From the moment we arrived at Paradisus Palma Real, we felt genuinely cared for — and that was entirely thanks to Eriol, our concierge. He went above and beyond every single day to make sure our stay was unforgettable, and he put extraordinary care into making my husband David’s birthday truly special. Eriol anticipated our needs before we even voiced them, checked in on us with sincerity (never intrusion), and arranged thoughtful surprises that made David feel celebrated from morning to night. His warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail elevated our entire experience. The resort itself is beautiful, but it’s people like Eriol who make it exceptional. Because of him, this trip became one of our most memorable vacations. We can’t recommend Paradisus Palma Real enough — and if you’re lucky enough to have Eriol as your concierge, you’re in the best hands.

Eriol our concierge was excellent. Gave special attention. Always kept in touch during our stay and provided assistance with all her reservations.

I booked through Costco Travel, we stayed at The Reserve Adults Only section. We ate at all 6 reservation restaurants and enjoyed our meals, especially Mina Steakhouse and Blue Agave Mexican. Buffet food was fine, there were plenty of options and most of it was good. The nightly entertainment was good but not incredible. We stayed at the Adults Only pool and Reserve pools mostly so I can't speak to the activities in the main pool other than the activities are minimal compared to the Sun Palace in Cancun. This was fine with us. The beach is beautiful, they do a great job taking care of the entire property. And everything was very easily walkable. The "family fun park" called Fun Republic was indeed fun, two mini golf courses and a bunch of activities for kids. Occupancy was low during our stay, which made getting chairs by the pool or beach very easy. I don't think I would get The Reserve again, but our attendant Eriol was incredibly attentive and good at communicating with us. He handled our reservations which was the best part. The "Reserve Only" restaurant "Santé" was good but not worth the added cost in hindsight. Ari, a bartender at the Adults Only pool was very friendly with my wife and I and made her special fruit smoothies which was incredibly kind. Some cons, the A/C was broken in our room the final night. Most of the desserts were tasteless and spongy, but some were good. Alcoholic drinks were often watered down compared to the Sun Palace in Cancun. Overall it was a great and very relaxing trip, we would come here again for the price we paid.
