Sandals Ochi

We came here for our honeymoon in August 2025, and we can safely say we had the time of our lives. The staff really do look after you and treat you like royalty, everyone went above and beyond during our stay and couldn’t have done more from the moment we arrived to the day we left. The entertainment team are all amazing and upbeat, the Jamaica live event in particular is one you don’t want to miss! All the restaurants were incredible, particularly the French and Italian! After this holiday we’ve said any other holiday we do in the future simply won’t beat this one! We can’t wait to return!

I apologize for my delayed review but I just came across their names. We met two remarkable young men during our trip to Sandals Ochi in July 2025 (Romario and Damaine).They were among the most humble, polite, and professional staff we encountered during our stay. Romario even took the time to teach my husband a few dance moves, which made for such a fun and memorable moment! Both of them went above and beyond to make our time at the resort enjoyable. Damaine and Romario, we truly appreciate your kindness and great energy. We look forward to seeing you both again on our next visit! I wish I had better photos but these are a few screenshots I came across online.

We were on the ocean side of Sandals Ochi. All staff was very nice. You had to take stairs everywhere. Not a good resort for someone with physical challenges. Food was bland. My husband had a grilled fish burger from the Mariner. Instead of a grilled fish filet like the menu said, it was what looked like a frozen fish patty and my beef burger was not a fresh beef patty. It also looked like a frozen beef patty. Definitely not gourmet dining. One pool with a swim up bar needed to be closed and drained for repair. Missing tile everywhere. The ceiling in our room leaked when the shower in the room above us was being used. The restrooms at one beach were out of order the entire time we were there. The padded cushions at the amphitheater might as well been removed. No padding. The 6a wake up call requested on our departing day came at 6:23a. Lots and lots of small things needing repaired. Ceiling in seating area at main bar was peeling. Toilet paper holder in one bar was coming off the wall. The large ‘flower pot’ at the entrance by the stairs going to customer service was full of rocks, etc, etc.

I came here with my wife for our honey moon and hade a short stay but it was excellent. We left early due to a hurricane that was coming in from the south but we had time for our candle light dinner. Our waitresses for the night were excellent! They moved us out of the rain. Took care of our every need. We felt taken care of and important. Specifically (AALIYAH & SANTAY). We loved our short stay. And will be returning when there’s not a hurricane around the corner.

We had an awesome time at Sandals Ochi, it was our first trip to Jamaica and after our experience at Sandals Ochi it will not be our last. Shout out to our Butlers Delmar and Glenford, they are Amazing!
