This resort was just bought. Honestly review from my few dozen resorts I've stayed at. 1) Hotel/Property- 7/10. Clean spacious rooms. Room service included. No night life/club. 2) Pool/Beach- 9/10. Pools were clean. Beach was clean. Beach went waist and chest high far out. Chairs available until about 10-11am on the beach. Drink service on the beach/pool was good, no food. 3) Food- 6/10. Buffet was small with limited options but they were good. Tried the Argentinian and Mexican restaurant, both OK. 4) Staff- 9/10 very friendly and helpful. 5) Atmosphere 3/10. The shows are in the small lobby or right next to the pool. The smallest and least impressive setup I've seen for entertainment in my time traveling. If you want to disconnect then you'll have that here. 6) Wifi- 10/10. Worked well out on the beach as well. I personally wouldn't return for a romantic trip nor with my kids due to the limited options. I think they still need some time to rebrand but they're limited on space.

The staff was extremely helpful and went above and beyond on many occasions, including a private paint and sip party! Belen, Teresa, Ezekiel all went way above and beyond in arranging the tables, decorating and making it an amazing and fun experience! The food, activities, staff, rooms, entertainment and the drinks were all amazing! They also put together a beautiful wedding and reception!

Our recent stay was unfortunately not in line with the expectations set when we booked, particularly for a resort marketed under the Wyndham name and as adults-only. There were multiple billing issues, including unexpected charges for minibar restocks (such as water and Diet Coke), despite these items being listed as included in our booking. The service experience varied greatly—while Emerald, Eulysis, and Carlos (the manager) were professional and helpful, the overall staff demeanor noticeably declined on days Carlos was not present. Facility upkeep was inconsistent. While the main pool near the lobby was cleaned daily, the others remained visibly dirty throughout our stay. One of the most frustrating aspects was the presence of children in a resort that was advertised as adults-only at the time of booking. Dining options were severely limited. Only two restaurants were open at any given time, and the more upscale venues remained closed for the majority of our visit. The Asian restaurant was never open. Room service lacked a consistent menu, making meal planning difficult, and there were no self-serve drink stations available—access to basic beverages such as bottled water were restricted until the bars opened at 11 a.m. There was also a surprising lack of basic amenities such as a first aid kit, and language barriers made communication challenging, with many staff members struggling to understand or respond effectively in English—something we haven’t experienced to this extent at other international resorts. The one consistent highlight was the cleanliness of the rooms and resort grounds, which were exceptionally well maintained. Overall, this stay did not reflect the quality, service, or amenities typically associated with the Wyndham brand. It was a disappointing experience that fell far short of expectations.

We had the chance to get married in the hotel, and I can say that the experience of the actual wedding was just great. The hotel itself was also great, in our experience and a few other’s as well. The only thing I can say they could improve is the cleanliness of the rooms, specifically the sand which appears to be on the floor and very sticky, perhaps a different cleaning method to get rid of it on the floor and beds since I know the sand itself is sticky, but other then that it was a great experience, great service from everyone at all times, the bartenders were also amazing as was our wedding coordinator for the hotel. I would recommend it
