Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets

The hospitality and service of the hotel staff was excellent. I've stayed at other luxury hotels in Cancun, but they couldn't come close to the service at this hotel. In particular, the staff at Wedding & Vianey were always available to help me using the chat function on their smartphones. The staff on the beach and in the restaurants were very helpful and accommodating to us, even though we don't speak much English. Impression by Secrets is a great resort! Super luxurious, our private butlers David and Angel were super helpful during our stay. The many different pools and lounge areas made the resort feel not crowded and sometimes we had pools completely to ourselves. I have dietary restrictions and both our butlers and the restaurant staff were super accommodating! The dining options were delicious. There was also almost always nightly activities for after dinner. My favorites were the sunset catamaran cruise, the guide Franco was great he was also at Retro night the same night and really made sure everyone had a fun time, and the live salsa band, April taught me some salse step and it was super fun! Overall I loved my stay and can’t wait to come back!

Where do I begin? The entire experience was second to none. The entire staff was unbelievable. More importantly, our two Butlers, David and Angel, were amazing. These guys truly care about your experience and we will be back because of them alone. I can’t thank them enough! Great job!

There were highs and lows to our stay at Impressions Isla Mujeres, which isn't something you want to say about a resort ~$1,700/night. The views, food, and amenities were excellent! While wait staff were most often attentive and engaging, there were a couple times our orders were forgotten in what felt like a low occupancy time. However, I found the butler system especially frustrating to make dinner and activity reservations. There were times requests were unanswered/unconfirmed or vaguely confirmed/declined hours after asking. After the second day our room’s bottled water, coffee, and toiletries (like shower cap) stopped being replenished, along with juices and wine, even after asking in-person for these. We had to go to the 24 hr coffee shop for most of the stay. Staff did go out of their way to provide a scuba diving demo on a windy day (the highlight of the trip!). We also enjoyed the e-bicycle tours: our guide was funny and shared more of the island's cultural history. We did an independent trip to Punta Sur too - worth the $6 USD/pp to tour cliffside walkways. Lastly, we booked through Hyatt. I recommend if you end up staying here you use your credit card's travel package instead - our friends were able to get a free room upgrade & multiple perks that way. Overall, I thought it was a beautiful resort that was short on the service-front - I wouldn't return.

This review is long overdue and I truly don’t think I can adequately summarize how special Impression Isla Mujeres is. It’s an experience like no other. My husband and I have been fortunate to visit this magical place 5 times already and each visit gets even better. From arriving at the marina in Cancun for the private catamaran sea arrival, to the seamless and stress free checkin experience and welcome drink and staff greeting you at the dock upon arrival on Isla. EVERY single detail has been well thought out and gets better each time. It’s a peaceful and quiet escape from busy life and is the most beautiful space to relax, unwind, reconnect and restore. The staff goes above and beyond to not only make you feel like a welcome guest, but to somehow make it feel like you are coming home. Mourad and his team have created something so very unique and special at Impression. Far more than the stunning Caribbean views and pristine pools and immaculate designs around the property, you can actually feel the heart that goes into creating a space like this. It’s an experience that I wish everyone could have at least once in a lifetime. The rooms are immaculate and designed and decorated beautifully. The spa is absolutely wonderful. The grounds are stunning. There are little spaces and nooks all around the property to get away for some quiet time as well as many activities offered if you want to enjoy the sights of the island and stay busy at the resort. The perfect.m balance of both (we highly recommend taking part in ‘Cooking with the GM’ if you have a chance). We have to mention the helpful and wonderful butler service…from arranging boat crossing for arrival/departures, dinner reservations, any activities and so much more it’s such an incredible service!!! Thank you Mourad, Ritik, Gerry, Jenner, Juan, Jimmy and the rest our Zoetry family, Amairani, Edgar, Angel, Erick…plus SO many more for always making us feel so welcome and part of the family. We can not recommend staying here enough or rave about the staff who make this space as special as it is!
