I have taken over a week before writing this to ensure my feelings did not change, but I remain very disappointed with our recent stay. This trip was our honeymoon, and we chose this resort expecting a luxurious and memorable experience as this is Hyatt's highest line. Unfortunately, from arrival to departure, we encountered ongoing issues that significantly impacted our stay. Based on conversations with other travelers when doing excursions, I wish we would have stayed at another place such as Secrets. It was highlighted as your highest line of Hyatt and I have stayed in better places that are considered less "luxury" than this. While check-in was smooth and our butler Kaelan was good, our experience declined shortly after. Each evening, we had to walk up an extremely steep hill (70% incline) to our room without transportation. We were all the way in the back and our room did not even have the expected bay view, as it was obstructed by trees. We also experienced several maintenance and cleanliness issues. The shower flooded the bathroom multiple times due to poor infrastructure. Our plunge pool stopped working and took approximately 12 hours to be repaired, and when it did, it was extremely hot so we could not even use it. At one point, we had COCKROACHES in our room, which was extremely upsetting and by that point, I just wanted to leave as that was just the icing on the cake. Service delays were also frustrating. That same night, room service took over four hours to arrive, coming at midnight when we were already in bed. The food was cold, and drinks arrived 30 minutes later which was pointless as it was so late. The television malfunctioned and would not turn off properly; we endured multiple nights with the TV on with the brightness in our faces until discovering a way to turn it off on the fourth night by this switch as we tried just pulling the cords out and that did not even fix the issue. This issue was never resolved. The beach experience was also SO disappointing. We were placed in an area with limited views, facing cruise ship crowds rather than a relaxing setting. Additionally, locals frequently approached us to sell items because there was so many cruise ship people, they thought we were them most likely. The beach was consistently crowded and did not meet expectations, especially compared to beaches we visited outside the resort. This was not communicated on the site as it was constantly crowded. To make matters worse, I experienced food poisoning one evening, likely from fish, which caused me to miss the street party. The dining options were also limited, with one restaurant not even included which I knew beforehand, but food was not really high end/exceptional. The only restaurant we somewhat enjoyed was the Cove with Tameka. Despite these issues, I would like to recognize several staff members who provided good service: Kaelan and Neil (butlers) Allison (pool bartender) Ronnie (pool server) Tameka (The Cove) Dumplin (entertainment) Their kindness was the only bright spots during an otherwise disappointing stay. Given the number and severity of these issues, especially considering this was our honeymoon, I will never go back to this resort as I really tried to like it.

I was so thrilled with the hearty welcome and excellent customer service by the staff at this hotel Zoetry. The food was 1000%, the drinks were 1000% customer service the best I've received. I celebrated my 35th birthday yesterday n honestly you guys didn't disappoint one bit. From the night into our final moments before departure it was top tier. Shout out to Natalia, Tamica, Rasheeda, Chef Travis n of course Dave Bernard who served me with such compassion n humility. Kudos to you guys and to the bartenders hats off to you guys. I will definitely be coming back here in November. Last but not least the room was. I loved my room 1221 omg I would definitely recommend this hotel again as the best place to spend quality time away from work. The atmosphere was to die for. See you guys soon. Xoxoxo leania
