My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon at Casa Velas and we absolutely adored it. The service throughout was incredible and everyone was so attentive to the small details. We loved eating at Emiliano, the food was delicious every single time whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Our favourites were the Street Tacos, Rib Eye, Cream of Corn Soup, and the Secret Recipe Rice Pudding. Lunch at the aqua bar was also delicious, we loved the guac and chips and the baja tacos! The dinner at the beach club made for a beautiful memorable evening watching the sun set. Overall, we loved the serene, quiet, and peaceful atmosphere of the resort. We can’t wait to be back. We felt so taken care of at Casa Velas. We have stayed at Casa Velas many times and actually prefer it over Grand Velas. This time we brought our family. The people that work there and have been there all these years are just amazing. Ramon is like family to us, we love him so much. He and Gerardo took great care of us. We felt so honored to meet Ramon’s son as well :). Chef Sandra’s food is awesome, food is excellent now! Great for vegetarians! In the summer gnats that bite are quite bad at night so pack mosquito repellent.

I almost hate to tell everyone how fabulous this boutique resort is! We’ve been going here for over 10 years and it just keeps getting better. The property itself is lovingly cared for and luxurious. We love the two quiet pool experiences to mix up the days. The food is all made to order and delicious. But what really keeps us coming back is the incredible service. We love the familiar faces year after year, they truly make our trip unforgettable every time! There are so many names to mention because everyone is truly amazing Freddie was there on our very first trip and we love seeing him each year.. plus Erick, Rodolfo, Ulysses, Omar.. so many. We can’t wait to be back again!

My husband and I visited Casa Velas for our 19th wedding anniversary. The resort exceeded our expectations in every way. From chef Irving’s (and chef Sandra’s) delicious cuisine, to the serene, beautifully maintained grounds, to the refreshing strawberry margaritas made by Ramon and served by the illustrious Uly (and Gerardo) who were so happy to serve us, to the spotless, tranquil cottage maintained by Edith, we are so sad to be back home in Los Angeles now. This vacay was truly a treat. Special thanks to Osvaldo, Omar, my Chuy Jesus, Daniel who went above and beyond to make sure our food was served hot and promptly. Special touches and kindness by the whole Casa Velas team did not go unnoticed by us. The ladies at the spa were lovely. Special thanks to Citlaly and Lourdes. We can’t wait to come back home to see these wonderful people who are now our family. We recommend this resort 1000%.
