Secrets Cap Cana Resort & Spa

We love this resort. The property is amazing and the service is outstanding. Folks like Miguel, Ramon, Juan Carlos, Eddy Murphy, and our butler Christian made our trip excellente! Also, we love the food here. Our favorite restaurants were Bordeaux and Oceana for dinner and the Seaside Grill and Market Cafe for breakfast and lunch. Not everything is perfect but you'll usually find plenty of great dishes. We tend to enjoy the pool more and the pools here are beautiful and fun. The pool service is great and you can enjoy lots of great cocktails. We also went to the spa one day and enjoyed our hydrotherapy session and 50 minute relaxing massages. They were great. Only good things to say about our favorite resort so far.

My wife and I just returned from our stay at Secrets Cap Cana. We were both blown away by how beautiful the location is, this is truly a 5 star luxury experiance at its best. We visited during October and the weather was phenomenal. The beach did have some sargassum which traditionally is highly unusual for this time of the year. This had no impact on our experience whatsoever. The hotel staff cleaned the beach everyday. We were greeted with champagne and fresh towels while we were checked in and introduced to our concierge. We did have a problem with our booking and ended up having to switch rooms, this was a minor annoyance especially after a long flight, however we totally understand sometimes these things happen. Our concierge "Israel" took great care of us and checked with us frequently to ensure everything was going well. He honestly done such a good job I wanted to put his name here. He was always available via "WhatsApp" and was visible throughout the resort. Izzy, and the other numerous staff we interacted with really went above and beyond to look after us, from poolside, beachside and room service, we tried it all. Specially mention to Yohani and Anury as well. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was huge and very comfortable, our mini bar was restocked everyday, our bedsheets were opened for us, chocolates placed on our pillows and towels and slippers left our for us every single night while we were out having dinner. The resort had plenty of sun loungers to choose from during the day, both on the beach and by the numerous pools, various activities took place during the day with all the information and itinerarys available on the App. I cannot find fault here on any level. We travel extensively and have been all over the world. This experience at Secrets Cap Cana Just might be our best one yet. We are going to book again for next year and have already recommended this resort to our friends and family.

Beautiful resort. The staff couldn’t do enough. Luis our concierge was always available to assist us in any way he could. He would send inspirational messages every morning and the daily activities. He checked with us in person daily. He helped to make our trip run smoothly. Pool staff: Jose, made sure we always had towels and umbrellas. He was friendly and helpful. He always made sure we were ok. Anamely (I apologize if her name is misspelled and she worked at night also in the lobby) and Felidia and the entire pool staff made sure we always had drinks and snacks. We never had to look for them. They were always there providing great service. Entertainment: Mini-mi was the most friendly, talented and funny person. We loved his classes and looked forward to seeing him everyday. He was an amazing dancer!! He was so much fun to be around and made our day!! Scooby-Doo was kind and helpful and always entertaining. He always encouraged us to get involved in activities. LaDiva, Elizabeth, Rihanna, and Beyoncé were always happy and friendly and great dancers. Always making sure we were aware of different activities. All the shows were great! It was an amazing experience and our 2nd time there. The only negative comment is that the room had a musty, moldy smell. It was always kept clean but the odor was strong. Our concierge was kind enough to get a dehumidifier which helped a little. Our room last year had the same issue. Hopefully something can be done about that. All in all we had an unforgettable vacation due to the amazing staff!!

This place is amazing.. Grounds, Food and Drink are 10/10. Mini with the Pool/Beach Entertainment team is a blast. He truly is the perfect person for the job and is one of the reasons we will continue to come back. Angelo was our concierge both times and he treats up like family and also is one of the reasons we will continue to come back. Can’t say enough good things. We brought 6 other friends this time and will bring more next time!!

The staff is the best part of the whole place. I think everything need to updated. There’s paint chipping, chipping cement, air conditioning breaking, the pools had a green scum around them. We have stayed at many Secrets Resort, they have definitely gone downhill, Just not what they used to be. Very sad. The food was just all right until seven people in our party got sick. Sad to say this is the end of my experience in the DR. Last time was 2019 and we all got Covid.
