Amazing trip and resort! Staff were great we had no need to leave on excursions in the 7 days we were there. Beach was nice and ocean water was warmer than the pool! Beach chairs were full by 8 am. Pool about the same. Service was amazing, workshops and things to do were fun. Spa service was pricy but very good massage for deep tissue. Restaurants were great and food was very good but the Japanese lacked vs other resorts Ive been to. Mexican was the best! Only complaint is I would recommend doing the vip lounge in the airport on the way out next time and leave some time to shop.

This amazing place was the best resort we visited in last ten years. First of all it is very well kept, the rooms are beautiful and clean, plenty of towels, non alcoholic drinks in the fridge always full. They have 6 restaurants and a buffet and all meals were amazing. We were using a buffet for breakfast and lunch which you can eat anything you can think of. The staff always great, especially people at the eggs station, very friendly both of them. All dinner options are fantastic. From French, Italian, Asian, Mexican, stake house or Oceanea it is so hard to choose where to go on the 7th night to repeat. Because they were all fantastic we were following the beautiful, kind Lindsay wherever she worked as a hostess that evening. She is a delightful girl that deserves so much praise. 💗 I was very happy with the sea, and the beach chairs and the pools. Amazing grounds. I have one suggestion: making separate parts of the beach for the "preferred " and us regular guests is just not very smart. First of all we paid a lot to come here, so why would I be put in a position to feel not preferred??? Second our beach chairs were full and other section half empty because they were all at the pool. So why wouldn't you allow everybody to use a whole beach. It is not going to make me not to come here again but I didn't like that separation because it is just not right after the large amount we all paid for all the services. Make something else special for them but the beach should be for everybody especially when it is busy. I also wanted to mention fantastic people at the Cafe. They were friendly and kind all the time.

What a great trip! This is our 2nd time back and we loved it even more than the first time.   We were there over Easter weekend, and while it was windy most days, the water was calm & basically sargassum free. A very nice treat. We spent a lot of time at the beach & in the ocean.   Beach palapas were gone by around 9:30am each morning, leaving only spots available in the sun. Most people were respectful and actually occupying their loungers, which was nice. We never did the pool, so I can’t speak to that.   Beach service was amazing for the most part. We had 1 day where service was slow. Reyes at the beach bar is THE BEST. He remembered my drink order every time without me needing to ask, and I loved that. Ronald on the beach was also a standout server for us.   Seaside Grill was a highlight for our daily lunches. Eddy, Luisa & Johani were excellent and attentive servers. Daniela was a great hostess/greeter too. Julian from the coffee cart was the best. He had the most welcoming smile and we loved having him make us a speciality coffee after lunch each day. We were lucky enough to have him as our server at Portofino one night too. He knew we were coming and had a table ready for us with rose petals, it was quite lovely. Julian is a star – don’t lose him!   The breakfast buffet was great each morning. Fresh, hot food, every time with so many smiling faces to greet and serve. Each morning they had this warm cinnamon loaf near the omelette station that was super delicious – I highly recommend.     Jenfry was our concierge, and while we didn’t need to use him for anything this trip, he was always checking in and always available. We did run into Cristian, our concierge from last time. He was meant to be with us this trip, but had some unexpected time off. He was soooo lovely & we were so thrilled to see him.   A couple of things that we noticed were different or that we feel could be improved were:   Glassware: It seems like there was maybe a shortage of glassware around the resort. We were sometimes served drinks in plastic cups at both the lobby bar and also at El Patio. It felt out of place.   The “vendor” selling clothing on the beach seemed out of place here too. I don’t remember this from last time. She set up a mannequin and a sign at the waters edge which seemed strange and really did interrupt the “view”. She walked around the loungers, holding a bag and talking to ladies to see if anyone was interested in shopping. 

The rooms – while we love these rooms, I really wish there was a place to eat in them! A table with two chairs on either the balcony or inside would go so far in being able to enjoy the space for in-room dining.   We are counting down the days until we return again.

Spent a week at this amazing place with my partner and had the absolute best time! We stayed non preferred but had a swim out room and it was honestly the best vacation I’ve had in my life. The food is amazing but the service is even better!! We had MJ as our concierge and he was hands down the most amazing person and took such good care of us! Would 100% recommend this resort to anyone

This resort is absolutely beautiful, from the layout to the landscape, to the pools and the people. You can be as relaxed as you want or as active as you want. The activities team is nothing short of awesome. Rihanna, Jhon Cena, Scooby and Ice Cube were so much fun, whether doing water aerobics, water Zumba, kayak racing, ring toss, mini golf, etc, they were a riot and made everyone feel special. The meals - wow - first class all the way. Drinks were delicious and always presented like you were on a tropical islands. I can’t say enough about these employees. They had fun with not only the guests, but with each other. It was clear they loved their job. The resort was also very clean, no room service trays left outside, no garbage anywhere. Our hotel room was cleaned daily and timely. There were areas throughout the resort that focused on a laid back atmosphere, but there were also areas where people were more lively and interacted with each other. Whether you want romance or meet new people, the choice is yours.
