Finest Playa Mujeres is a fine example of compromise. Guests who want to bring the whole family along on an all-inclusive vacation on Cancun’s gorgeous beaches can do so at this all-new property. Couples who want romance without the slightest echo of little feet on the pool deck will find that too, plus a string of other perks that come with booking a suite in the adults-only Excellence Club. Minimal architectural lines, Scandinavian-designed furniture, and pops of tropical aquamarine and lime green give the resort a low profile, and an extensive list of activities keeps the day as action-packed as desired.

Hello, Let me just say we will not be back. First the good: The Finest Club swim up room was fantastic. It was the first time we stayed in a swim up room and my daughter loved it. We loved the size of the room as well as the size of the swim up section. Even though others could use the pool, we had zero issues. For reference, looking at other swim up suites at other resorts, the swim up sections seemed more private. Again, not an issue for us. The room was easily the best part of our trip and highly recommend this type of room. No door leading into the bathroom was a little odd but no big deal for our family of 3. You could swing the door for the toilet out for a little privacy. House cleaning was fantastic. The minibar service was hit or miss. They do not just come in and restock. You either needed to call or be in the room when they come by. Not a deal breaker. The kids club is one of the best we have encountered. The climbing blob was the star of the club for my daughter. She did not participate in any of the kids clubs activities but really enjoyed all the water slides. Now for the bad: The availability of chairs and lounges around the kids section of the main pool is severely lacking. Most if not all of the lounge chairs were "reserved" by 7am from people just putting down their items and then going to breakfast. I saw items not moved for hours with no sign of people. I am not sure how the hotel can stop this. But just having more chairs and lounges would be a great help. This lack of chairs and lounges may be due to so many other pool choices. You pretty much have a pool outside whichever room building you are in. The beach is nice but like other resorts lots of sargassum and swimming in the water is kind of nasty, Not the hotels fault. The wedding receptions go until 11:00pm at night. The music on our first night seemed very loud. Either we got use to it or it just was not that loud the other nights there were weddings. Being in building 5 facing the Gusto restaurant made the musing seem on top of us. My advice would be to move the receptions to the adults side of the resort. I really dont think having them right in front of the Finest Club building 5 makes the most sense. Again, the music did not bother us the 3 additional nights we were at the resort. Now for the really bad: I can say this without debate, the biggest disappointment for our stay was the food. The food was just okay. The variety at most restaurants was minimal and it was difficult to find something to eat. I realize food is very subjective. The best meal was easily the Hibachi Japanese restaurant. Everything else was just okay or not good at all. For reference, we have stayed at the following all inclusives and the food was so much better: Hyatt Ziva Cancun, Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall, Hyatt Ziva Riviera Maya, SLS Playa Mujeres, and Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana. For this main reason will will not be back to this Finest or any other Finest hotel. The service was pretty good for the most part. I do want to call out Arturo, one of main managers. He was incredible and really saved our trip. My wife wanted to leave after one day. Again I just wanted to repeat that we realize food is subjective.

Excellent place for family vacation. It is well suit for couples and/or family vacation. Very nice beach and hotel location (it is very safe and has a Safety Gate for the hotels in the sector where admission to vehicles is controlled for Safety and only to allow entrance of the hotel guests at Playa Mujeres) The room is clean and organized at least twice a day. The Kids Club staff is excellent and organize plenty of activities for the kids. Service at the hotel facilities, bars and restaurants is really good, staff looks very happy working there. Gym and Tennis clinics are very good too. Shows and a great variety of day activities. Very easy to visit as well Isla Mujeres by Ferry. A real 5 stars Resort.

Some the food options were questionable, the tropical juice bar with fresh coconuts and the taco truck onsite were our favorites

Beautiful and modern resort. Some of the best food we have had! Highly recommend!

This place has a modern style and has a city vibe. I came in March, and there were so many little kids everywhere, even in the adult areas. There were dress code restrictions at many restaurants, which made it inconvenient to visit. I came with my husband, thinking this was an adult venue, but it turned out to be a family kids' event venue. With kids left unsupervised in the adult play area.
