Cabos is an excellent all-inclusive resort with very nice pools and hot tubs. The service around the pool was perfect this trip, the best we have had. Even though it got busy on some days, the pool servers were fast, friendly and anticipatory. Very impressed. No problems getting loungers at all, no matter the time of day. My kids love the pools and hot tubs here. As always, the Teens club and kids club are brilliant - best in class hours (easy to drop in and out) and very friendly staff. This is what keeps us coming back - happy kids, happy parents. The hotel has always been very accommodating with our room requests, and this stay was no exception and we were very happy with our room. Housekeeping was excellent and timely every day, arriving exactly as we had requested. Our personal concierge this time wasn't so great unfortunately - I saw lots of people visited at the pool by theirs (which was our previous experience) but ours never really came by during our week long trip. We'd asked for a special room set up for our sons birthday during the stay, but it didn't happen as promised unfortunately. Not to worry though, it didn't spoil the trip but it was just something notably worse than previous. We might come again in November 2026 - I did however notice that the rates for the 2 bedroom family suite have increased dramatically from previous years (over 50% more than what we paid the last 3 years, previously about 2k, now more than 3k on our dates), disproportionately from the other room types (and now often more than double the cost of booking two separate rooms). This would be what stops us returning, hopefully its just a glitch for this year. The standard rooms have not had the same dramatic rate change. I can highly recommend this resort to any family looking for a luxury, hassle free experience, and appreciates a resort that has warm heated pools and hot tubs.

The resort itself is very beautiful, relaxing, and accommodating with friendly staff. However, The reservation and management team are unwilling to accommodate when things go very wrong. We stayed here almost a year ago and after ongoing communication now getting my final answer, I am finally writing this review. We booked two rooms for a 6 night stay. My father-in-law fell and broke his hip in his hotel room bathroom on the first night resulting in heading to the local hospital the following morning. We ended up checking out of the hotel after the second night, medi-vacing back to our home country, leaving ALL of our luggage behind. Our reservation was booked through a third party, and the initial correspondence of any resolve was held between those two. After talking to both parties myself as well, Grand Velas ultimately had refused to offer any sort of compensation for needing to leave our (not cheap) vacation stay with them. Their policy IS (apparently) no compensation for early checkout out, and even in the event of a medical emergency that happened in their hotel, first triaged by their hotel nurse (sweet lady), getting wheeled out on a stretcher through the entire hotel, the whole staff seeing what was causing us to leave. They offered ZERO compensation for a forced, involuntary, early checkout. I suppose we will be taking our business to neighboring resorts in the future.

This resort was the best we have been to in Mexico. The resort was nice, the food was good but the staff makes it amazing. Ivan at the pool took care of us at the pool everyday and was amazing! Claudia was superb in handling everything else that we requested for the room. The cleaning staff was top notch as well!
