Impressions by Secrets Isla Mujeres completely exceeded every expectation. 10/10, went for our honeymoon and would definitely come back!

I have attached a lot of pictures, so feel free to browse through them. Not sure where to start, but this resort is unbelievable and stunning. We came down from Michigan to celebrate my wife's birthday. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. This is the nicest resort that we have ever been to overall. It is very first class but not stuffy if you understand that. There are about 125 rooms and nothing is ever crowded. There are plenty of things to do other than just hang out at the pools or ocean. They have Ebike tours, you can rent golf carts for an Island tour, they also have snorkeling tours and other things like Yoga etc... The activities and entertainment are very nice but not overwhelming. There is no chair game or bali bed game. There is plenty of everything available even at 10:00 am. The food and the restaurants were fantastic. We never had a bad meal. There are 5 or 6 different restaurants. There are about 3 open per night and they rotate each evening. There is a rooftop restaurant for breakfast and lunch with wonderful views. We didn't have any food that we did not like. The restaurant staff was amazing, from the hosts to the wait staff and cooks. We had a great time at the Hibatchi. It was the best food and show we have ever had in Mexico. We were also spoiled with a romatic dinner on the rooftop just after sunset (see pictures). The coffee shop was also wonderful. Open 24 hours. Great food, deserts, ice cream and coffee. Overall the food and staff was amazing and we can't wait to go back. We were upgraded to an ocean front view, which is what I really wanted. I love sunsets. The ocean view rooms face east and the sunrise, the ocean front rooms face west towards Cancun and have the beautiful colors and unbelievable sunsets. If you love sunsets, these rooms are for you. We were in Room 1319 and there are several pictures from our room. I had a room video but it was too big to upload. Also, if you love sunsets, they have sunset cruises on their catamaran a couple nights each week. They spoil you with the amenities. From the bathroom and shower to the towels. Literally, the best towels we have ever used at a resort. So much so, that my wife got some for our house...lol. They also have a well stocked minibar and some snacks in case you get hungry. The spa was very nice. Best massage bed that I have ever been on. The hydrotherapy circuit was very nice, the staff was very helpful. We really enjoyed the massages. The steam room was a little bit hot for me, but the sauna was amazing. Check in and check out was a breeze. We checked in at the marina and then they took us to the resort on the catamaran. That was a very nice calm boat ride to the resort. About 45 minutes or so. Each room is assigned 2 butlers. We had Zelma, David and Alexander for a short time. Zelma and David are two of the best in the business and everyone asks for them. When we go back, I will definitely ask for them again. Always helpful, always there for anything needed. Always good for a fun conversation. Top notch people. The management team here is phenomenal. We had great conversations with restaurant managers, entertainment, experience managers, and general manager. While I didn't get to meet the general manager, he did write us a personal note and we did text back and forth a few times. Overall, this management team wants you to have the best experience possible at this resort. I'm sure that you are like, Rick, this is a very glowing review, surely there must be something you didn't like. I would say, not much at all. Sure, there were a few very minor things in our room that didn't work properly, but that didn't affect us in any way at all. There is not one thing that comes to mind that would have made me give any sort of a bad review. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. We are not drinkers, so I do not have a review about that, but I can say that they had wonderful mocktails and non-alcholic drinks that they made for us. We absolutely loved it here and we can't wait to come back again and again. Thank you to all the management and staff for making my wife's birthday so special. We love you all.

OMG AMAZING! Celebrated my birthday and anniversary and everything was what we wanted and more. Everything is seamless and no hassle getting from ferry to hotel and check-in/check-out. The attention to detail, delicious cocktails, food, service, pools, beach, views, activities is top notch. Angel (our favorite) and Alexander were our butlers who attended to our every need and addressed everything immediately including the issue with the stone hot tub we experienced and even beautifully decorated our room for my birthday. We have been to several top-rated resorts including the Secrets Maroma, Four Seasons Maui and this by far even exceeds them which was a tough act to follow. We cannot say enough positive words about our experience from butlers, bartenders (Roofdeck is our favorite), restaurants and all around just a wonderful relaxing luxurious experience. We cannot wait to go back at Christmas to see everyone again esp Angel.

Oh my goodness! We had the most incredible experience! My boyfriend and I kept saying that we have never experienced a better all inclusive. The attention to detail, the food, the atmosphere, the activities, the pace, and the island were all incredible!! Our favorite, however, was the service!! Our butlers, Erick and Edgar, made sure we were completely taken care of. Ratik and Abraham went above-and-beyond to connect us with the most amazing food and experiences. And all of the bar tenders were so attentive and incredible- but the ones that stood out for us were Migel, Rommel, Leo, Regina, Aramis, and Irvin. We took advantage of the sunset cruise, enjoyed the fire show, sang at the piano bar, took a golf cart around town to explore beaches and local food, LOVED the hydro experience at the spa, and ate some of the most intentional and amazing food. When we first arrived, our hot tub was cold, but our butlers did a great job helping it get up to a warm temperature. Other than that, this literally trip was literally a dream from start to finish. We will be back!!

We had an amazing stay at Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets, and it truly felt like a luxury escape from start to finish. What stood out most was how thoughtfully everything was executed — the comfort, the food, the experiences, and especially the people. 🛥️ Arrival / Boat Ride Over The boat ride over was seamless and relaxing, and the views were unreal. It wasn’t just transportation — it set the tone for the entire trip and made arrival feel special and exclusive. 🛏️ Room Comfort + Relaxation Our room was extremely comfortable and quiet — perfect for real rest. The layout and overall feel were upscale and calming, and we spent a lot of time simply enjoying the space and the ocean views. It’s the kind of room you want to linger in. 🍽️ Food Quality + Service The food quality was consistently excellent across our stay — fresh, well-prepared, and far above what people usually expect from an all‑inclusive. Service was equally impressive, and Alexander (waiter) deserves a special mention for being attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. 🚴 Bike Tour The bike tour was one of our favorite activities. It’s a great way to get out, see Isla Mujeres, and experience more than just the resort. Our guide “Spider” was fantastic — fun, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. 🥃 Mezcal Tasting The mezcal tasting was a standout: engaging, well-paced, and actually educational. We learned a lot and enjoyed trying different styles — it felt like a real experience, not a quick add-on. 💆 Spa The spa was relaxing and beautifully run. Thank you to Jesus, Janyita, and Allysa — the service and treatments were excellent and made for a perfect reset day. One small suggestion: the jacuzzi water temperature wasn’t quite warm enough, but everything else about the spa experience was top-notch. 🌟 The People Make the Difference A huge part of what made this trip exceptional was our butlers Alexander and Angel. They were responsive, thoughtful, and helped make everything feel effortless and elevated. Bottom line: If you’re looking for a luxury Isla Mujeres experience with incredible views, excellent food, and genuinely memorable service, this is it. We would absolutely return
