Solid solid time at Hilton Cancun.
7 night trip with family of five. Check in was smooth (much improved from last trip here five years ago). Ocean view rooms spectacular. Compact, very walkable resort. Two large infinity pools. Pool on left side of resort has water park and a ton of small children. Pool on the right better for older kids. More peaceful. The resort is unique in that it is built very close to ocean. The pools are right on the ocean. Very minimal beach space but the pool area is right next to ocean. The early bird gets the worm. Most of the better pool deck areas are full by 7:30 am. Service was phenomenal throughout. Food is exceptional. These are restaurants that would do very well in states. Nice dejection of booze. Drinks were spot on but no beer on tap. Cans on ice. Hard to find a cold beer early in the day. Once the beers have a chance to get cold then not so bad especially at lobby bar. Overall a great trip and would definitely come back!
