The hotel boasts an impressive array of food options, catering to a wide variety of tastes, and the staff are exceptionally friendly, always eager to fulfill any request with a warm smile. The cleanliness of the hotel is commendable, contributing to a pleasant environment, and there’s no shortage of activities and entertainment. Guests can enjoy engaging shows and events, ensuring that there is always something to keep you entertained. However, it’s worth noting that the air conditioning in most rooms struggles to cope with the intense heat and high humidity typical of the region, which can make for uncomfortable nights. Additionally, the mini-fridges provided in the rooms fail to adequately chill beverages, so don't anticipate enjoying a refreshing cold drink during your stay. The televisions in the rooms are somewhat outdated, and some may not function optimally, which can be frustrating for those hoping to unwind with some downtime entertainment. Moreover, the pool water tends to be on the warm side, so if you’re seeking a refreshing dip, you might be disappointed. The beach area presents its own issues, as the water has a pervasive unpleasant odor and is heavily littered with sargasso seaweed, making it nearly impossible to enjoy a swim in the ocean. Overall, while the hotel offers a vibrant experience, some aspects need improvement for a more enjoyable stay.

This place was amazing. We were worried after some negative reviews we saw, but the only issue we had was the sargassum which is not anyone's fault. The staff here is amazing and we preferred the food to what we have had at a larger, more upscale resort. Breakfast at Blue Water was a favorite and Eduardo there was amazing. Joaquin, Cristell, and Omar at Preferred Pool were so hospitable and attentive. Upgrading to the preferred rooms was worth it to have access to the Blue Water breakfast and check in at Preferred Lounge. We also ate at Preferred Lounge and it was nice and quiet and air conditioned!

The room that I was initially assigned to was completely unacceptable. The hallway outside of the room was being painted and the painters put down drop cloths that I had to walk over. The room number was off the wall, on the floor, and the bellhop couldn’t even locate room until the painter held up the number from the floor. My grandson got paint on his skin and clothing. The beach was covered with seaweed, making it completely non-useable and the entire resort stunk from rotting seaweed! No one could use that beach. We paid for a tropical vacation with beach front access and it was a wasteland.

Overall, one of the best experiences with Dreams in a while. The food quality was good and had flavor. Drinks were mostly good, although the strawberry daiquiri mix seemed to be very artificial (my opinion). I could tell that they were making improvements to the resort as there was painting projects on-going, new gym equipment and new furniture. Staff was friendly and rooms were well maintained and quiet. I would stay here again.

BEST hotel!! The kids club was a highlight for us parents and the kids as it’s open 9am-9pm with so many fun options on the itinerary. My girls wanted to have lunch and dinner daily with the team. They were welcoming, friendly and my 2 girls quickly developed relationships with the team. They take them swimming, to the beach, rock climbing, make braclets, braided their hair, face painting and had wonderful themed nights of camping etc if you want to relax as parents this is your best choice!! Restaurants: all al la carte restaurants are very good with high quality food. These are booked via the hotel APP, The buffet was small but had enough to choose from. The coffee and cake shops are great also included in the all inclusive, the fresh squeezed juices and macaroons became our daily staple. The beach is a lovely stretch but there can be seaweed at times, but they work hard to try keep it clean. There are loungers and umbrellas available. Evening entertainment was good and mostly set over the swimming pool which was lovely. We used uber for outings and felt safe even travelling with 2 small children, We would love to return to this hotel 🩷
