Iberostar Grand Paraiso

Excellent service especially Paula and Tomas in building 71! Very clean, ecologically friendly, food of all kinds, adult and kid friendly depending on where you stay. Excellent service with a smile, friendly and accommodating for every need. I can’t say enough about the quality and experience we had at our beach front walk out with butler service. All staff was well informed, attentive, and above all professional. I especially loved the local wildlife which, if you just observe, are completely harmless and wonderful to watch! I would go again in a minute!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. The property itself is truly breathtaking — every corner feels thoughtfully designed, with stunning views and a peaceful, luxurious atmosphere that makes it the perfect place to relax and enjoy. What really made my stay exceptional, though, was the service. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, but I want to give a special mention to Miriam from Guest Interaction. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. Her warm personality and dedication made a huge difference in my experience — she made me feel valued and taken care of at all times. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Beautiful place, outstanding service, and unforgettable attention to detail. Definitely a 5/5 experience — I would highly recommend it and can’t wait to come back!

Our trip was absolutely wonderful. I came here with my girlfriend for a vacation, and the experience far exceeded our expectations. The food and the service were both stunning. The entire staff is incredible, but we want to give a special shout-out to Sofi at the pool for the great service. Also, Kibou at the concierge desk was a huge help throughout our stay. We were so impressed by the high level of service that we actually ended up becoming members! Although this was our first time here, we are very happy to return and are already looking forward to our next visit.

My stay at Iberostar Grand Paraiso was delightful. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Pros: - Spacious rooms with beautiful views - Large, well-appointed bathrooms - Well-stocked minibar - Private balcony - Two excellent bars with a wide selection of cocktails - Good variety of dinner options - Kind and respectful service throughout - Thoughtful post-checkout hospitality, which was especially appreciated Cons: - Room service was slow at times - Limited lunch options (only two venues available) - Relatively limited number of activities and events - Occasional noise near rooms close to restaurants/buffet areas Overall: I would recommend Iberostar Grand Paraiso for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Cancun.

My husband and I first visited this resort soon after it opened in 2008. Everything was brand new. We were impressed with its cleanliness, the outstanding variety of food, the immaculately maintained grounds, the beautiful buildings, and the incredibly friendly staff and impeccable service. Since then, we have traveled quite a bit. Life is short and it can be a dilemma-do you keep seeking new experiences or do you go back to what you know you love? We realized we were constantly comparing each new place to Iberostar and they were coming up short. When I proposed the idea that we return to our favorite this year, I thought my husband would give me some push back, insisting we continue exploring new places, but to my surprise and delight he was on board with my idea. Though the majority of the recent reviews have been stellar, I had some fears that it may not be as great as I remembered. We were younger and less traveled the last time we visited, so maybe we would not be as impressed? Well, I shouldn’t have worried. It was jut as spectacularly beautiful as I remembered. And now I want to go back every year, at the very least. The resort always feels spacious and private. We LOVED having on ocean front walk out room on the first floor. I was very grateful I read the reviews about avoiding the club sales. It was very aggressive in the first two days, but then stopped, thankfully. We also did not like the negotiating at check in to pay for a room upgrade. It just seemed disingenuous and not in line with the rest of our experience. My husband loved the golf and I appreciated the small gym which had all the equipment I required. We enjoyed meeting Viridiana who made the trip memorable and fun. Our butlers Adrian and Fatima, along with the others were fabulous. Luis made great margaritas. There are countless others I wish I could name, all the service was great. Also, a big thank you to the housekeeping staff who kept our room spotless, comfortable and well equipped. Please tip them well they work so hard!
