Dreams Huatulco Resort & Spa - All-inclusive

Could not get pool chairs after 7am. Had to set alarm for 6am to get chairs. The italian resturant service was terrible and the food was cold. Font desk lied to us about late check out.

We came here for 5 days and had the best time here! The staff here are great. (A Big shout out to Fernando from the aquatics staff who always had a smile on his face, and went out of his way to make activities fun.) This resort has great Ocean and pool-based activity options. I spent most of my days snorkeling right off the beach, paddleboarding, and playing beach volleyball Be aware that there is a big drop off, so make sure you keep your eyes on your little ones. There were also a ton of Mexican vacationers staying at the resort, so we were able to practice our Spanish!

This was our second stay at a Dreams resort, and unfortunately food quality continues to be a consistent disappointment. While there was a wide variety of options available, many dishes were overcooked, the cuts of meat were often tough, and overall the food lacked flavour. Much of it tasted quite similar across restaurants, which made the dining experience feel repetitive rather than enjoyable. There were a few exceptions that we appreciated, but given the price point, especially over New Year’s, we expected the opposite, consistently good meals with only the occasional miss. We have stayed at lower-rated resorts that offered noticeably better food, so this was particularly surprising. That said, there were positives to our stay. The pool and beach areas were beautiful and we enjoyed spending time there every day. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful, and while the hotel itself feels a bit tired in places, it was generally clean and well maintained.

We were a family of 9 (7 adults and 2 children aged 3 and 5 years). We had the best time ever at the Dreams Resort. The weather was fabulous and the resort was beautiful. The beach was spectacular and great for walking and swimming, and the snorkeling was really good (lots of neat fish to see). We loved that it was in the bay as that kept the water nice and calm. Our rooms were always clean and fresh. And the food was truly outstanding - it didn’t matter if you were at the buffet, the snack bar, the great restaurants, or the bars, it was all very very good. And everyone in our group thought the same. The resort has a beautifully calm and relaxing vibe to it. And it was really nice to have the variety of both adult only pools and general pools so as to suit your mood and experience throughout the day. The special evening suppers and entertainment were wonderful. The resort was set up so beautiful for these events that you felt like you were in a magical wonderland, especially with the gorgeous backdrop of the scenery with the water, the beauty of the bay and the rocks. New Year’s Eve was spectacular! You will really love this resort, with friendly and helpful staff.

Best vacation ever!! We’ll be back. Just the right amount of activities and relaxation. Lots of places to cool off when the heat is too much. Room air conditioning was excellent. Very clean. Good food. Awesome staff, they remember your name and your drink, great service on the beach and just genuinely nice people.
