La Casa de la Playa

... You can never go anywhere else again. This was perhaps the best resort in the entire world. I started my journey by researching the most luxury all inclusive in the world, and it eventually led me to LCDLP. We have been avid Sandals travelers for the last 5 years, and wanted to see what else was out there. We usually get a butler room at Sandals, so we wanted to have something similar here. Arrival, room, service, atmosphere, activites, amenities, HOLY COW, Y'ALL, this place is perfection on earth. The word 'no' did not exist here for me last week. We had a Wellness Master Suite and I have now graduated to princess level. 10/10 recommend. Butler: Guillermo- AMAZING. Staff: Santos on the beach is a gem, Yasmin at Tuch De Luna is a dream. everyone there is just kind and wonderful. Get yourself to La Casa De La Playa and you'll see what I mean. Nothing will ever compare, ever again.

Our trip to La Casa de la Playa was unforgettable. We’ve been lucky to stay at some beautiful places before, but this property is on another level. The design is so stunning that I kept stopping to take photos of the spaces themselves. Every corner feels intentional. Like, architectural art. It’s the kind of place where you look around and think, “How is this real?” The staff made the experience even more exceptional. Every interaction felt warm and genuine. They anticipated what we needed before we even asked and made us feel completely cared for from the moment we arrived. Their attention to detail and kindness elevated the entire stay. Shout out to Memo, Guillermo, and Laura in particular! And the food. Truly mind blowing. Each restaurant delivered something different and unforgettable. Tuch de Luna, Xal, and Centli were all s spectacular, with plates that were as beautiful as they were delicious. La Casa de la Playa is more than a resort. It’s a place that stays with you long after you leave. We’re already talking about when we can go back.

What a beautiful resort. From the staff, to the grounds, to the food, everything was 5 star. It’s one of the most unique experiences i’ve had while traveling (which I do a lot). Not a crowded place, the service was personal and everyone worked to make our vacation perfect. The skybar staff was amazing, if you go to Xal make sure to ask for Miguel. The lunch menu 10/10, some of the best oysters i’ve had, along with the burger and tuna tartare. The tasting menu at Lumbre was outstanding and the sommelier was great. A trip that was hard to leave because of such caring and hard working people at a beautiful resort that felt like paradise but also home. Looking forward to our next visit!

Had a wonderful experience here, was truly a vacation. The butler's were so kind and helpful. They made recommendations, reservations, helped us find our way around, set up rides for us to get around and more. We spent most of our time on the grounds, didn't even mind spending time in our room with the beautiful ocean view and the private balcony was like an experience in its own... with the bed, chair, private pool, jacuzzi & hammock we just relaxed and enjoyed the company. The pool side and beach was very quiet (music playing but not a lot of people) and relaxing with wonderful service. We had a lovely time we didn't want to leave.

The only downside at Casa de la Playa is that they can be slow to respond via email, but I found that calling them directly resulted in much more efficient assistance.ond via email; however, when I called by phone, they were much more helpful and were able to resolve all my questions regarding reservations and extra costs.
