Generally it is a good experience, but not go above and beyond. Not up to the standard of Ziva Cancun and Punta Cana. Room(5/10): a bit dated, but still ok. We were in the junior suite building which had a good view. The hot water issue and AC issue they had last year seems fixed. However, we had two false fire alarms, and the second one woke us up 6am in the morning, which is terrible experience for the family with young children and no compensation at all. Without the incident I would give a higher score. Pool (8/10): we enjoyed both pools very much. No complaints. People works in the pool bar are super nice. Restaurant (5/10): buffet restaurant grills are awesome. Love the lamb, steak and mussels. Pasta in Di Roza is super. Petit PariZ does not taste “French” at all, and the FuZion is a total disaster. Miso soup came without or only 1 to 2 pieces of tofu, Yakitori griller just did the work without a single smile, and no interaction to customers at all. Cafe (7/10): the BiteZ deserts are super good. The GrindZ is generally good, except one barista made my Cappuccino using brewed coffee! When I questioned about that, she seemed shocked and questioned me: you want espresso? I was like &$@#%* Beach (4/10): small but still useable. No way close to a wonderful beach like Cancun or Cap Cana. Full of seaweeds on the left side of gazebo and looks like they only partially clean it once every 3 days. Don’t expect too much service on the beach. We probably stayed around 15 hours on the beach chairs during our stay, they only came once asking if we need anything to drink.

The Concierge team did an amazing job at surprising my husband for his birthday. The candle light dinner on the beach was great, our waiter was brilliant at his job.The spa treatment was relaxing and just what I needed. The food, I didn't enjoy that much. Entertainment was okay. Overall my husband and I enjoyed our stay.

This was our first time in Jamaica and we are already looking forward to going back!! I cannot say enough about the Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall!! The staff go above and beyond and are so friendly!! The rooms are kept very clean and are very spacious! The food..all I can say is wow! So many choices! The grounds are well kept! The pools and beaches are amazing!! There is a breakwater at the beach which is great!! We honestly cannot think of one negative thing to say and are already missing it!!!

My husband and I booked this trip for our 20th anniversary to get away just the 2 of us. We left our 3 kids with my parents to enjoy some time away. Overall, we enjoyed the beach, dining experiences/food options and the gym was great. The hotel was a bit out dated but that was fine. Our one major issue was the guests next to us that we're constantly fighting and yelling which completely soured our experience. The one guest was also screaming at security and on his balcony at other hotel guests for several hours. Security did not kick them out or try to move them elsewhere. We were told from management that we would be compensated for this disruption but have yet to receive this compensation. I filled out a loss prevention report for the disturbance and 8 days after our return, nobody conveniently remembers anything at the Ziva hotel. Expedia is trying to help me contact the hotel but now they are saying they don't have any notes on file. Unbelievable!! This should have been resolved upon check out. We expect better considering how much we spent on this vacation. Hopefully someone from management can contact me directly.

Had a great time . The better restaurants on property were really good. The staff was great. The buffet breakfast has a everything from meat lovers to vegans. Opens at 7 am and made breakfast time very easy. Had a oceanview room which had a queen size couch to sleep on at night which was great with no bugs to deal with. Staff is very friendly. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas at the beach. Pool bar was alot of fun. Drinks were good, not watered down. Not great for beer drinkers unless you like Red Stripes and El Presidente. No other choices. If you like golf you have to play along the ocean at Cinnamin Hill.
