Secrets Cap Cana is simply amazing! It was the perfect romantic getaway for me and my husband. It's such a beautiful resort; the food and drinks are amazing. Our concierge, Philippe, was so kind and attentive throughout our entire stay. I was so impressed by hospitality shown by everyone at the resort, especially the servers Esperanza and Xiomara. They remembered my husband and I each day and were just so friendly. I truly cannot recommend Secrets Cap Cana enough.

I really wanted to love this resort but it was average at best. Pros. Staff are friendly and helpful, beautiful pool and beach area. Live music by the pool and in the lobby are amazing Housekeeping came everyday and made beds and restocked towels. Restrooms were always clean Cons: The buildings themselves are not up to the standard for the price. Floors in rooms are tile and constantly wet from condensation. Rooms smell like damp. they're also not very bright. Bedframe was very dusty. The food is well below par. options for breakfast are the buffet or the 24 hr market but no matter which one you choose the flies are all over the food. We chose to "starve" until 11.30 when the lunch options open and you can order made to order food and eat quickly . I know the climate brings flies but the resort does not seem to be doing anything at all to even try combat the problem. Nobody seems to mind that there's a fly on the muffin they are picking up to serve you. The dinner restaurants are just ok. nothing special but edible. Nighttime entertainment could be better . The cover bands every night are not great. The spa is ok at best. Its a one trick pony. My massage oil smelled like olive oil and even after asking me my problem areas I feel like I just got a generic step by step massage . Again the staff there are very eager but its just not that great. In general the staff walk around telling you are in paradise and everything is excellent no ? what are you supposed to say. without sounding rude so we agreed Maybe its excellent for them but not for us. They are doing the best with what they have but unfortunately for me this is not the place to spend my money. I have experienced much cleaner vibrant and better food for far less.

We loved the property itself! Lovely preferred pools and option to go to the main pool for more music and activities. The staff is WARM and welcoming at every turn and will do all they can to make you happy. We did not think the food was as good as it could have been at such a high end property but when they heard we were not thrilled, they jumped into action to make it better. That means a lot. We enjoyed the property a lot, though. Spa services were also wonderful!

I spent weeks trying to decide where to go and which resort to stay at. We eventually decided on Secrets Cap Cana after scouring reviews, forums, and apps. This place met our expectations and more. We upgraded our room upon checkin to a swim out and are so glad we did. Miguel, our butler, was amazing. Sent us daily information, booked our spa treatment, and helped us with anything we needed. He went above and beyond to create a romantic experience for our 10th anniversary celebration. The beach was beautiful and the food was amazing. We would definitely retun again...and would be thrilled to be paired with Miguel again!

Where to begin…we have been 9 times and came home and already no we will certainly be booking again! If you want an all adult 5 star experience this is it! The grounds are kept meticulous, the food is very good, rooms are beautiful, resort is so well laid out, ocean is stunning but the best part is the staff/Dominican people. They are so genuine, kind, helpful and treat you like family. I haven’t come in contact with anyone who wasn’t wonderful working there. Let me point out some very special people/families…Carlos, la diva, Madelyn as pool server, Esther and the entire staff at Coco cafe. I’d I missed anyone I am sorry. You are all wonderful and have become our extended family. We have brought many friends and everyone loves it and will be coming back. The Bali beds are a must, the spa, a must, and the shows a must! Every person pictured here deserves kudos!!! You all are what make us keep coming back
