Paradisus La Perla

We don’t usually return to the same resort twice—but Paradisus La Perla has officially changed that for us. Our first visit was back in 2012, shortly after the resort opened, and we remembered the beauty and exceptional service. Coming back over a decade later, we set realistic expectations… but what we experienced completely exceeded them. The property is absolutely immaculate. The level of maintenance, thoughtful updates, and attention to detail make it feel fresh, modern, and truly 5-star+. The design of the property is the perfect balance—contemporary luxury with authentic Mexican character—something many resorts aim for but rarely achieve this well. What truly sets this resort apart is the service culture. In Mexico, hearing “it is our pleasure” is always appreciated—but here, it often comes with a hand over the heart. That small but powerful gesture says everything. The team takes genuine pride in what they do, and it shows in every interaction. You feel welcomed, valued, and honestly… a little spoiled. The dining was another standout. Top-tier restaurants, consistently excellent food, and seamless service throughout the stay. Every meal felt like part of the experience, not just a necessity. We did have a small hiccup at check-in, but it was handled flawlessly. Our concierge, Ivan, stepped in immediately and turned things around in a way that went above and beyond expectations. He checked on us from that point on, everything was smooth, personalized, and exceptional. Ivan knows what it takes to ensure guests services. This wasn’t just a great stay—it was a reminder of what a true luxury all-inclusive experience should feel like. We can confidently say: we’ll be back for a third visit—and next time, we’re bringing family and friends to experience it with us. We had an awesome time on property. Our family decided to spend a little extra for the Family Concierge and it was well worth it! Erika was our dedicated concierge and she went all out to ensure we had a fantastic trip. From daily check ins and reminders to in room treats and setting up fun activities for the kids…she’s amazing 🤩 The food was hit or miss for quality and taste but every single person working at the resort ensured excellent service. Every day there were a variety of activities for the kids and families. Fun animal and reptile sightings and easy paths to get you to all the locations within the property. Great spot for families!

The fitness instructors Vasty and Nestor were excellent. Led great workouts at the pool and gym. The best of a great resort experience.

We have an amazing experience at the Paradisus La Reserve. Came with my best friend for a luxurious mom retreat to rest, relax, eat great food and get pampered. The hotel was everything we were hoping for. From our exceptional concierge service from Cynthia to friendly wait staff like Renau at the Sante restaurant. Overall, we were very happy and would highly recommend this hotel and the reserve section of it!!

We had a great time at the resort. Highly recommend the upgrade to The Reserve. They had a deal on when we checked in where we got 50% off. This meant we had a lot more options in the resort. Plus our concierge, Rossana, was excellent. She took care of us both and ensured we enjoyed the holiday as best we could. The resort is huge. We stayed for 10 days but were still able to eat at a separate restaurant each evening. Plus, there are plenty of events if you want to keep yourself busy during the day. There are two gyms. The one for all guests is good, but does get busy. So may need to get there early or later in the day. The separate gym for Reserve guests is okay. It has basic free weights and a few cardio machines. Although, it was a lot quieter than the main gym, so great if you just want to use the bike or treadmill etc. The room was very clean. The was a lot of attention to detail when it was cleaned each day. Plus, the room was huge with two jacuzzi baths (one was outside). Very useful on the one day when it rained. Overall, we couldn't fault the resort. Would come again.
