UNICO 20N 87W - Riviera Maya

The common areas are gorgeous. So well designed in every way to promote a spectacular paradise experience. Extremely well maintained Staff very responsive and friendly everywhere. Food was exceptional at all restaurants except Mura (Japanese). Bad. Avoid. Arrival extremely annoying and long. Other than trying to convince us to go to the time share sales nightmare, I saw no reason for the long delay to start my time in paradise. Our poor friends did do it to save $100s on our excursions, but they got hounded several times by aggressive sales people throughout their stay. Loved the big walkin shower (for 2!) Bed very comfy. Thermostat was uncontrollable. Usually too cold... for my wife. One night too warm. The assigned host was amazing. Solved a couple issues for us spectacularly. Stayed nicely out of our vacation, but responded beautifully to our texts. Cocktails were excellent throughout the property. Take the mixology class. I’ve been visiting UNICO for the past few years, and one of the biggest reasons I keep coming back is the outstanding service from Carlos and Eduardo. Every time, they deliver the same consistency, care, and attention to detail that make my stays truly exceptional. They anticipate my needs, offer thoughtful recommendations, and create a warm, seamless experience from start to finish. Their professionalism and genuine kindness set them apart, and it’s clear they take great pride in what they do. UNICO is already a beautiful resort, but Carlos and Eduardo make each visit unforgettable. I will continue to request and rely on them for future stays because their level of service is simply unmatched. Highly recommend!

We just returned from our second visit to Unico 20.87 and was splendid once again. Our suite looked directly out onto the ocean and the room was very well decorated and had a large deck. The grounds and pools are very well maintained and activities well organized throughout the day. We spent the majority of our time around the quiet pool and received amazing service from Eric, Luisa and Rosa. We experienced all of the restaurants throughout the week and the food was excellent on every occasion. Once again the staff are what always makes it extra special and would like to acknowledge Marianne at Mi Carisa, Diane at Cueva Siete, Suzanna at the 20.87 Grill. Our housekeeper Luisa did an incredible job all week long. Will definitely return soon.

This was my first experience at an all inclusive resort. It was great. I loved the size of the resort, ease with which one can access food, drink and kind staff to help in any way. The are a variety of rooms to suit everyone's taste. Many opportunities for dining on many different cuisines. I'll definitely want to return!

We love this resort - the food and service are exceptional, and the beach is beautiful! Our butlers, Carlos & Eduardo did everything to make our stay special. Also, shout out to our mini-bar server, Christian, for keeping us well-stocked!
