Our stay was for our honeymoon and we had the most amazing week. The resort was so beautiful and the staff was so kind. Each restaurant had delicious food our favorites were PetitParz and DiRoza. Our drinks were great everywhere. Very clean!

the rooms very much outdated. The entire resort needs major interior renovations. There was absolutely no hot water until the last night of my stay, which is unbelievable for Hyatt being “luxury.” Everyday during my stay, I had to go to the front desk to see the hot water situation, it became an exhausting event and quietly frankly stressful for being on vacation. The “Compensation” was an actual joke to me. When checking out, more hiccups and when I wanted to speak to a manager, front desk employee Shaddai became argumentative and at that point I just wanted to check out. Thank goodness the AC in the room was working. There were socks left in a drawer in my room at arrival. When I told housekeeping about the socks, she was very dismissive, acting as if I should be removing the socks myself. Rooms not thoroughly cleaned. Outlets in bathroom not working. Sure there were pros and cons to my stay, however, mostly cons. Pros would be plenty of pool chair/beach chairs. Food options was 7/10. It was nice to have local Jamaican food offered in multiple locations through the resort. Fitness center 24/7 and good equipment. Airport transportation thru the resort was quick and easy. Other than that, I don’t think I will be ever returning. We tried to make the best of our vacation/hot water situation, however, it became exhausting and stressful and arguing for a “compensation” was a literal headache. The multiple sticky situations I encountered was really unacceptable for being a loyal Hyatt member.

I frequently go to Hyatt Zivas and this resort is hands down my favorite. I came here to celebrate my birthday with my husband and 2 kids (4/8), my parents, my father-in-law, my brother-in-law and his partner. We did not have any problems finding seats by the pool/beach at any point of the day which is usually a problem I find at the Hyatt Zivas in Mexico. There were 9 of us total and to be able to switch from beach to pool midday or vise versa and be able to find seating all together was great. Huge compliments to the pool-beach servers Julia, Shellion, Jhavia. They were already attentive servers on the day that they served our group but on my birthday they found me and surprised me with a bucket of champagne and sweet treats decorated with “Happy Birthday”. Honestly cannot thank them enough for going out of their way to make my day that much better. I feel like at this hotel the staff are genuinely happy and appreciative of tips whereas other hotels I’ve been to you only get good service if you tip extravagantly. We were able to make speciality restaurant reservations for each night including the first night upon arriving at the hotel which rarely happens when you’re larger than a group of 4 at other hotels. The beach was so beautiful and very calm. The pool had lots of shallow ledges so little kids without floaties could play. The rooms were nice and the resort looks just like the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Beach, CA. I honestly loved this hotel so much and cannot wait to come back.

Overall enjoyed my stay , some staff were amazing like Daimane from Italian restaurant and Deka and Shakira. The bartenders and staff at West end are not so friendly and put a dent on the experience. Beautiful resort though and most of the food was very good

My family and I stayed at the Hyatt Ziva for roughly 5 days and it was amazing. The food was spectacular, we didn’t even have the chance to try every restaurant at the hotel because there were so many! Shakira was OUTSTANDING!! She brought the party wherever she went and was very attentive and overall made the trip 10x better! Will definitely be coming back!
