The only flaw I could find with this Dreams in December was that the pools were all very cold. Other than that this place rocks especially the newer Club Level Building. Loved it will be returning.

Had an amazing meal at the Bordeaux restaurant. The food quality was on par with what I would expect from a higher end restaurant. The pièce de résistance though was the service from our waiter Eleuterio. He made my family's night perfect with his positive attitude and going over and above for our table. Thank you to the staff at Bordeaux and thank Eleuterio for being such a wonderful server.

From arrival to departure, the atmosphere was welcoming, the staff were friendly, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. The food and drinks were top quality. The resort is clean and easy to navigate. It feels like a community. Even during the hight of peak season, it never felt crowded or busy. There was plenty to do for the whole family.

The food was excellent and the service was even better! This is the place to be when it’s 20 degrees at home. Couldn’t be happier with this vacation.

From the moment we arrived at Dreams Sapphire, we knew we were going to have an incredible week. The staff was prompt and eager to welcome us and to take us to the preferred lounge to check us in. After ensuring we were comfortable, we were walked through all the facilities. Our rooms weren't quite ready, but we were happy to take in lunch at the buffet and look around. The resort was gorgeous! The pool bar was quite active, and they were hosting social activities there, which were quite frequent. (there was also a nice daily activity schedule posted next to the water park). Once we were able to get into our rooms, we noticed our safe wasn't working. Within ten minutes of phoning, our safe was completely replaced. The service was really top notch! Our room was extremely clean, well maintained and there was no noise spillover from the other rooms. Two things I hadn't seen at a resort before but quickly loved was the cafe, where the ladies were quick to serve the line up of folks looking for an espresso, macchiato , or an iced latte, and the 'free library' they had next to the concierge desk, where you were allowed to take books from. What a great concept! The beach was a bit smaller than we anticipated but still lovely. The loungers were a bit uncomfortable but we got some pads and that certainly helped. We very quickly found our favorite place to hang out... the ocean front beach bar. The team there - Antonio, Jaime and Luis were all incredible. They were extremely friendly and just also had amazing energy. The restaurants... wow, where to start? The buffet was smaller than other resorts but it was a perfect size for us, because there was constant variety. Some of the food was the best I've had. The service was again top notch - Martin, and Omar were absolutely on the ball. Very attentive. Also the grill next to the pool had amazing bar like food - pizza, burgers and their fries were delicious! We went to the teppanyaki restaurant the first full night and the show that was put on was amazing, very entertaining. They had a beautiful sushi boat at the front that we could eat from, and I've been to Japan - this sushi was very comparable!! The next night we made it to the french restaurant, and we initially thought meh, French food... ok, this is a do not miss! It was probably the best a la carte I've ever been to! The French onion soup, the fou grais... just everything was so enjoyable, we didnt want the meal to end. The Italian restaurant was good food, but the service was a bit slow. It was unfortunate, as the young children in our party grew fussy and we couldn't enjoy the meal as much as we had hoped. We went to the bluegrill for lunch one day, and fell in love with the food. Everything was very light and fresh. The nice thing too is that this restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner and both serve a different menu, both excellent. Fernando there makes a very mean margarita. It was hard to decide where to go for our final meal, which happened to be my birthday celebration, but we all knew the French restaurant was our favorite. Jonathan had us initially seated as two tables of four, but then realized it was my birthday and wanted to make it special so he had us move to a more private eight person table. Eleuterio was our server and he made the experience, the meal and my birthday extremely special. It felt like we were the only table there. He was very attentive and even brought out some extra special dishes for us to try, that were off the menu. At the end of the meal, he brought out a chocolate mousse with a candle for me, and another chocolate mousse that said safe travels for the table. It was just a wonderful evening. I think the thing that was the best experience, looking back, was the people who worked there. Whether it was the bartenders, the servers, the social staff, the front desk, Marcael (the lifeguard), Suiri at the waterslides, they all made you feel seen, made you feel that they wanted to ensure that you had a good experience. You could see that the staff working there were happy to work there. It felt like being part of a community, it was wonderful. We were actually sitting on the beach, planning when to come back, we will definetely be returning!!
