Amazing experience at Grand Velas for our Honeymoon, our concierge Astrid was amazing and very attentive and made each detail of our stay perfect for our celebration. Everyone at the resort is pleasant and goes out of their way to help guests in any way they can. An amazing stay and experience at Grand Velas, we will certainly be coming back!

The Grand Velas is truly immaculate in all facets of the resort. Josue and the rest of the staff were exceptional, along with the facilities themselves. Clean, friendly, and first class is how I would describe this resort, and our kids would as well. We can’t wait to come back and already miss this place just getting back today. Couldn’t recommend this resort enough!

Our family of 6 (Kids were 12, 10, 8 and 8 at the time) had an absolutely fantastic 7-day stay at Grand Velas Cabo! We've traveled extensively in search of the perfect family-friendly all-inclusive resort and we found it at Grand Velas Cabo! The resort is perfectly maintained. The employees are super-friendly. The food is absolutely delicious! In fact, they even have a Michelin Star adults only restaurant on site, but I actually found that the other restaurants were just as good, if not better! Velas 10 (Seafood & Steak Waterfront restaurant) was our favorite. Sen Lin (Asian fusion) was amazing as well. We didn't have a bad meal at all of the onsite restaurants including Azul breakfast and lunch buffet and our favorite lunch was at Cabrilla ceviche restaurant, which our poolside server was able to get for us (above and beyond the regular poolside menu, which was also fantastic). The Kid's Club and Teens' Club were both fantastic. The Teens' Club is available to 10+ with a signed waiver. Our 12 year old was best suited for the Teens' Club activities and our 10 year old spent time in both clubs. The rooms were perfectly maintained, meticulously cleaned, and well stocked every single day. Our Concierge Santiago was fantastic. He made sure our stay was perfect every day and made adjustments to our restaurant and spa appointments as needed. We are just trying to figure out how we can book our next stay at one of the Grand Velas properties!

Honest review of Grand Velas after going to like 5 different brands of all inclusive resorts across mexico, DR and Jamaica (paradisus, garza blanca, hyatt ziva, finest, grand velas) the past few years. It was lovely, but was not 40% better than Garza Blanca for 40% higher charge. I like Garza better for the price. Concierge team pre booking- confused a lot of items, restaurants had to be held via email v. booking tool (in 2026), and generally was slow. On arrival, Daniel was great, and helped us a lot. Have to say, he went above and beyond. Babysitting- good quality but before meeting a sitter, I would prefer to have a name and number given to me. I was often chasing around finding them. Food- tasty. Cocina was fun. Food was not extensively better than Garza which was excellent. Drinks- same well drinks as anywhere, pay for nicer quality- at this price, I expected more. I could not even drink the sweet and cheap prosecco. Rooms- they boast big rooms. fine- but limited suites or what they call suites are actually sometimes just adjoining rooms. At garza I had an amazing 2 bedroom suite with kitchen and laundry, and living space. plus 2 bathrooms at min. Pool service- staff was overwhelmed by spring breakers, which they should have planned for. I imagine upstaffing could help the experience. Also consider a remote ordering system for drinks, servers can still make their tips. Fitness- I did yoga almost every day, loved it with epic views. The gym was nice too. Kids club- also good, had great options and food for kids if needed. Coffee shop was a great treat, snd breakfast tasty. All in all, a fun week but not worth the higher price tag.
