Hilton La Romana All-Inclusive Adult Resort & Spa Punta Cana

Did a lot of research before picking this hotel and so happy I stayed here. The beaches were super clear and no seaweed during the seaweed time. Food was delicious ! Any place you went. Now the entertainment team is so personable, fun and nice. They remember you everywhere and I had a blast. My favorite event was the painting on the mini canvas with Yuliana and yulietta. The painting on the hats was my next favorite Renee, Maria, and Yuliana. Would come back !!

Me and my husband visited secrets for one week, we only booked this trip a few weeks before coming out but we are so glad we did! We had a brilliant time and really enjoyed it. The hotel itself is spotless, all the staff are really friendly. We upgraded to preferred club on arrival and we are so glad we did, we really enjoyed the mare restaurant for our lunchtime burgers, they were delicious. It was nice not having to use a buffet as we aren’t fans of a buffet. All the food we had was lovely, my favourites being the coastal grill and the French restaurant over at the dreams side of the property. We used the preferred lounge everyday for snacks and drinks. The preferred pool was lovely and was so nice having your pool towels put out for you everyday, another little touch I thought was good was there was suncream and aloe gel next to the preferred pool for the guests to use, the aloe gel really came in handy after a long day at the pool. We absolutely loved our room, the location was great, ground floor looking out to the preferred pool. It was an ideal location for us. The room got cleaned daily and mini bar and snacks replenished daily. There was also a nightly turndown service which was lovely coming back on an evening to a nice tidy room With fresh towels. Another highlight was the coffee shop, the staff in there are so friendly, and they do lovely sandwiches and cakes. The beach is beautiful with lovely clear water, no seaweed at all! A couple of members of staff really stood out to us , Evelyn Pilier at the preferred pool made the best cocktails and also Francisco Ramirez at the preferred pool was really friendly. The men who put the pool towels out every morning at the preferred pool were really friendly and always spotted you right away and made sure your towels were on the loungers you liked. One thing that annoyed us slightly was one member of staff constantly trying to push the extra cost wine list on you and the lobster speciality meal, his name was Watson and came across very rude when you didn’t want to buy anything from him, we spoke with one family who said he wouldn’t take no for an answer and kept coming back to their table and just standing there making them feel awkward , even after them telling him they didn’t want to purchase anything. I have no problem with any of the other people asking us if we want to purchase the extra things , they were polite and left after we said we wasn't interested, but Watson was rude. Another thing that I’d like to mention is the entertainment in the secrets lobby, after we had our meals we came back to the lobby and it was a dj on at night , playing things such as YMCA, no one seemed interested and I think some more laid back music or a singer would’ve be more fitting for this resort, Overall We had such a lovely time and we would definitely come back and recommend this place to friends and family
