Blue Diamond Luxury Boutique Hotel

Our time at the Blue Diamond was absolutely wonderful!!The staff was very friendly and helpful. Most spoke very good English making our stay very easy. The food and drinks were delicious and fresh and the wait staff was very attentive. We don't have any food allergies or restrictions but the menu had gluten free, dairy free and veg options as well and possible allergens (like nuts, gluten and dairy) were noted on all of the menus if needed. The dinner menu also changed each night and switched between different cuisines like Mexican, Italian, gourmet and Greek etc. and we enjoyed trying new foods. Breakfast and lunch menus stayed the same, but had a variety of yummy foods. We were there during the off season (July) and so the resort was not crowded at all-- it felt like our own private oasis! The grounds were well kept and peaceful and we enjoyed using the bikes and walking around (they will also drive you in a gold cart if you don't want to make the walk/ride) and also enjoyed the cenote and spa. Our room was upgraded free of charge to a beach Casita and the room was beautiful, clean, very comfortable and the rooftop pool was amazing. It also walked out onto the beach and had an unbelievable view!! We learned that the giant bathtub in the room is a cold plunge pool and could be filled up during the day when requested (but was not for hot bubble baths like we thought in the pictures) but the giant shower was still great!! We greatly enjoyed the couples massage (called the love therapy experience), and both agreed it was one of the best massages we have ever had. We were also blown away with how many gourmet chocolate covered strawberries we got to enjoy with the champagne in the jacuzzi afterwards-- more than a similar massage package in the US. The pools and sauna at the spa were also very good and had plenty of comfortable places to lounge and relax. There was a lot of seaweed on the beach *which is very common all over this area at the time*, but they had workers out there every day to make a path through it to get to the the ocean if you wanted to swim, and had plenty of beach loungers on the beach and around the pool as well. We would highly recommend the Blue Diamond if you are looking for a relaxing vacation where you don't have to worry about anything!!

Amazing resort. The best staff at any resort we've ever stayed at, including all-inclusives like Sandals. The food is phenomenal. And I highly recommend the Temazcal with Dayana. A traditional Mayan ceremony that's good for the heart and soul. Truly a place to get some vitamin "sea", relax, recharge, and experience some of the best of Mexico.

The Blue Diamond is where we love to come. The jungle, cenote, wild life, and quiet is our vibe. The Cenote room is amazing. The walk, which we enjoy, is warm but you are in the tropics,so it is welcomed. The food is well plated with good options. Our servers were amazing and kind. Shout out to Roman, Jorge, Fabian, Christian and Martin. We did the sushi and ceviche classes. Very warm, but good classes with the head chef. We are excited to come back!

What stood out the most was the food, the quality was excellent. The service was also exceptional, with a friendly and attentive staff. The amenities felt a little limited, which made the experience seem slightly incomplete.

I can highly recommend the Blue Diamond Luxury Boutique Hotel. It is a peaceful, relaxing resort that provides the perfect escape from the crowds. The staff were outstanding throughout our stay, consistently going above and beyond to provide exceptional service and make us feel welcome. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, the atmosphere is tranquil, and the attention to detail truly sets this resort apart. If you’re looking for a quiet, luxury getaway with top-notch hospitality, Blue Diamond is an excellent choice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return. One detail worth mentioning is that during our visit in June there was a significant amount of seaweed on the beach, which limited ocean swimming. We were told that this is a seasonal issue that typically affects the area for a couple of months during May and June, and that outside of this period the beach is generally much cleaner and the ocean is enjoyable for swimming. This did not detract from our overall experience, but it may be helpful information for future guests when planning their trip. If this is important to you ensure you check based on time of year you are attending. After all we had a great time here.
