small resort - only 2 small pools - not enough pool chairs for all of the guests restaurants had limited seating - minimum of 2 hour wait to get a table rain one day - not equipped to handle more indoor activities - had to walk outside to get to any restaurant housekeeping did not refill soap, toilet paper, towels on a regular basis I would not stay here again - have traveled to various all-inclusive resorts in Mexico - this was the worst one I've been to for the amount of money spent

Food was good. Unable to get chairs at pool and beach. Two tier guest services. If you are not preferred guest service lacked.

I traveled with my family to Dreams Aventuras March 9-16, 2026. Overall we had a wonderful family vacation. We all stayed in a combination of Preferred Club Rooms, swim up, Marina View and Family Ocean Front Suites. The resort is very clean, the staff is kind and very professional, the rooms are very clean, the food is delicious and if you went hungry that would no fault of the resort as there are many options throughout the day where you can eat. Evening entertainment was good and there are many planned activities for kids and adults throughout the day to participate in. Lovely new swing bar with the location being very tranquil with beautiful views of the ocean. Preferred Club Lounge is now on the first floor so much more convenient. Great location to walk (10 minutes) to town for shopping and the Dolphinarium. My family had a wonderful vacation and because the resort is small it is great for families with younger kids and also for seniors or those with mobility issues. My only compliant would be how difficult it is to get reservations for dinner for our family of 12 to eat together. This was a aggravation I did not anticipate. I think if you are a family traveling together to maybe try to contact the hotel in advance to see what options they car offer for dinner with a larger family traveling together. P.S. We rented golf carts off property which was just a short walk from the resort. The cost was $40.00 US for 2 hours which was more then enough time to take a drive through the gated community. My husband and son also did a fishing charter from the same tour company and had a great time and they were successful at catching fish! The cost was $220.00 US per person with a total of 4 people on the charter.

I would highly recommend this resort to families. The staff is excellent with children and there are lots of activities for them. The pools are shallow and so is the beach area so there is little danger for young children. As a senior, it was not my favourite resort but I have nothing bad to say about the facilities or the staff. Rooms are spacious.
