Fantastic resort with stunning pools and vista it has great food and fantastic staff service The Impressions side is definitly worth the upgrade for the 3 best pools and 2 extra food venues for fantastic breakfast and great lunches we never return to the same hotel twice but this hotel has changed our minds and will definitly return soon

My wife and I loved staying on the Secrets side of the property last year so we thought we’d “Upgrade” to impressions this year. I didn’t realize “impression” meant that they’d be doing an “Impression of service. We’ve been here one day of our 7 day stay and I can confidently say I’ll never set foot in this place again. One of the benefits of the Impressions side is having a “Personal Butler”. Which would be nice if the personal butler responded to any of the many messages we have sent. Most of the time we get ignored, but occasionally we do get a response from our Butler that they are “Going handle it quickly” but after an hour you end up having to walk down to the lobby and asking for help. Outside of that we had a blast standing outside getting eaten up by mosquitoes while waiting for dinner. Because you can’t take the Pagers to your room, you are forced to stand within 25 yards of the restaurant. And the wait for a table was…. And I wish I was joking. 2 hours and 50 mins. We ask for a table at 6:30… we sat down at 9:20. The food was fine. It truly seems like 75% of the staff quit and Hyatt has no interest in hiring more people to serve the needs of the guests. My wife and I got married here last year, and intended to be back every year to celebrate our anniversary. This will be the last time we stay at Impressions or their sister property. I would say if you like the way the pictures of the resort look and the service they say they provide. Just know that the resort does look great, but anything you need… you’ll be getting yourself.

This was our second time at this resort, and we will be back again next year. The staff are very friendly, service is great, and impression rooftop pool was our hangout!

Everything was simply amazing! We will definitely be back. Beautiful 😍 location, very clean, a lot of pools to choose from, service very friendly and amazing. Nothing missed a beat. Room service just took to long when we just wanted to chill in the room but other then that you can’t go room. Oh make sure you check out the rooftop restaurant.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and had the best time ever! Huge shoutout to our butlers Alberto and Mateo — they were incredible. Every morning they sent us the list of events and made sure we always had what we needed. They even brought ice up to our room so we could do a cold plunge — above and beyond! Also want to give a big shoutout to José, Ilse, and Axel from the entertainment team. We had such a fun time doing bingo and aquarobics with them — they made every activity so enjoyable. And Daniel from the Impressions rooftop was awesome! He always greeted us with a smile, had towels ready, and even remembered our special occasion — the treats he and the team sent up were such a nice surprise. The pools were beautiful, the food was delicious, and the service all around was amazing. Couldn’t have asked for a better honeymoon — we’ll definitely be back!
