What a beautiful and wonderful resort!
After reading many reviews for this resort, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. But I was pleasantly surprised! We went the last week of March for college spring break. We had no trouble getting beach chairs at 7 AM or even at 8 AM. You do not make reservations for the restaurants. However, if you go between six and 630, you can get a buzzer then your table is ready within 45 minutes or so. We would go to the lobby and listen to live music while enjoying drinks until table was ready. The breakfast and lunch buffets were outstanding! I had been to quite a few all inclusive resorts and these were some of the best! Many freshly made foods and there is a high variety!

The Perfect Family Vacation
This is an amazing hotel. The Kids Corner was a perfect surprise our vacation. The whole crew was great- Yareli, Melissa, Muramay, Kissel and Galilea made sure the little ones had a blast. Can't beat the location, the entire wait staff was impeccable... we'll be back!

This was the nicest vacation I’ve ever been on. The service was amazing. The staff took their time and put care into each experience. Esmeralda and Jorge at vela were absolutely amazing. We brought a 1 year old and they didn’t make me feel like it was an inconvenience. I got a service at the spa with Daniella and she was great. Finally, the mojito lounge was a highlight - Eduardo made me the best cucumber mojito I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Resort
Outstanding vacation. The staff was incredible and what made the trip so special. Everyone was helpful and showed incredible hospitality throughout our stay. Jorge, Jose, and Pedro took care of the family at Vela every morning starting our days off with pure bliss. Marco was able to make my kids laugh and smile as he crafted their meals. Alfredo was an absolute professional delivering exceptional poolside service. The rest of the staff would go above and beyond to make our stay special.
