Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets

We spent three memorable days at Impression Isla Mujeres, and it exceeded our expectations, especially as this was our very first all-inclusive experience. The resort has clearly set a very high bar for any future trips we take. Our room was incredible - We selected the one with a Mayan hot tub and an oceanfront view, and it was worth every bit. Waking up each morning to that breathtaking view of the ocean was simply magical. A big part of what made our trip so special was the exceptional service. Our butlers, Edgar and Vianey, were always communicative, thoughtful, and attentive. We also loved the variety of activities offered at the resort. The candle-making and painting classes led by April were both fun and relaxing. The island biking tour with Issac was another highlight, as it was a great way to explore Isla Mujeres and take in more of its natural beauty. We also had a wonderful and engaging conversation with Franco, who shared fascinating insights about Mexincan culture, adding a meaningful element to our trip. By the end of our stay, we found ourselves wishing we had booked a few more days. we would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful getaway.

We just had the best overall experience of any of the top all inclusive resorts we’ve visited in the Cancun area at Impressions by Secrets Isla Mujeres. As a World of Hyatt Globalist we were able to get room upgrades (based on availability ) to ocean front and the room and views were without a doubt incredible! Sunsets magnificent! We had an issue with the hot water in one of the rooms and Ritik head of the Guest Experience team stepped in and made sure we were taken care of with a room change. Ritik made it a point to check back in with us on regular basis to make sure everything about our stay was the to be the best, we much appreciated this! We cannot say enough about the wonderful staff that made us really feel special and at home every day. Our butlers Angel and Amairani did an outstanding job of making sure our group of 5 had every day planned out perfectly from dinner reservations to getting us one golf cart for all 5 of us to reserving our sunset cruise. We were always in touch with them through the WhatsApp which made it easy and carefree. Thank you again Angel and Amairani you’re the best! Gilman the main Pool Concierge is really a standout personality of our stay. With every passing Gilman would interact with us to make sure we were having the best experience and go out of his way to provide us with whatever we needed to make sure things were perfect. He even knew our first and last name by the first couple of days of our stay! Bravo Gilman! Other notable staff members Wilma at the beach you are awesome! Always smiling! Cynthia part of the guest experience always greeted us with a smile! Obviously you can see the staff here had a huge impact on our overall stay. The food is to p notch we never had a bad meal or poor service. The restaurant servers were friendly and always responsive and timely! This is a beautiful resort in every way and we look forward to returning soon!

A slice of heaven on a beautiful island a catamaran ride to paradide

My stay was an experience of extremes. If it depended only on the butler team, I would give it a 10/10. The personalized service was impeccable, they anticipated all our needs, were discreet, extremely professional and friendly. They saved our stay. However, I was quite disappointed with the beach. The images shown on the official website and on booking sites do not correspond to reality at all. We were attracted by the promise of a paradisiacal beach but we found something very different. Anyway, the hotel in general off era a great servi e and with a view from the rooftop simply breathtaking. Negative points: * Non-existent access to the sea/difficult and unpleasant. * The slide advertised as a must-have on the beach is pure illusion and doesn't work. In fact, the water doesn't even reach it. Conclusion: I don't recommend it as a beach hotel. Is probably more to swiming pool lovers. I give it a 10 because I can't give Vianey (one of our butlers) more, who was always attentive, available, and ready to help in any circumstance. Worth her weight in gold. Excellent professional with a huge heart. Thank you so much for everything!

Stay: February 26 – March 7, 2026 We arrived at Impression Resort by catamaran and were warmly welcomed at the marina dock. The arrival experience was beautiful, and the property itself looked stunning. We were given a tour of the hotel, and everything seemed very promising. However, once we entered our room, we were extremely disappointed. We had booked a honeymoon suite, but it was facing a wall at the back of the building. For a rate of approximately $3,700 per night, this was not what we expected. We were immediately offered an upgrade to a beachfront ocean-facing honeymoon suite for an additional $1,000 per night. Although the price was already very high, we agreed to upgrade. The first night in the new room was wonderful. There was a bottle of champagne waiting for us, and the room service included thoughtful small details. The only issue was that the blinds were not working properly, but we managed. Unfortunately, the next morning around 7:00 a.m., we were woken up by loud noise from the upper floor, where the restaurant is located. We could clearly hear chairs being moved and the kitchen ventilation system running. We stayed in that room for two more nights to see if it was just temporary, but the noise occurred every morning. For a room costing $4,700 per night, this was unacceptable. While at the beach, a manager approached us and asked about our experience. We explained the issues. He offered to move us to another honeymoon suite and assured us he had personally checked the room and that there were no issues. We agreed to move again. The new room initially seemed quieter. However, we soon discovered that the outdoor jacuzzi was leaking and would not hold water. I reported the issue immediately. Maintenance attempted to fix it, but after two to three days, the problem was still not resolved. We were unable to use the outdoor jacuzzi for most of our stay. Eventually, they acknowledged that the issue could not be fixed during our visit. Management offered us a 30% credit on the $7,000 upgrade cost as compensation, and we signed the documents. However, it has now been three weeks, and we have not received any update or refund on our credit card. This is very disappointing. We are currently trying to reach front desk management for a follow-up regarding the reimbursement, but it has been impossible to get in contact with anyone. There has been no response, which is extremely frustrating and disappointing. I want to mention that our butlers, Angel and Amai, were wonderful. They were attentive, kind, and truly did their best to make our stay enjoyable. Unfortunately, the overall management, room quality control, and maintenance do not match what one would expect from a top-tier luxury resort at this price point. For the amount we paid, the experience did not meet our expectations. Regrettably, we cannot recommend this resort at this price range.
