Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun

We had the most amazing honeymoon at Live Aqua Cancún! The food, atmosphere, and all the staff were incredible. It was so beautiful there and everyone was so nice. We went at a really cool time when we got to celebrate both Halloween and Dia de los Muertos there, which they went all out for. The event staff, especially Ricky, Ludin, Mariana, and Pablo made our trip so special with their amazing daily activities. It was only Pablo's first week working there when we came, but he jumped in and did an amazing job with the activities. They knew us very quickly and always went the extra mile. We will miss them and Live Aqua!

This place was a hidden gem. We have stayed at several hotels in Cancun and this one was the best one yet! Sand, Beach, Great Food and most importantly great service and entertainment, Cental location right across from the mall. Carlos and Arturo our butlers went above and beyond to make sure that we were well taking care of. Ricky Ricardo was a great addition - very entertaining. Highly recommend this place, we will be back soon:)

Live Aqua was an absolute amazing experience! The customer service was phenomenal. Big shout outs to our butlers Maggie & Eladio! They were so informative and communicative. If we needed anything they were there to accommodate everything. Servers at the pool that were a must were: Maria, Francisco, Andres, Elizabeth and If you’re looking for amazing energy and fun instructors Ricky Ricardo is your man, Naomi is an amazing archery guru and bracelet making expert. When it comes to awesome dining experience Alan (Flacco) at Azur, Senor Bubbles at the breakfast buffet Siete, and Carlos Gonzalez at the Sushi station was absolutely AMAZING!!!! The sushi was on point and Carols knew exactly what we wanted.

My wife and I decided to visit Cancun for our 15 year anniversary. After reading many reviews and watching lot of You Tube videos on the best places to stay, we ultimately decided to go to Live Aqua. Our 2 biggest reasons for selecting this resort was the reviews on the food and the pools/beach. We had been to Cancun a couple other times in our marriage, but Live Aqua set the bar higher. It was exactly what we read about and more. First and foremost, the food is spectacular. If you are looking for good food throughout your stay, this is the place to stay. There were many different restaurants with all sorts of cuisines to choose from. The pools are large and spread out. There were pools that were quiet and some that were lively offering daily entertainment. Heiner, the swim-up bar manager, was able to make a custom spicy margarita that was made to order and fantastic. There were options to rent cabanas, but we found it relatively easy to wake up in the morning and find plenty of available seating and day beds that could be used at no charge. I'm no expert on the seaweed situation, but this beach had soft white sands and little to almost no seaweed. The water itself was somewhat rough, but was due to a storm that was East of us, which is out of there control. Despite the rough ocean conditions we still got in and enjoyed the turquoise blue waters. When we booked our stay we also decided to upgrade to Aqua Class, which gave us some perks, including the Aqua Lounge, which was a great meet up point for our group each day. Guillermo I believe was the main bartender there and was very attentive and friendly every time we showed up. The Aqua Class upgrade also included butler service. We were assigned (2) butlers, Eladio and Maggie. I can't speak for the other butlers, but these two made our entire trip special. Both made it a point to come meet us at some point within 24 hours, as they alternated shifts. They helped make restaurant reservations, sent ice to the room as needed, sent daily activity list every morning, checked on us throughout the day, and mid way through our trip they surprised us and brought the staff out for a special Happy Anniversary picture with the staff. If you decide to stay here, see if you can request them upon arrival and check in at the Aqua Lounge. I assure you they won't disappoint. Another great perk of this hotel is the proximity of the hotel to the downtown mall area. On a couple of occasions, we ventured off the property to explore the mall and found tons of great shopping and dining options within just a 5 minute walk. I am not a You Tube vlogger and am certainly no expert, but if you are looking to visit Cancun, I would strongly suggest Live Aqua.

While our vacation at Live Aqua was excellent, it was our concierge/butlers, Isaias and Alex, who truly helped foster a memorable experience. They showed us the highest level of care and kindness during our stay, and made us genuinely feel welcomed. Isaias and Alex, thank you so much for not only for your help, but also making my wife and me feel special each day. We are coming back to Live Aqua because of you!
