Finest Punta Cana

Beautiful place, very clean. Staff were excellent. Restaurants were very nice and food good. Was not impressed by buffet food at all. We were there right after Hurricane Erin, so beach was red flagged and full of seaweed. Pools were clean and spacious. All and all, I would highly recommend this resort.

We enjoyed our stay at this resort. We stayed on the adult side of the resort but we also went to the family side for the shows and entertainment. Our room was clean beautiful and spacious. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. We will be back soon! I highly recommend this resort!

Review of Finest Punta Cana – Terrible Excursion Experience and awful customer service from the resort itself. We recently stayed at Finest Punta Cana and the resort itself was absolutely beautiful — The rooms, pools, and amenities were excellent, and we truly enjoyed our time on the property. Unfortunately, our experience with the on-site excursion company was the complete opposite. From the moment we arrived, they approached us repeatedly to book activities. We finally decided on a 4-hour boat excursion, sold to us by Jonathon for $465 USD (plus an extra $40 cash he requested). We were promised private transportation for our family of five, a 25-minute ride to the boat, a private captain and server, and an all-inclusive experience with food and drinks. Here’s what actually happened: We were put on a 45-minute bus ride with 30 strangers. The boat was a small glass-bottom boat that felt unsafe in the waves — smaller than the dinghy that transported us to it. Water was coming over the sides from the start, soaking us. The “server” spent the trip on his phone and never spoke to us, while the captain drank most of the beer on board. Drinks consisted of beer, Sprite, and water — no food whatsoever. We saw no sea turtles as promised, and “Dolphin Island” turned out to be a sad fenced-in enclosure in the ocean where dolphins are kept captive. At the “natural pool,” large boats repeatedly bumped into ours, and my husband and I had to physically push them away while the captain wandered off to eat food he got from another boat. When we returned, I asked Jonathon for a refund. After days of back-and-forth, he agreed to return half of the credit card charge ($212.50), and I signed an agreement with him and the resort’s manager confirming this. It has now been 21 days, and despite contacting the excursion company multiple times, I still haven’t received the refund. Every time I’m told “tomorrow,” but nothing happens. This was by far the most frustrating part of our trip, and I’ve spent more time trying to get my refund than I did enjoying the excursion. While I can wholeheartedly recommend Finest Punta Cana for its resort experience, I strongly urge anyone staying here to avoid booking excursions through the company on-site.

Finest was one of Our best experience vacation 6 night was not enough, so nice Resort the rooms very clean, the food was very good specially surf & turf restaurant, very quality Drinks at all bars, but the best is the service, the people is very friendly's. Finest is the best family resort, my children enjoyed a lot the activities at the beach with Marianny, Ana also you can enjoy you breakfast, lunch Or dinner because they have lounge around the restaurants, Ruth cared and did face painting with my children everyday, at the sweet corner the ice cream was so good also the frappe. During the night we enjoyed the live music at the central plaza and the shows like Circus, lighting and Karaoke so funny entertainment, specially Bryan I think he's the boss but he played with the children around the Plaza. I can't wait to come back for the great bubble and drinks. Thanks Finest people.

My husband and I chose this resort for our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived we experienced amazing service. Marcelo provided us with a smooth check in experience and even gave us some honeymoon upgrades. Freddy showed us to our room and gave us a tour of the resort answering all of our questions. The excellence lounge bartender Rony made us top notch drinks during our entire stay and always greeted us with a warm welcome. My favorite part of the day was running into Aracelis throughout the resort. She always had a big welcoming smile on her face and made sure we were aware of all of the activities going on around the resort and made each activity extra fun to participate in. We’ve had the best resort food and experience here and definitely recommend to anyone traveling to DR. We will be back!! Thank you all for making our honeymoon extra special
