We had a good time here, beach beautiful, pool and activities nice. Staff very friendly, decent enough food. The best part were horses on the beach and massages. Look for lime green table and ask for Ana. They are excellent. A great value for the money. We were on NJ time so in the evening went to sleep early however I am sure there was enough entertainment if you went looking for it. For the not so great, no bathroom inside the room, why? Adults only rooms have a bath. Kids love a decent bath and so do most women. Especially after the beach. Also, no magnifying mirror so of you want to see your face up close bring your own. Small patio, I think for the money there could be a bigger space. Not much room if you want to chill outside your room. Also, no beach service, and towels need to be brought on your own from one spot by the pool. It’s more of a 3 star experience. Concierge did not do much although maybe there was not much to do, reservations for restaurants not needed. I feel like he could have checked on us more often. In Mexico they do more, small gifts in the room etc. Wildlife great, saw howlers, iguanas. Booked though Adam at the beach. I recommend the sloth encounter. Super cute, it’s truly paradise. Long drive just be prepared. I don’t think we will be back, but it’s decent enough. Love the beach on the right with the seashells and so much fish in the water. Have fun, happy travels!

36 of our friends and family went to the Westin and had a very nice time. This is a very large resort. They have "golf carts" that drive around and will take you where ever you'd like to go. Food was good, hotel was clean and people were extremely nice. The only down side was the evening didn't have entertainment as we have experienced in other all inclusive resorts. The beach is a public beach, so you will be bomb barded by locals that want to sell you everything from tee shirts to massages. Fishing was outstanding. On the boat my husband, son and grandson were on along with 2 other friends from our group, they caught 5 huge sail fish (catch and release) 30 lbs. of grouper and a few other fish of different species. The grouper was cleaned and they took it to one of the restaurants and the chef prepared it for all 36 of us, cooking it 3 different ways. It was wonderful. We rented 4 wheelers and took a tour through the back roads to some beautiful locations along the coast. We were there during the rainy season, so yes it did rain many of the 10 days that we were there...but usually at night so it didn't hold us up at all from going to the pool or on an adventure. It was very humid all the time that we were there, so you wanted to stay in the pool and close to the swim up bar!

The place is gorgeous and has everything you could possibly want at your fingertips. The service is wonderful and rooms clean. The rooms aren't perfect, but very nice. The food was great at the restaurants and also room service. The grounds are immaculate and it feels like paradise anywhere you wander. Would love to return!

We loved our vacation! Family suite was a bit small and not so private for a family of 5, but other than that rooms were clean, pools and beach amazing and the food very tasty. We also really enjoyed our excursion to La Leona, waterfalls, monkeys, a true Costa Rican experience. See Erik G, blue shirt with google decal on the beach for planning a great adventure! Looking forward to going back.

I can't say enough about this resort. Everything was top tier. The food, the rooms, the staff, the grounds were amazing. We will definitely be back.
