Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets

This was our first all-inclusive experience and it truly set the bar! We chose Impression Isla Mujeres for our honeymoon because we wanted something very relaxing, with little planning, and hoped to just have a catered-to experience since we were suffering from wedding decision fatigue. We just wanted to find one place that could entertain us for six days, but still feel very relaxing. We didn't want to have to travel a lot. We didn't know what to expect from an all-inclusive, but we heard great things. It was the best vacation we ever had. Convenience: Getting to and from the hotel was a breeze. We used Land Savvy (highly recommend) for a private shuttle from the airport directly to the marina. At the marina, the resort staff is already there waiting for you and get you on a ferry straight to the island. Between land savvy and Impressions, the trip to/from was so simple. They schedule the ferries and shuttles based on your flight times so you don't have to worry about it. Resort/Accommodations: The resort itself is beautiful. It isn't too crowded, so you have plenty of room. We had no problem getting reservations at restaurants, finding beach space, and signing up for activities. The rooms were very clean and well kept. They had everything you could need and were restocked every day. They have a fully stocked gym, 24/7 coffee/dessert/snack bar, and tons of great food choices. Plenty of pools so you have your choice of style/temp preference. The Spa was also great (we had a nice couples massage). Restaurants: The food selection was top notch. You had mexican, mediterranean, steakhouse, italian, and a japanese place. All the food was great. The portion sizes were shockingly big. All the restaurants accommodate special requests. By the time you get there they already know your dietary restrictions and make sure to follow them without you needing to confirm. Also if you go to the same place during your stay, they often remember you and adjust your meals and portions according to your preferences. Staff: The staff was A++. Everyone was super nice and willing to go the extra mile. You never had to ask for anything, they would just bring it or volunteer. We especially liked our Butlers (David and Angel). Both of them were super responsive. We would text them whenever we needed room restocks, restaurant reservations, activity reservations, cancellations, etc. They also surprised us with nice decorations in our room to celebrate our honeymoon while we are at a dinner reservation they made for us :). The fact they went the extra mile to help us celebrate made us feel very welcome. The staff at the front desk was also great, especially Julian Ortega. He was able to help us find the perfect room and ensure we could get to/from the resort with zero hassles. Chef Tony had us laughing super hard at the hibachi. Activities: The activities were fun! Every night they had a different activity (DJ, fire show, dance party, karaoke, etc.) and during the day there were plenty of things to choose from. We did a few activities with April (candle making, body boarding, DJ party) and had a blast. She was always super enthusiastic and made our time super enjoyable. Carla also did great with the Karaoke! And the DJ was entertaining and really nice as well. We enjoyed snorkeling and salsa! The live music was great as well. Also they had this amazingly cool fire show. Would definitely recommend timing your trip around that if you can. They had some off-resort activities as well, but we didn't partake. Overall, we didn't know what to expect from an all-inclusive, but the bar is set pretty high. Between the staff, accommodations, and generosity we experienced... we definitely would go back in a heartbeat.

Antonio made the experience for my boyfriend and I incredible!! We will absolutely be coming back, the hotel is absolutely beautiful!! 100/10 experience!!

We had an amazing experience from leaving the airport to arriving to the catamaran lounge while we waited to be taken to the hotel. Carlos helped us with our luggage and was very friendly. He made sure we got comfortable in the waiting area. Julian was especially helpful in getting us all checked in and we were offered light snacks and drinks. He was great, and it was an amazing start to our stay!

My wife and I have just returned from 5 days and 4 nights at this beautiful hotel. The experience from booking through the return was nothing short of exceptional. Pre arrival communications to ensure we had any special requests fulfilled to confirming the catamaran the day before were perfectly timed. The experience from the airport through arrival at the hotel is also exceptional. They have a private lounge at the marina for drinks and light snacks while you wait for the boat. Staff is attentive, polite but unobtrusive. On arrival you are greeted with a cold towel and a fresh drink. While your luggage is taken to your room, you are given a tour of the property, pools, and restaurants so you know where everything is. There are 5 pools from the rooftop and continuing down almost to beach level. You have pool bar and food service at all 5 pools along with the cabanas and day beds along the dock. Staff is very attentive, but not excessive. The restaurants are fantastic. Portion sizes are perfect (Not American sized portions thankfully) and artfully presented with a large variety of options in each restaurant. Your butler will handle all dinner reservations along with reservations for any excursions or activities that need them. Our butlers, Erick and Wedinzon, were fantastic. Requests were handled very quickly, and they shared the daily activity schedule every morning, so we knew what options we had throughout the day. Whether you want to spend the day relaxing in the pools or ocean, or take on tours of the island, snorkeling or kayaking, you have several options to choose from. The property was not crowded, giving you room to relax and not be overrun with others while relaxing in the pool or cabanas. I HIGHLY recommend Impressions Isla Mujeres and I know we will be back!

The staff shine at this property, anticipating needs and creating special experiences and touches that make you feel very pampered without being intrusive. Antonio at the beach was especially attentive, as we're our butlers David and Angel. Staff related how well they are treated by the company. The property itself is beautiful and comfortable.
