Hilton Playa Del Carmen, an All-Inclusive Adults-Only Resort

This resort is a five star! This resort is extremely clean, customer service is on point, the pool is fun, vibe is solid, views are breathtaking, location is perfect to 5th Avenue (3 minute walk), food is delish, beach is ok but not the resort's fault. We had a swim up room. I would highly recommend! I had a massage at the spa and Cristine was amazing. I would return in a heartbeat. I went with five of my girlfriends but a lot of couples were there as well. Room was very clean and stocked. AC worked just fine. Foam party on Saturday was a lot of fun.

We have just come back from this amazing hotel, such lovely staff, great location although the beach is a bit rocky just outside the hotel but a 30sec walk up the beach and it's all sand. we can't wait to go again.

Three girlfriends and I went to this all-inclusive resort for a 7 day girls trip. Service was excellent, everyone wanted us to have our best vacation. The food was exquisite. We went to the buffet for breakfast and lunch. They had fresh fruit, delicious breads, and pastries. Each night we tried a different restaurant. The menus had lots of choices and tasty cocktails. For an extra charge you could order wine or try dinner specials. Cafe Aroma was a perfect stop in the morning for a cappuccino to drink as I walked the beach watching the sun rise. They had sandwiches and yogurts. It was the perfect stopping place for snacks, caffeine, and ice cream. Check-out the awesome smoothies and poke bowl at the barefoot poolside food stand. As for things to do at the resort, there is an app with activities listed and a map. I took yoga almost every morning by the gazebo facing the ocean with Veronica. Her class was something I looked forward to. She gave a serene and tranquil slow paced class with her calming strong voice against the backdrop of birds, wind, and waves. I enjoyed the Aaua bike, a spinning class in the water! You have to sign-up and I only was able to try it because others didn't show. The entertainment team kindly let me join. We did aqua fitness with Benjamin. He has quite the sense of humor and had a fun class with dance moves and used the water as weights. He finishes the class with some creative group moves. Try-it! They also have dance lessons and crafts. Ananza and Gabriella (Gabby) were so kind and would come around to the pool to invite us. We went to the foam party and rented a cabana from Bernabe. He kindly assisted us in finding the right one to choose. Adan took great care of us that day and remembered us the following day. We used the Amstar travel agency to book a sailing and snorkeling trip. The agent was helpful with our last minute request and I highly recommend the luxury sailing tour we were on. The evenings had a show with acrobats and dancers, it was like a Vegas show coming to you. After the show you could dance to the resident dj's music or do karaoke depending on the night. The quiet dance party with headphones was my favorite night experience. The spa was a treat, I did the hydrotherapy, massage and facial. It was easy to make a reservation and they were accommodating when we needed to change our time. The resort was beautiful, clean, and I felt safe. Highly recommend and hope to return.

We recently stayed at the Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen. The property is quaint and easy to manage and impeccably maintained. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. We had a fabulous time. The resort is conveniently located on the beach and a few steps away from the bustling shops and restaurants on 5th Ave. This location offers a multitude of choices for fun and entertainment. On the entertainment side. Jose was fabulous and welcoming as the lead host of the entertainment team. He and his team were instrumental in ensuring we had adequate mats and props for yoga on the beach daily. The entertainment schedule was filled daily with a variety of workouts, games, parties and crafts something for everyone. The gym is superior with plenty of free weights, machines, cardio equipment as well as 2 studio rooms and plenty of classes available. The food and drinks at all the restaurants and cafe were superlative. Alexa at the cafe greeted us by name and was a fabulous barista. The cafe was absolutely stunning with a variety of coffees, teas and treats a wonderful place to relax. They hosted high tea daily. There was a variety of restaurant choices and the food at each was delcious including the buffet. The service was impeccable. A special shout out to Daniel and his partner at La Dolmas for top notch service. We would highly recommend this resort to friends and family.
