Excellent for young families
This hotel is an absolute dream if you are a family with young children. It has tailored so many aspects of the experience to make life easier for parents and families. We really enjoyed the pool amenities for child entertainment and the playrooms in many of the restaurants. The kids club area was really done well as well. They offer babysitting and daycare services and in general the staff we all interacted with her friendly and accommodating. The suite we booked had a large balcony and plunge pool which we thoroughly enjoyed. The beach is really nice as well with lots of space between beach loungers. The food was really good as well! All in all not much to fault in our experience here.

Its an okay resort the people were amazing
The people there made the resort great but the food and drink quality could be a lot better. I would like to give a huge shoutout to Carlos he made the whole experience memorable for my whole wedding party. He is great give that kid a raise because he deserves it. Also he’s a comedian that kid is really funny.

Playa Mujeres is better
Very nice facilities for kids but rooms poorly cleaned; staff rude; room orders incorrect; DND ignored; activities ended early. Bedding amenity is poor. They really need to educate their workers. Everyday I had to call for towels and water bottles. They never came or ignored my request to just leave it inside without someone. Like 30% of staff were rude but the rudeness is bad. They seem to be irritated or ignorant to do their jobs. Room cleaning is only organizing. So much dust and never cleaned thoroughly. Bed sheets and pillows are like 3 star hotels quality.

Great time in DR
Great resort with amenities for kids. Right on the beach, easily walkable but not small, right amount of pools and bars, restaurants, etc. Two small complaints, service at some of the restaurants was very mediocre, especially terrible at the Italian restaurant. Other minor grievance is that sinks are too high for kids, in the room and throughout the hotel. A couple of step stools would go a long way
