Good location with okay rooms. We visited at the end of August, with the AC turned all the way down, the room is still a bit hot especially if you were to shower. Staffs are friendly and helpful As for food. The steak was really good, but everything else was below average due to low quality of the food ingredients as well as the variety of the ingredients. If you want to get dinner at around 8 pm even on a Monday night, there is at least a 90 minutes wait for all restaurants. The taco truck by my apartment has better food than their Mexican cafe. Overall no too good of an experience.

This resort was pleasant surprise. Sometimes when you book stays at resorts you don’t know fully what you’re getting yourself into. However this place is by far one of the nicest most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed at. Everything was on point and the food was absolutely the highlight for me. Everything was delicious. I love the atmosphere of the lobby all the bars and restaurants. So many pools and even a rooftop infinity pool. So gorgeous. I would love to come back and spend even more time here.

The Secrets The Vine Cancun was an overall great experience. The customer service was top notch and the location was close to many shopping and dining options. Keep in mind if you travel in late August, you will see a fair share of seaweed in the ocean. This doesn't detract from the overall view of the ocean but if you plan to go swimming, you will have to make your way through a decent amount of seaweed. The restaurants do not operate with a reservation schedule, it is first come first serve (keep in mind some places to require a certain dress code). You will have plenty of options, but if you are looking for 5 star dining then you may be left a tad disappointed. With that said, the resort has plenty of amenities, from a spa, gym (great view of the ocean!), bars, infinity pools. Lastly, if you are doing any excursions, please ensure you are extra early in the lobby area to await your pick up. We had a terrible experience after booking with MTS in the lobby of the resort where we did not get picked up. The bell hop stated they had not come yet, so we were left under the impression that they had not arrived. Later to find out , our pick up had marked us a "no-show". This would have been helpful to know by the staff that they had come and we were considered late. Despite the concierge's best efforts to contact the booking agency, they were unsuccessful in doing so and as a result, left to contact them on our own (which took almost 2 hours to resolve). Higly recommend pre-booking your excursions or gong through Amstar which is located next to the resort's concierge. All in all, I would recommend this resort with the few qualifiers stated above.

The resort is clean, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. All the pools close at 7 pm Why, people are on vacation? There are no hot tubs, just a cold jet pool. Only one hour of live music daily at the pool. Very little, if any, entertainment is available. We and others discussed the lack of entertainment to the point that people were so bored they just went to bed very early because there was nothing to do. They did go all out for one Fiesta night. Sadly, the food was just okay. We have stayed at several all-inclusives in the past and have been wowed; this was more like a retirement community environment.
