Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets

We had the best time at Impressions Isla Mujeres by Secrets celebrating my friend's 50th birthday, and so much of that came down to the incredible team who took care of us. Our butlers, Zelma and Amy, were exceptional and attentive from the moment we arrived, making sure every detail of our stay was taken care of. Carlos Salvador, Emilio Miranda, and Brenda Rubi also went above and beyond to make each day feel special, and Eric made my friend's birthday dinner truly memorable. That said, a few things fell short of what we'd expect from an ultra-luxury resort. We noticed leaking roofs in common areas throughout our stay, and the early-morning renovation noise was incredibly loud and distracting during what was supposed to be a relaxing week of celebration. The food was very repetitive and less than stellar, and the complimentary wine selection was underwhelming for a resort at this level. The property itself is beautiful, and the staff who went out of their way for us made a real difference. But looking beautiful doesn't automatically make a resort luxurious, and a high price tag doesn't guarantee an exceptional experience. If you're booking here expecting flawless, top-tier luxury, keep your expectations in check. Right now, the marketing outpaces the reality.

My wife and I stayed at Impression for our honeymoon. We had an amazing experience across the board. The hotel is stunning, and is even more beautiful in person than in photos. The service was impeccable and we greatly appreciated all of the help from our dedicated butlers - Zelma & Amairani. The restaurants all served excellent food and it seemed like each meal was better than the last. Our only bad meal was the night we ordered room service, and honestly of the 6-7 dishes we ordered only 1 wasn’t disappointing. Outside of that, everything exceeded expectations - from the bars to the spa to the location to the amenities. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to others and especially the oceanfront honeymoon suite room.

My wife and I went for our honey moon and couldn't not ask for a better place. The food was amazing, everyone was so nice, service was top notch, and resort was so beautiful. Wasn’t packed so everything moved smoothly and didn’t wait a long time for food or drinks. The butlers we had Wedinzon & Viabey were phenomenal they were quick to answer and went above and beyond and made sure we were always happy. My only complaint being an American the ac in the restaurants were great but the bed rooms on the other hand weak. I went to bed sweating every night and had it turned down to 66 the lowest it could go and on full blast with ceiling fan on high. Regardless even with the ac 10/10 would 100% go back

This resort is absolutely phenomenal. It has a beautifully designed architecture with stunning views. The resort personnel is friendly, caring, efficient and accommodating. My friend and I participated in their wellness activities with Isaac and April - soul-led painting, dream catcher creations and others. These are very different activities that we experienced at other resorts. Out favorite was a sunset sail with an opera singer and violinist. It was very peaceful and beautiful. We met Abraham, the activities manger, often and he would genuinely inquired about our stay and offered some helpful tips. We enjoyed a wide variety of restaurants and cuisines. Our butler, David was taking a great care of our. We enjoyed our stay. It was truly relaxing and transformative. Thank you for the service.

Angel and David were our personal butlers for the entire duration of our stay and did an incredible job! We never had to wait on any activity we wanted to do, they booked all of our dinner reservations and moved the times or canceled things we no longer needed. they both responded insanely fast to every message or request and were very personable! We would absolutely recommend requesting them if you stay here! 12/10
