Very quiet resort which was good to relax, and seemed to be running at low capacity during our stay. We were very disappointed that the food truck was removed during our stay, and not all of the other 4 dining options are available each day so variety is very limited. The steak house was a major let down, as they changed the menu the one day open during our 4 night stay. I doubt I will ever return as there are way too many other options to visit for the precious time and money.

We just returned from an amazing 7 day stay at beautiful Beloved Playa Mujeres. If you are looking for a relaxing stay with impeccable service, this is the resort for you. We loved the intimacy of this boutique resort, which was perfect to unwind, reconnect and enjoy a slow pace. The beach was beautiful and well kept, with incredible drink and food service. We stayed in a swim out room, and loved sitting outside by the pool in the afternoons (which also offered drink service right to us!) The lay out of the boutique resort made it never feel packed. No need to rise early to hold seats at the beach or pool - Beloved is committed to ensuring everything is easy and restful for its guests. Despite seeing some reviews that talked about a lack of activities, we didn't find that to be the case - we enjoyed a sound bath healing session on the beach, yoga, entertainment in the evenings such as singers and musicians, an acrobatic show and a Mariachi band. Being Canadians staying there during the Stanley Cup hockey playoffs, Javier, the head of entertainment services, even put on a hockey game for us to watch in the sports bar. What a fun experience - thank you, Javier! Special shout out to incredible service from Christian, who greeted us on arrival like members of his family. His joyous personality was the perfect welcome! Thank you to Leon, who took the time to speak to us and get to know us at El Mar restaurant, and Carlos, who provided incredible service at Lupita Steakhouse, taking extra care as I'm a vegetarian. Finally, we loved Hydrotherapy at the spa, and we were lucky to have Regina as our host, who was lovely, professional, and clearly enjoyed her job. One of the absolute highlights for us was the Caffeto Bar - where we enjoyed coffee, pastries, ice cream and lunch snacks everyday. Delightful to wake up early, grab a coffee and go for a walk on the beach and listen to the many birds. It became a lovely routine during our stay! The only downside during our visit was at times the food felt inconsistent - a bit of a mixed bag, with some food being delivered to the table with differing ingredients than noted on the menu. We are already dreaming of another visit to Beloved - it was truly a fabulous getaway. Thank you to all the staff who made our vacation so special!

The whole experience was simply very good indeed. From the limo pick up on arrival to a smooth and easy checkin the first impression was very favorable. The hotel has a very chilled atmosphere of a boutique hotel. The property is very well maintained and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. We never had a problem getting really good beach loungers and under nice shaded areas. The 3 pools were very good as well but we opted to spend most days at the beach which was pristine. The service level of the staff is excellent at every part of the hotel from room service to beach concierge to wait and bar staff. Food is very well prepared and very well presented plus there’s a decent selection. Tables are first come first served with no reservations but we had a 10 minute wait only once! House wines are decent and cocktails were very good. The couples massage and hydrotherapy were very enjoyable. This was our best all inclusive vacation having been on about 15 previously with the vast majority at Sandals. We made a point of asking to speak to the front office manager to express our appreciation for the work of the staff and our overall experience. We are already planning on a return trip later this year. Highly recommend.

It is truly like going home. As we got out of the car Chans greeted us as if he'd met us before, which he had not. As he was asking if this was our first visit, Alex, the Guest services Manager came out and greeted us with hugs and a kiss for my wife. We exchanged pleasantries and he led us to the ever smiling Jacqueline at reception who also recognized us and chatted while checking us in. She is truly a delight to see when you come through those doors. After finishing our check in we ran into Mex and Cristian who greeted us the same way and we updated one of the past years' events. Our first meal was lunch at La Isla. We also had dinner there twice. Each time the food and service was excellent. Our servers - hate that term - were Brenda, Luis & Angel who remembered he took care of us last year and again we shared life updates. Caffeto each morning is fantastic with Cristina, Luis and Gilberto. Great way to start another day in paradise. The beach and pool were as always great and got to see some old friends in Luis, Oscar and at the bar Hugo, who created a monster when he made my wife a Hemingway. Good times were had by all lol. The restaurants may have shortened their menus a little but everything was delicious, and the service was top notch. This includes: Brenda Alfonso, Cirillo, Jafet, Trejo, Luis, Angel and Russell. I also want to mention the hostess Aileen who seemed to be everywhere we went and couldn't have nicer. The Spa: I was not in the mood for the hydrotherapy the day we went for massages, but, Adela was great. As for the massages, they were great. Gloria & Virridianna took excellent care of us, the only problem was that it was over too soon. My wife went back for another treatment with Berenice and practically floated back to the room it was so good. The room remodeling looks great and makes for more space in the swim up suites. Overall, this was my twelfth visit and we are now checking the dates to make it thirteen next year, unless we can squeeze one in in between. Never abad thing.

You will never go to a resort that has better service. There are so many things that go into great service. One, the pool servers remembering your orders and anticipating your need. Two, the friendliness of every single staff member/willingness to help with whatever need you have. You just need to go and you’ll be like the many couples who continually go back.

Please do yourself a favor and go to this resort! I had the most beautiful time with my partner in January. The wait staff was incredibly nice and greeted us with a smile and a yes to every request. We had the opportunity to go to Tulum, and the Xel-Ha, parasailing and jet skiing, we ate the most fantastic meals on a beach bed right next to the water. It was the easiest and most pleasant vacation and gave true meaning to the word luxury. It was not pretentious and the guest coordinator (and every single one of the waitstaff!!) made sure we were having fun every step of the way.
