Sandals Ochi

I had an excellent experience at Sandals Ochi, thanks to the amazing team at the Manor Pool Bar. Shevaun (bartender) and Akeila (cocktail waitress) made every day a highlight. Their energy was the perfect mix of professional, friendly, and fun, and they consistently created a great vibe around the pool. The drinks were the best I had on the resort—crafted with care and always on point. After the first day, I only wanted to go to them. Shevaun kept the bar running smoothly and remembered my preferences, while Akeila was attentive, upbeat, and made sure everyone was taken care of. They truly elevated my stay, and Sandals is lucky to have them. Highly recommend stopping by the Manor Pool Bar just for their service

Here are a few recommendations and observations: 1. When you book, spend the money on Club Mobay. They fast track you through immigration. Literally took five minutes and otherwise we probably would have been in line over an hour. 2. When you arrive either have your butler (if you have that service) or you make all dinner, excursion and amenity reservations the very first thing to ensure you get what you want. 3. Butler: This is a nice service if you feel like it would fit your expectations. You don't have to have it. We had two exceptional butlers, Stacy and Marsha! 4. Restaurants: Our favorites were Soy Sushi, Jerk Shack and Smokewood Barbecue, with Soy being a 15/10. We had the best server, Ameika...she was wonderful and I guess who was the restaurant manager, Andrew. Not only is the food wonderful, they remembered us and were so hospitable. One more thing...the signature drink at Soy is delicious. Recommend. Think we will be going back a third time tonight. I would give all of the other restaurants an 8/10. 5. The Rabbit Hole: Club on the hillside. Best bar on the entire campus. Real bartenders. Best selection of bourbon...recommend a Knob Creek Old Fashioned. 6. Gyms: The one on the Riviera side is bigger because it has all of the cardio but the one on the hillside has more machines that we use so that was the one we used. 7. Spa: Very nice. We booked a couples massage and I have a facial later today. 8. Excursion: Highly recommend the catamaran excursion on Island Routes, catamaran #1. Super fun crew, snorkeling was magnigicent, great DJ! 9. Staff: So very welcoming and pleasant! Ochi is the most affordable of all of the Sandals on the island. If you are looking for something über luxurious and over the top, this isn't it. It's very nice but after talking with lots of return Sandals' guests, this one is the least expensive and it is reflected in service and quality. Don't get me wrong...it was a wonderful week at a beautiful resort. The grounds are gorgeous, drinks flow freely, beautiful pools but apparently there is a line of demarcation between this resort and some of the others.

We absolutely loved our experience at Sandals Ochi as it is where we got married. The prices were great for our guests to come and stay, views were incredible, food was delicious, and so much fun was had. Travis from the Sandals transportation bus was amazing and so funny. Our butlers Natalie and Kaeson were also attentive and amazing for leaving us sweet things/food behind every day. We also enjoyed our semi-private pool with our room. Noise level was okay, we were close to the road so did hear cars/trucks driving by. Very cleanly room, no bugs found! We did lose water power one of the nights due to a pipe burst; it was resolved the next morning. We definitely want to give a shout-out to a few members of the entertainment team including Damaine, Romario, and Patrice! They made our experience so fun and it was amazing to chat with them! Our favorite events were the steel birds pan and Friday night event with dancing from the entertainment team and a fire dancer. We loved being able to swim and snorkel in the clear blue ocean (we took advantage of the included snorkel excursion). It's nice that the resort is so spread out that there's usually always a chair available somewhere by the beaches or pools. Our ocean cabana experience was our favorite day. The drinks and food delivered to us as well as the neck/back massage was incredible. Our cabana butler even gave us bread to go and feed the fish while snorkeling in the ocean. The food at Neptunes was exceptional Caribbean food. We loved all the restaurants' signature cocktails as well. Every member of the resort from bartenders (Jovi-Ann), wait staff, groundskeepers, receptionists, etc are so unbelievably nice. We did not want to leave and can't wait to go back! Vista Sky food was delicious but service was a little slow. Our room service breakfasts were always delicious and delivered right on time. The beach and pool bar drinks were always exceptional and staff was so friendly. Southern Table service was wonderful. Our Kimono's hibachi chef, Richard, was wonderful and so fun! The Caribbean food from Mariner's, Neptunes, and Manor was delicious especially the shrimp. Neptune's service was a little slow though. Food, drinks, and service was exceptional at Le Gourmand. Do note that outside sellers/vendors are set up in an area where you can't avoid them if you are trying to get from Ochi Beach Club to Oceans bar, we didn't really love being bombarded to buy things while on vacation.

Had a great time! Amazing service from all staff members. But in particular a few shout outs. Bingo with Patrice from the entertainment team, won two prizes - she was a fantastic entertainer. Really nervous when eating because of my allergies but shout out to: Yashiema from Italian restaurant he was so much fun. Food was also incredible. Voldar Kelly’s - great recommendations and even better managed to find me a gluten free dessert. Horatio from dinos Pizzaeria was excellent. Omar from dinos brought a fun energy and big shout out to Partia from dinos too who made our final meal excellent. Novia zone 5 housekeeping - our rooms were super clean and very well stocked each day. Delmar and Melford our two butlers really did make it an Elite vacation for us. Definitely coming back

Do not trust the picture Expedia shows you. If you book the Lux room 1 bedroom, Honeymoon luxury the picture shows a couch and coffee table and room service does not come in room.t The room is really just a bed and a chair. The bed and chair are worn out and need to be replaced. The room description and pictures are listed wrong. The staff was excellent though.
