Beloved Playa Mujeres

Just returned from our second trip to Beloved and to say the trip was perfect would be an understatement - our last trip there was in December 2024 and I left feeling that the resort needed some work, the food was average but the people and service have always been amazing. Beloved has also added more activities throughout the day, the Soundbath at the palapa was lovely! This trip was different, we originally booked a ground floor Casita but due to renovations to these rooms we were moved to an Ocean View Terrace Suite which was a pleasant and lovely surprise. The room was stunning, had amazing views and the plunge pool was the perfect way to spend the afternoon. I have some strange food allergies and the resort took extra care to ensure that I was able to eat at every restaurant and have an enjoyable meal - this is huge when traveling as I don’t want just steamed veggies and meat. They have also recently expanded the menus at the restaurants and the options for my husband were plentiful. The service here is truly what sets Beloved apart from other resorts for us, due to the small, intimate nature of the resort you get to the know the staff and they remember who you are when you come back. It was such a wonderful and relaxing week. I cannot complete my review without mentioning the gym, my goodness…what a workout space. There is everything you can want and more, free weights, machines, TRX, treadmills, etc. and the machines are in clean, working order. I looked forward to going to the gym daily and grabbing a green juice from the cooler in the gym. Carlos at the Front Desk was so helpful during our checkin and getting me situated with restaurant needs, Luis - I cannot say enough about him, he is such an amazing beach waiter, he took care of us last time and it was such a pleasant surprise to see him again this time, he is such a gem! Jibran, helped me at several of the restaurants with ordering - he was AMAZING! Fernando at Caffeto who worked in the evening is hilarious and kept me well fed of yummy baked goods! Leeth, is just the sweetest hostess at Le Bisou (I cannot believe she’s only worked there a month - Beloved keep her at all costs!), to Vicente (Le Bisou), Denisee (Beach Concierge) and Jesus (Lupita) thank you for making our vacation so wonderful. Beloved truly does have the best staff.

The resort offers a relaxing atmosphere where you can truly unplug and let them do the work. When the biggest decision you have to make is pool or beach and what to have to eat and drink then you know you are in the right place. This was our third time and we will keep coming back in the years to come.

The staff at the Beloved are the most accommodating in every area. They are so attentive to your needs and are happy to get anything that you may not have in your room. There is never a wait for anything so you can just relax and move at your own pace. My husband and I have been here three times and we will continue to chose this resort. Hands down it is the BEST!

We had a great time at Beloved Playa Mujeres! We wanted a small quiet couples only resort with a nice beach to just relax and be together! We loved the private SUV transfer from the airport, the welcome drink, and quick checkin. Our room was beautiful and spacious with good service and dessert/drinks stocked daily. The beach was really nice with little day beds and huts to sit. We were helped with towels and to set up our spot each day which was very nice! There was a storm that caused some waves but when the weather cleared up the water was nice and easy to swim with powdery sand. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly and took care of any concerns we had through out the trip. The hydrotherapy at the spa and couples massage were fantastic as well as the nidra meditation and myofascial class. There was a yoga class earlier in the week before we arrived that we had missed but would have loved to go. The food was really great and the coffee at the little cafe and tacos at the food truck were exceptional! Thank you to everyone who made our trip so great including Karla, Griselda, Bernice, Adela, Denise, Luis, Oscar, Elvis, Pascual, Chef Jose, Regina, Amanda, and the lovely hostess who greeted us every morning. There are many more wonderful people that made our trip special and we are so appreciative of them all.

This property is well maintained and the service is top notch. Very small and quiet. Lots of time to relax at pool, beach and drink and eat. Every person who works here is amazing. Our room was outstanding. The plunge pool was a nice perk. All food and drinks are made to order. 6 places to eat! We enjoyed service on the beach every day. We even used the kayaks and went out on the catamaran (all included). The sargasm was minimal and the water is clear. Take a ferry to Isla for the day if you can. Amazing time over there too!! We will be back!
