Excellent option in Bayahibe. The hotel offers superior service, allowing exclusive service in the lounge and at the beach for its Preferred customers. Being a regular I noticed a great refreshment of the food and beverage concepts in Noor, El Camino and Maravento. Staff is pleasant and attentive.

My wife and I recently stayed at Secrets La Romana, and overall we had a very enjoyable vacation. Value for Money: B+ The resort offers good value, especially when you consider the food and beverage options. Restaurants like Chinola, Noor, and El Camino served very good meals. If you ordered the same quality of food and drinks at a restaurant back in the United States, you could easily spend $100 or more per person. The biggest area that could use improvement is the service. While every staff member we encountered worked hard, was friendly, and genuinely tried to help, the overall level of service didn’t quite match the premium price of the resort. I would describe it as good but somewhat inconsistent. The beach is definitely the highlight of Secrets La Romana. It’s beautiful, relaxing, and the perfect place to spend the day. We upgraded to the Preferred Club and paid an additional $200 for a butler for our entire stay. It was absolutely worth it. A special thank you to Luiding Bernal, our butler, who went above and beyond to make our vacation memorable. He made sure our beach cabana (#26) was reserved each day, helped us secure a discounted rate of $100 per day, kept our cooler stocked with drinks, and surprised us with fresh coconuts, pineapple piña coladas served in a pineapple, and anything else we needed throughout our stay. His attention to detail truly elevated our experience. Another thing we appreciated was the layout of the resort. Everything is within walking distance, making it easy to get from one area to another without needing shuttles or long walks. Overall, Secrets La Romana is a beautiful resort with excellent food, an outstanding beach, and a relaxing atmosphere. While the service throughout the resort has room for improvement, the hardworking staff and exceptional butler service made our stay enjoyable. I would definitely consider returning.
