Secrets Cap Cana Resort & Spa

We typically stay at Sandals resorts but decided to change things up this time, and we’re very glad we did. This resort was exceptional. Overall, the service, food, and atmosphere were outstanding, and the property itself is beautiful and well maintained. The staff truly makes the experience — attentive, warm, and consistently going above and beyond. Dining exceeded our expectations, and everything felt polished and high-end from start to finish. One thing worth noting for future travelers: nightly entertainment is more limited compared to some larger all-inclusive resorts. Aside from the theater shows, evenings are generally quieter. That said, it fit the relaxed, upscale vibe of the resort and never took away from our experience. Also, the average guest age skewed a bit older (50+), so honeymooners or younger couples looking for a high-energy nightlife scene should keep that in mind. If you’re looking for a refined, laid-back, luxury adults-only experience, this resort absolutely delivers. We would definitely return and highly recommend it.

This was our first all inclusive and Secrets Cap Cana did not disappoint! The property was impeccably clean, and the pools and beach were stunning. The resort is only 15 minutes from the Airport so transportation was easy. We had a room facing the pool with a plunge bath which was great. No issues with noise at all. I found the room had a bit of a musty smell at first, but our concierge got us a dehumidifier and that cleared that up. Speaking of which, our concierge Francis was amazing. He would check in on us regularly, texted us the daily activities happening on the resort each morning, and was generally super kind, thoughtful, and helpful. He helped us sort out transportation back to the airport, and even booked us a table at one of the restaurants. Lastly, the food was really good (Bordeaux and Portofino were our favorites), and there was plenty of variety. My wife is celiac, and they were able to accomodate her dietary needs without any issues - all we had to do was let our server know beforehand. All of the menus were marked with which items could be made gluten free.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort! We went there for a family wedding. The Secrets Cap Cana staff was extremely attentive, kind, and responsive to our specific needs. We are so appreciative, and we would definitely stay there again!!! NB and JB, happy travelers :)

The service was so unbelievably good. FRANCIS, our concierge in Building 5, was so knowledgeable about the resort. Assisted us plenty of times with room service needs, and even went above and beyond to have prepared a dominican cuisine specialty not offered on the restaurant menu. JUAN, who was helping by the infinity pool, helped my wife and I get beautiful seats by the pool, got us towels, and even went out of his way to get something for the lobby from us so wouldn't need to leave the pool. He was so friendly! CHRIS BROWN, who was on the Entertainment Team, had a great personality! He was upbeat, funny, friendly, and full of good vibes! He loves his job and takes pride in his work! The food was amazing, the beach was amazing, the rooms were incredible. You name it Secrets Cap Cana is an amazing resort!

We came for our honeymoon and had a wonderful experience. We stayed in one of the preferred master swim out rooms and had the pleasure of having Jeison Calderon as our personal butler. Jeison was the best! We were able to text him at any time for any of our needs and we always received a response in under 2 minutes. He was extremely attentive and made sure to check in with us first thing every morning. He even arranged a private breakfast in our room as well as thoughtful honeymoon decorations. 10/10 service from Jeison! Aside from our room, we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food as well as the variety. Service throughout the resort was quick and every staff member was very friendly. The only con: the music at the pool is not good. It’s probably enjoyable if you are over the age of 60, but we are not. Overall, we had the best honeymoon and would definitely return to Secrets Cap Cana!
