Grand Velas Riviera Maya

Customer service is terrible. Can’t get anyone to email you back. Don’t expect dinner reservations that you want. Just poor service prior to even getting there. Would chose GV Cabo anytime over this

We had a fantastic visit to Grand Velas. Everything was top notch from our welcome at check in, to the food at all the restaurants and poolside, to the beautiful grounds and fantastic staff. We really loved Frida and Lucca for dinner and our daily breakfasts at Chaka were something we all looked forward to. Our concierge, Dariana, was particularly lovely! She always had a smile on her face and was so quick with a response whenever we had a question or request. She even remembered a comment I made about our son's upcoming 4th birthday and set up a surprise bubble bath filled with balloons for him - we were so touched! We would highly recommend this resort.

This was our first time here and it won’t be our last. We had such a great vacation. The staff were so welcoming and go out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They have all the amenities you could ask for whether you travel as a family like we did, as a couple, or for a corporate event. Jeronimo and Braulio were our personal concierges, and we cannot properly express the level of gratitude we feel towards their ability and hard work in ensuring we had an enjoyable and carefree holiday. Even when we had one sick child, they made us feel reassured in a stressful situation. We also have to mention their amazing babysitters and kids club. Our 4 year old cannot stop saying how much she misses all the activities their kids club provided! Also, each babysitter we met were so loving and attentive towards our 1 year old (who instantly adored every one of them). We would like to mention one babysitter in particular, Carolina, who we had the pleasure of having twice. She kept us updated throughout their time together and she was such a joy to be around. We can’t stop raving about this resort and can’t wait to come back one day. We are already dreaming of the pasta at Lucca, the short rib at Frida, and all the unique dishes at Cocina de Autor. Service was excellent and staff were all professional and friendly

The Grand Velas Riviera Maya is a luxurious and family friendly resort. We were there for 6 days with our 20 month old daughter and can honestly say that this resort thought of everything. There was babysitting for our daughter so we could go visit the incredible restaurants and when we did bring her with us to dinner, the staff was so friendly and engaging with her. Our personal concierge representatives Braulio and Jeronimo were so helpful and friendly. They helped us making changes to our reservation, brought our little one stuffed animals and pool toys that she used the whole trip and generally were engaging and available to help with whatever we needed. The rooms, restaurants, beach and pool areas all felt very high end and the staff all over the property were so pleasant and thoughtful. Overall, we left thinking that we need to come back and we will likely be visiting this resort every few years!
