Secret in Cozumel
I made an appointment for the relaxation spa and the hydro-therapy machine was broken and they wanted to charge the same price. The elevator was broken as well and I got lost using the employee elevator. The stairs were boarded up and blocked, unusable, this was a fire hazard and employees kept sending guests in the employee elevator when the sushi restaurant and sky bar were closed. I was dropped off by golf cart upon check-in and my keys did not work, I had to wait for the bellman to arrive with my luggage and let me in. There was a two-hour wait for my safe to be reset. The buffet food was terrible

Resort Needs Updating, but Staff (Especially Leo) is Awesome
The resort itself is outdated and needs significant updating/upgrading. The food was mediocre at best, but that has been our experience with most of the all-inclusive resorts we have been to. Regardless of this, my family and I had a great time. Leo was the highlight of our trip! He got everyone involved in all kinds of fun activities, pushing some of my family members out of their comfort zones and allowing us to meet new people. Each day we looked forward to his events - something we have not done at previous resorts. He made us feel at home and continuously made us laugh! I highly highly recommend going to see Leo!

Not truly “All Inclusive”
Be careful when booking to stay at Secrets. They have preferred & non preferred status which determines if you can use all pools and go to all restaurants or are limited to only a few. It’s not truly “All Inclusive”. The experience is not consistent for guests some people get coupon books & some don’t. Many rooms have issues with the shower faucets or toilets.

Cozumel Secrets Resort review
We just spent the past 8 days there. It is a very beautiful place. The rooms were great. AC was wonderful as was the staff. Especially Sergio and Elizabeth

Beautiful Trip
I had a great time would be 5 starts but the food overall is just mid. Perhaps since it's an island that's as good as it gets? Still a great time.

Truly a five star place - the resort never seemed crowded and maintained a quiet vibe. The food was outstanding at every meal. I would recommend this resort to anyone at any time without blinking. We will definitely return to this resort.
