We stayed here for a week and this was our first try at the all inclusive. In short, the food was not very good and by far the best meals we had were when we ate off site. The location does not have much around it in regards to other restraunts that you could go to if you get tired of the food at the hotel. We did find a good Italian place which is only a 5-10 minute walk down the road and it is MUCH better than the Italian place at the hotel. Service was pretty good overall but there were a couple of the restraunts where the service was lacking. The pool and beach were nice but next time I'll skip the all inclusive and stay in an area that has other dining options nearby. Normally we get the included breakfast at the hotel and then dine somewhere else the rest of the day and I think that is a much better option.

Nice quiet room, lots of space, and a comfortable bed. Grounds are clean and well maintained. Spent a week without a refill in my fridge (water and pop) hadn't realized it was to be done each day. Most service was good at the restaurants (Raul, my favorite waiter, was fabulous!) but with others I often had to get up to get my own cutlery or drink and food could be mediocre or over-cooked. Japanese restaurant was disappointing, but buffet was quite good. Good beach, close to the hotel, and a good venue for a wedding or other occasion. No really entertainment and karaoke night was held just below my room so loud, though my door shut out most noise. No gift shop or pharmacy in the hotel, and nothing close by. Surprising. I would give a higher rating but felt I paid quite a bit for what I got- some other visitors paid less so may have felt they had a better value.

This review is for Angel at the Taco Bar. He made sure we were well taken care of. Attentive to both our food and drinks.

The food is awful, the buffet isn’t open every night and when it is not much to choose from. Only half decent restaurant is the Italian until my husband found bones in his lasagna, rooms are beautiful will give them that. We had to transfer out because we couldn’t justify what we paid and what they offered. As well all the other guest that had been staying were complaining so luckily we got to leave to a much better resort. The beach chairs are so dirty Hopefully they will improve the resort,

First time at the Fiesta Americana and it was a great experience. The Mrs. and I just wanted to get away and relax and that’s exactly what this resort offered. The people are incredible and go above and beyond to make your experience the best. Leo at the pool bar was awesome and knew us by name. The steakhouse, Mexican restaurant and Thai restaurant were all delicious. Antonio was a great server. The drinks were perfect and the weather was incredible. Lots of space and chairs around the pools. Be careful, the iguanas like to steal your orange slices out of your drinks by the pool haha. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a smaller resort with great people.
