Lovely, small resort with attentive staff and a chill vibe. Preferred upgrade is definitely worth it, with a nice restaurant on the water and very friendly attendants. Good beach with a protected swimming area and excellent snorkeling just off the beach of the resort next door (many fish, squid, rays, eels). Pools are small and chill but can get a bit hectic if it's busy. Food is pretty good with lots of options and no reservations required for the a-la-cartes. The theme nights are fun with some different food options and entertainment, set on the beach or by the pools. The Mexican night was particularly good. Highlight of the trip for me was the kindness, attention, and helpfulness of the staff at the resort. Most needs were anticipated or quickly provided as requested. Puerto Aventuras is a nice little community with canals winding through with many boats, restaurants/bars, shops, pharmacies, and even dolphins and manatees. It's nice to just wander out of the hotel and explore. Felt very safe and welcoming. Overall a great experience, especially for the price. Highly recommended!

Guadalupe had the most beautiful, nurturing energy! I felt so lucky to have her for my relaxing massage at the Hyatt Dreams Spa in Cancun. The level of relaxation I felt was truly unmatched- Thank you so much for sharing your talent with me and my tired body ;) 10/10, would come again

We all loved the pool & beach areas, no complaints there. Make sure to bring water shoes for the beach and natural pool areas though, its very rocky. Rooms were clean, but as others have mentioned everything was damp and had a very strong musty smell. It's a humid climate, but having no shower fans makes it even worse. The food was... bad. I don't have high expectations for a mid-level all-inclusive, but this was REALLY disappointing. The breakfast and lunch options were limited, even as a Preferred guest, and the quality was really low. We were hoping for some authentic Mexican cuisine, but the closest we came to that were the carnitas tacos on the beach that were sometimes served. A few a la carte restaurants were the only semi-decent food we had - we enjoyed Gohan and Portofino. The "steakhouse" was awful. Preferred lounge was good to grab some upgraded drink choices, and the staff there was lovely.

One of my favorite things to do on vacation is to visit the Spa! It’s a time to recharge and pamper myself. Nester, a masseuse at the Dreams Spa was absolutely wonderful. Be sure and book with him during your stay. You won’t be sorry, it will be the best massage you have ever had! I had 5🥂, that’s how much I enjoyed his services .

I really enjoyed my stay at puerto aventuras service was excellent food amazing. The only downside I guess would be the little beach area no waves and the pool not that deep I guess it was because it’s a family resort. But I 100% recommend it . The natural pool was also amazing
