Finest Punta Cana

Our stay at Finest Punta Cana was truly, beyond amazing. From the time we stepped foot onto the resort, we not only felt cared for but we were treated as family. The location of the resort is perfectly placed on a beautiful beach in the Uvero Alto. The atmosphere when we arrived was warm and welcoming. Each staff member treated us with care upon arrival. The room we stayed in, the finest club family suite was perfect for our family of 5. There was plenty of space for us (even a separate room for two of our kids) and it was well equipped with everything we needed and more. The value for what we received was well worth it. In addition, every corner of the resort was pristine and very clean. The amenities for the finest club members were wonderful as well as we had a dedicated check in experience along with various other amenities just for finest club members. We also enjoyed each of the nightly shows, especially the Stars Night and the Michael Jackson tribute, the artist and dancers were truly talented!! Everything at Finest was truly amazing and we would give this resort a resounding 100000/10. However, I would be remiss to say that what made our experience over the top was the outstanding staff. Each member of the staff at Finest were wonderful but there were a few that were truly phenomenal that we want to recognize for the exceptional service and kindness. Xavier, Javier, Kevin, and Soleda who are part of the entertainment crew are the heart and soul of Finest. They not only involved us in the daily activities, they sought us out and became like family for the few days we were there. They are by far the best entertainment crew team members we have had the pleasure of meeting at a resort and they made our stay exceptional. They are the life of Finest and deserve the recognition for who they are! We also would like to call out specific staff at the various restaurants as well. Olvi, who we met our second night at Insieme, treated us just like family the entire week. He went above and beyond to help us and showed us immense kindness each day we were there. The same goes for Ivan and Andris at Brass restaurant and Yesion at Lizo. Each of these service professionals went above and beyond and we honestly were humbled by how kind and helpful they were to our family. Overall, we loved every single part of our experience at Finest Punta Cana and our kids are already ready to plan another trip back soon!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finest Punta Cana has been an incredible experience, and a huge part of that is because of Welinton, Kevin, Mary, Argenis, and Antonio. Each of them provided true five-star service and consistently went above and beyond to make our stay special. They were welcoming, attentive, professional, and always made sure we were taken care of. Their hospitality is exactly what you hope for when staying at a luxury resort. Finest Punta Cana is one of the best resorts we’ve experienced because of people like Welinton, Kevin, Mary, Argenis, and Antonio. They are exceptional representatives of the resort and deserve recognition for the level of service they provide. Thank you all for making our experience unforgettable. Five stars all around!

We traveled as a family and booked a Finest Club Beachfront room with a private pool. Unfortunately, we didn’t really have much of a view, which was disappointing considering the room category. The hotel is still fairly new, but it already feels like it’s been open for 10 years. Some of the finishes could be better and we didn’t find the beds very comfortable. One of the biggest disappointments was the number of private events. Some areas and restaurants were closed to hotel guests because of these events. When you pay for all-included vacation, you expect to be able to enjoy all the restaurants and areas of the resort. It felt like private events were more important than the guests staying at the hotel. The hotel next door also has a lot of events, and the music was very loud at night. The food was very average overall. Lizo was good, but most of the other restaurants were nothing special, especially for a resort of this caliber. At Duke’s, we ordered the lobster and it had a very strong ammonia taste which was really disgusting and concerning. Also, some of the employees didn’t seem very happy and you could feel it in the service. Overall, the hotel is ok but for the price we paid, we expected better quality, better food and a more relaxing experience.

Room service really bad they never have what you want after 12 plus the order arrived wrong and poor cleaning situation

We had an amazing stay at Excellence Punta Cana and I would highly recommend this resort to anyone considering a visit. It exceeded our expectations. A special shoutout goes to the Entertainment Team for their outstanding dedication to guests. Javier, Xavier, and Kevin consistently brought so much energy, enthusiasm, and positivity to every activity. They were always engaging, welcoming, and attentive, and truly helped make the atmosphere fun and memorable. I also want to recognize Mr. Jose Melo at The Brass restaurant for going above and beyond to ensure we had an exceptional dining experience. In addition, Kevin at Surf & Turf and Market Kitchen stood out for his attentiveness and willingness to assist whenever needed. As first-time visitors, we were genuinely impressed. The resort is extremely well managed, and every detail of our stay was thoughtfully taken care of. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and are already looking forward to coming back.
