Great resort for kids. Very clean and the staff are incredible. I would recommend the family concierge. It’s worth every penny. The splash park and pools are great for kids. Plenty of bars for parents. Felt safe the entire time and will be back 100%

Excellent stay, seconds time here and we will be back next spring. I can’t say enough about the staff our concierge Veronica was amazing. We ended up switching rooms, nothing was wrong but there was not a great view. Which still means pool lol. not a problem, we switched the next day to a beautiful suit with an ocean view. Hot tub outside, walk in bathroom with plenty of space. We booked the family concierge suit. Our daughter had her own room. The food, great, room service try it! Amazing healthy options. I am on a no sugar diet, it was easy to select the right food. Buffet, ok could be bigger but no real complaints. Dinner, the adult only steak house is really good. Seafood ok as well. Excellent ice cream. Drinks, the bar at the family side makes smoothies which are excellent. All drinks are good. You can get a coconut if you sign up for the Meliá app. We did, great. Beach, beautiful. If you are traveling with kids and need a break make your way to the adults only side. They have an excellent beach with beds and pools. Good food by adults only swim up bar. The activities, endless and excellent. Especially yoga and spinning inside the pool. Trips, included in the price is a cenote trip with yoga and cave. Do not miss! Tulum, a bit hot beautiful. My family went diving, excellent as well. Staff are hardworking and so very polite. They will never enter a room without knocking, there is recycling which is great for the environment. Spa, good for a bit of a getaway in the afternoon. Didn’t get to try massage I am sure they are great! Happy travel! Thank you again Veronica! Happy travels!

100% recommend this gorgeous paradise! Everything is made beautifully fully, staff is super friendly and helpful, food was excellent and the location is beautiful! The yoga sanctuary was my fave🙏😍✨ Amazing resort for families with small kids!

As a whole this property is amazing for families. Complaints about the property seem largely unwarranted. There is definitely some wear and tear on the rooms, but nothing significant. Activities for the kids are everywhere. Family Concierge is the most valuable thing at this resort. Our concierge Eduardo Gamboa was amazing. We traveled with 4 family and he seamlessly coordinated reservations for 13 people, birthdays for 3 people, brought gifts for the kids on 3 separate occasions, ensured the mini bar had everything we wanted and was constantly in communication with things to do. He even went above and beyond by helping break down currency for us as we only had 1,000 peso notes and needed better tipping bills. Overall he took a 10 out 10 trip and only made it better. The food is incredible, breakfasts at the lunchbox were great, Capella was our favorite and went twice, blue agave had fun tacos, flora was probably lowest on our list but still great and the teppanyaki was really delicious. The only 2 small complaints were that the buffet was just okay, not great but certainly not bad and also the beach was similarly just okay. They did an excellent job with the seaweed and the smoothie bar and private concierge section were nice, but this is not the beaches of the Dominican. The drinks, drink service, and bars were great. No short pours, short changing and all liquor was available including patron kettle one and Woodford. Frederico was the pool server for our swim up room and he was always there for us. Room service was easy to order, and always took 45 minutes. Once you know that it's easy to prepare. I do wish the ice cream shop stayed open a little later because there is a rush after the 8 pm entertainment since it closes at 9, but they always stayed until the line was gone. Maybe make it open until 10. 24/7 coffee shop is a really nice touch and they do a great job with the drinks and snack. Is this place a true 5 star white glove resort? No. Is it 5 star level service in an extremely family friendly environment. Absolutely. There were some broken loungers around the pools and the beach, which I feel like happens with the number of kids around. But maintenance was always working, always cleaning and always improving. The coatis were fun and around but also not obtrusive.

Excellent 5 ⭐ Jessica was great. Great service. Great conversation. Very attentive and friendly. You will be lucky to have her wait on you. She went above and beyond to make sure our group was having a great time. She allowed me to practice my rudimentary Spanish with her an was very patient with me. "Jessie" was amazing. I don't know what else to say except "muchas gracias" y "mucho gusto".
